I’ve always found this to be the most memorable Minecraft song. It’s so slow paced but there’s something climactic about it. My memories of when I heard it are never from when I made grand accomplishments, but when I was doing things like traversing landscapes, building, fishing, planting seeds, taking a break from clearing a cave, or shacking up in a small hole when I was ill equipped for the night. Those are my fondest memories of the game. I think it’s a reminder that the best times in life aren’t when you did everything perfectly or in the shortest time possible, but when you just enjoyed the journey.
this, also going through old worlds, servers or playing old versions while this is playing fills me with massive nostalgia. and it also honestly makes me a bit sad because it reminds me that those times of playing this game when i didn't know anything about it are over and that i won't have that beautiful experience of discovering things and meeting new people like back then again...

This comment is so true that I wanna cry When I was like 8 I had really good Minecraft friends online (I didn't really talk with irl friend a lot) and God I had a good time with them but then one of my best friends of that group killed themselves and the group stopped talking and my discord account from back then got hacked so I lost all connections with them and to this day I'm so grateful I had those people but it's kinda sad that I didn't do anything. I wish I did something to stop him bc I knew he was sad but at that age I didn't have a concept of what suicide was I miss him
