Fakhar I really admire your courage and determination to not only attempt but complete this remarkable circumnavigation in a single engine aircraft. As a doctor I see people requesting tranquillisers to just take a flight and you have gone round the world single handedly, Bravo. You have done Pakistan proud and shows what can be achieved by dedication and focus.
I saw your series of 7 videos, quite interesting. Just curious, how come you flew in to the clouds and shot instrument approaches without having the instrument rating? It’s hard to believe that you didn’t have another properly rated pilot, perhaps pilots, on board and you were solo. You mostly flew IMC in Class A airspaces and you’re not even instrument rated. It’s either that you are not at all aware of the limitations of a private pilot certificate mentioned in the FAR/AIM or you just did a good job at making people believe that you actually circumnavigated the world on your own, the latter sounds more appealing to me. If you were really solo in those weather conditions then you certainly violated the conditions of your private pilot certificate, which I don’t think you would. Also, please let me know who agreed to give you their aircraft to fly solo around the world without proper turboprop experience and more importantly, instrument rating? I have been flying around the South Florida area in particular for years and haven’t come across anyone who would even rent their 172 without a checkout flight and/or a CFI. I know you’re a well known celebrity in Pakistan and you probably have the connections to be able to secure the sponsors for this circumnavigation but at least be honest about it, you were not solo. In all 7 videos, you made it sound like you were doing the most dangerous thing any human has ever attempted lol Aviators have circumnavigated solo on piston engine aircrafts, you were in a Pilatus with other pilots. “Since you only have a 1 in 9,821 chance of dying from an air incident, flying is actually one of the safest forms of transportation.” Don’t get me wrong, I found your videos really entertaining but I just didn’t like that you misrepresented the fact that you did it all alone. And on top of that, you have disabled comments on those videos so someone like myself don’t pick on those little details 😂 Stick to showbiz please, aviation is a serious business, or at least be honest about your achievements in aviation. If someone from Pakistan genuinely attempts to circumnavigate the world solo he probably won’t get the credit for being the first as you’ve already wrongfully claimed that. Hope you read this and get back to me, which I highly doubt. Happy landings..!
Very well said. Watching this video almost after a year, but unfortunately nothing has changed. But I am a strong believer that love and peace will one day prevail
Best wishes from Denmark.
Great work bro, love from Australia
He didn’t do it by himself, please read my comment to know the details. He misrepresented himself.
