I would like for the third installment to be set some 20 years in the future. Alejandro is off the map, presumed dead, dismantling Carlos Reyes on his own, going rogue. Matt has been retired for the botched mission in Sicario 2 and for saving Isabelle Reyes. She returns to her father. The twist here is that Isabelle loathed her feelings of helplessness and being at the mercy of so many unknown elements. She determined never to feel so weak again. Meanwhile, Alejandro has trained Miguel (the snot nose who shot him in Sicario 2) as his protégé. Miguel has risen up the ranks of the Reyes organization feeding Alejandro info needed to attack the operations. Matt in the U.S. is approached by Agent Foards (Keener from S2). She's now a top level director in the CIA. She's concerned over what she perceives is a drug war. Reyes is blindly hitting his rivals because Reyes doesn't know who's hitting their operations. The rivals are striking back. This violence is driving refugees to the U.S. border. Foards engages Graver to find out who is hitting Reyes and stop the violence to quell the surge of refugees at the U.S Southern border. As Graver zeroes on the phantom assailants, Alejandro senses a new player. The two end up facing the barrel end of each other's guns. The night vision goggles come off. Graver is stunned to see a ghostly Gillick, silver hair. They broker an uneasy peace...and determine to take down Reyes once and for all. Miguel by now has become an inner circle bodyguard to Isabelle Reyes. He has fallen for Isabel and wants to warn her without getting himself killed in the process. The final act is Gillick, Graver and Miguel blowing the doors on the Reyes compound and Miguel desperately trying to alert Isabelle w/o getting killed. The two end up in a room with Graver and Gillick having taken out everyone else. Graver comes in first, and is shocked to see Isabelle. She lowers her weapon which she had fired in Graver's direction. Gillick comes from behind, not seeing who she is, forces her to drop her gun. Gillick demands Carlos Reyes, Isabelle turns around to declare that he's been a vegetable for the past 10 years after a stroke and points to a withered man in a wheel chair. Gillick realizes now that Isabelle is running the show. She declares to Graver that she doesn't need him to rescue her...she has her own army now...and says they're on their way to her location. Miguel begs her to come with them and leave this violent, destructive business behind. Alejandro shoots Carlos in the head, saying he did this as much a mercy to her as revenge for him. He tells Isabelle there is nothing left for you here except death! The 4 of them face off an army of armed men led by traitorous lieutenants in Reyes' organization who wanted to depose Isabelle and takeover because they felt she wasn't running the business well and they wanted all the power/money for themselves. The end is an all out shoot out and extraction as Graver sets explosives to bring down the whole Reyes compound!
