I'm not a real witch IRL, but my whole room is tapestries with moons and tarot cards and stars, etc. It's just called a whimsigoth style! This is crystal ladies + whimsigoth aesthetic. Real people decorate like that, and real people collect gems and believe they give them...benefits? That they heal them and draw bad energy away, etc. This pack is just riffinf on these real people and their silly beliefs and making that sort of silly belief into a 'real' thing in the Sims. It has nothing, in fact, to do with the magic system in RoM. I don't see why people can't separate these two - there is 0 magic in this. It is literally just taking this real world goofy belief that a rock can heal you, and making it 'real' in TS4. And having celestial decor is just...also something real people do. I have my computer room and my bathroom all done up in VERY similar decor, and I'm not a RoM add-on! lmao
@@christabelle__ I would agree with you but they made it more MAGICAL rather than magical. With the tree and crystal shoes and all that. They went too far in that direction instead of just the whimsical.
@@christabelle__ as a real witch IRL, I can see both sides of this. I think this pack is more magical than IRL magic but both ways it IS magic. Also a lot of the stuff itself looks so so similar. You're right... A lot of packs have been stuff they swept up from the cutting room floor of previous packs. Like Satch said, new packs are just exploitative and cashgrabby.
and then we'll get a single horrible pack costing 40$ instead of 1 bad 20$ pack you can opt-out to buy (ROM) and 2 good packs costing $20 maximum (Paranormal and Crystal creation). If you prefer $ 40$ for an inescapable horrible experience, that's up to you, but I prefer buying $20 good stuff packs and saving $20 from unnecessary pack rather than making all of them in a single horrible pack and ended up paying $40 which I can tell you, won't worth the price for the imaginary ROM/Paranormal/Crystal creation knowing how small the budget for an expansion pack.
Not everyone has or wants spellcasters in their game. My biggest problem with this is that it seems very light on stuff for a stuff pack price. And I wish there was a larger selection of bundled hobbies as an expansiom pack that they spent like a year on and not a quarter.
Why am I not surprised with the EA laziness. If the damn pack is called Crystal Creations, they could give us Crystal Creations, hair with crystals accessories , clothes and shoes with embroidered crystals, furniture with crystals, light colors glass + crystals, ect
Ngl, I think unlocking male and female styles was a bad idea. Because it just gave the devs an excuse to just design for female sims and then just unlock the style to also be available to male sims as well. Which in the end just enabled laziness with the designs. ETA: OK I'm saying this here because I'm tired of repeating myself. When I said opening up the styles was a mistake and excuse for laziness, I wasn't saying that I have a problem with men being more Fem and women being more Masc. My problem is that many of the meshes end up being broken because they weren't properly converted to fit the gendered rigs. So in the end, you have men's trousers on women that literally break the rig because it wasn't coded properly. There are several sets of trousers that CAN'T BE USED on female sims without there being a massive hole in the crotch, there are male suit jackets that straight up break the hands of female sims when equipped. It's not a matter of sexed clothing, it's a matter of meshes being left broken for years and not being fixed. And on top of that, because the styles are now "open" it gives leeway to allow more femme styles to be created because they're operating under the knowledge of it being open as unisex anyway, which means that male sims get left with less content because everything is just created with Fem in mind in the first place.
Definitely. As a cis woman who has always had a very masculine sense of style, its great that it lets me dress my sim self like I actually would, but it's absolutely decimated the already minimal new content made for male frames.
@@xasalia Yeah because we’re all different people with different opinions. It’s impossible to make everyone happy. So, it’s okay when people complain about things that they want to see differently just as much as people praising something when they like it
@@megankneemd410Same and because they didn't really remesh or retexture the things, I often find myself finding the perfect necklace or shirt, and then it makes my boobs square, or it just hovers above my neck. Maybe they should have hired a secret agent team to sneak in and unlock the male/female styles, without telling any of the people working on new releases, so they wouldn’t know they could be lazy but we could still use everything. Best of both worlds! 🙃
“They even gave kids the butch lesbian haircut” 😂😂😂 As a butch lesbian, cracked me up. I was semi-interested in this stuff pack and then the shopping cart button happened and my money magically found its way back into my pocket.

Honestly every time I bought a new pack I reacted the same way. Now I just discovered his TH-cam Channel and realised for the first time that I was held for a fool 🤣 Can't blame these other TH-camrs. But also can not blame him at all :D Maybe some of us are just veeery hyped up by a little change in this mess of a game 🤌🏼
In the Sims 3 on console you could find crystals and metal, send the crystal to be cut in different shapes, the metal to be melted into bars and the crystals had 2 displays but you didn't have to pay for them.
The 5 dollar "glitch" with Plopsy is because it costs 5 dollars to list the item! You will get a price the person is willing to pay for the item once it sells and it's usually pretty good!
No it's not. I've been playing the pack and I'm able to sell jewelries on plopsy for thousands of simoleons. The 5 simoleons is just the cost to have it listed on plopsy just like how it has always been. You'll receive a notification when an offer to buy comes in then you can ship thru mailbox. It can take days before you receive an offer. Sometimes your listing expires without anyone buying then you can re-list just like in real life. I think Satch just misunderstood the mechanics.
I also don’t think it’s a bug because i played the pack for a while last night and sold everything on plopsy and some jewelry sold for over 2k simoleons. My sim made over 40k and it was all done on plopsy and nothing sold for less than 200
@@alexandradobreva958 the 5 simoleons is what it costs to put it up for sale on Plopsy. I spent the 5 simoleons before on it to sell a few things my sim knitted and got quite a bit of money out of it. The first person that replied underneath your comment was right.
@@vegasa2067 same! Plopsy is actually OP. I've used it to sell paintings & timeless flower arrangements before and it made me so rich. 😂 It's worth the wait to sell things there as long as it's high quality.

Brilliant review, as always. This is a rare pack that looks good enough to consider purchasing right away, but the new shopping cart button just illustrated how little they regard customers that they would rather keep finding new ways to push bugged content rather than fixing the bugs.
Isn't it crazy? EA would rather keep dishing out content rather than fixing the existing content we have for the game.. I have never played a game that's as broken as TS4 in my 20+ years of gaming! WTH?!
Honestly I don't worry about build mode or cas. I only buy what I think will have fun game play I use mostly cc and mods. I haven't bought a pack in a while. I think the last thing I bought was the magic one.
Anyone else think it feels really childish? I wonder what the actual age demographic is for sims 4, in my experience it’s predominantly people in their 20s-30s who play this game and their concepts seem to be getting more and more PG filler content, where as we would enjoy more gameplay like careers, family gameplay etc. more ‘adult’ things to escape our real adult lives.
I’m actually pretty excited about this pack and I appreciate your review! I almost never buy new packs in the same week they release, but I’m downloading this one today!
I'm sorry I know this is not on topic but I open sims4 and there it is, a promotion for dine out WITH Gonz (a social media creator) while the pack is still broken. Like wth😭 Also I love your videos satch
Not sure if it's a big deal or not, but in get famous there is a helmet that you can feed crystals for buffs and also in discover university you can offer crystals to the sprites, so that gem tree is really versatile for me :3
Hoping the next pack is a Band Pack. There was speculation they were preparing for it, and that's what caused the bug with Socials on higher Singing skills.
I love Satch! I been watching for months now but it’s crazy to think that I am hesitant to try newer sim channels. This is the best one. It’s an honest channel and I crack up way too much 😂 definitely want the Sim community to support Satch more. Great video! I like the idea but the realm of magic items don’t feel right. I already have that lol
8:44 I’ve been thinking for ages about a reptile room stuff pack. I know frogs are technically an amphibian but honestly I feel like they have so many similarities to reptiles they can chill in a reptile room if they wanted to.
You're so genuine and you absolutely love what you do and it shows in your work. Don't ever feel like you have to defend yourself. People these days will find anything to be offended about. You have grown a real fan base and we all respect and love you. ❤
I think recent stuff packs are the only great packs to buy. Although those cost 10$ each. I really recommend to buy new stuff packs. ( Starting with paranormal ) .
Same. At this point I got all the expansions I wanted. You won't catch me with any of the new broken expansions or the Starwars pack. But the newer stuff packs are interesting.
The items returning is a bug that's been around a long time, which has been the bane of those who have tried to sell things like written books in their shops. The work around is you have to put the items in the household inventory at your house before placing it in your shop (yes you actually need to load into the shop for the workaround to work). Oh you can already eat frogs as they are ingredients in one of the cooking recipes.
This might be a hot take but I don’t mind when packs have similar build buy/cas if the gameplay of the pack is different enough. Like I would get crystal creations but I wouldn’t get realm of magic because I like more grounded gameplay so it’s nice for me to have those style of objects still. Where it’s more egregious is if the pack could’ve been one, off the top of my head I think people complained about that with cottage living and horse ranch, those cater to people with similar gameplay styles so it’s worse
Yeah people are connecting dots I can't see. I have my computer room and bathroom decorated a lot like this aesthetic IRL - it's just called 'whimsigoth' aesthetic. It has nothing to do with being a witch, just because it has stars and moons. And real people collect crystals and believe they have mystical properties... and it has nothing to do with being a Harry Potter wizard, like in RoM, lmao.
I think people see the crystals as being part of RoM because the gameplay feels a bit magical. Like I immediately thought of how well crystals would pair with a potion making alchemist. So instead of casting spells, you have a character imbue items with their magic. But at least it's not as egregious as Horse Ranch and Cottage Living. Like those could have 100 percent been one pack or something. The mini goats and wine-making especially make me think that. But I think this being a stuff pack lets it slide slightly since it's not overshadowing a $40 pack, you know?
If the only glitch you found was the items being put back in the inventory and being able to sell on plopsy something being worn, then they are doing a pretty good job. I still say that the thing they used to say about playing the game all the time at work is no longer being done or they would have found and fixed a lot of these glitches because they are experiencing them.
Maybe they will make a collections crafter pack and just figure out a use for all collectibles in game to be turned into random objects or decor with functions or emotional auras
So, Get to Work. It’s not just jewelry, it’s also books. My friend tried to sell written books at a store and the books all went to her inventory when she left. Similarly, I gave Caleb Vatore “the Oddity Shop” and in addition to werewolf stuff and paranormal stuff out of debug, I tried to sell plasma packs and vampire tomes he bought off the computer and no bueno. It also returned to our inventory when we left the shop. If you buy vampire tomes out of debug they work in a store, ditto plasma packs, but I hear you can’t do that with jewelry. (Other Sim-crafted things like bathtubs are fine? Is it only things added after get to work that are broken?)
I agree with most of your points! The CAS misses a lot and the BB is okay. But I really don't mind the pack being "on its own", I am looking forward to play with this alone and feel very represented in this theme. I use crystals more or less in my daily life, and don't need it to be conneced/intertwined with an occult pack. Thanks for your brutal honesty tho, and for inspireing to be so as well!
Is it cashgrabby? Yes. Should it have been a part of realm of magic? Yes. Is it far from perfect? Definitely Did I buy the pack without thinking because is right up my alley when it comes to gameplay? Absolutely edhjhgkt Great review as always!

The book shelf is nice but I feel like it should have been in the book shelf kit, which as for as I know, didn't come with a book shelf that has a ladder.
As someone who’s took a fine art course in the same small cozy old college building as a very interesting and uncommon practice in colleges, I guess , we had a jewellery program and if we wanted it our fine art program could Learn ,even though, during the pandemic, we couldn’t do it we could cross over of the metal working program, under the same department and sub programs but we didn’t go to use metal work. And having the same building, fellow students and staff and talking to them at lunch or something, at least 5 to 6 rooms dedicated to their program not including our specific program rooms that they might use. So that kinda tells you a lot of objects, big working spaces and safety equipment and we don’t even have a forge in this game or like a decor forge… i’ll be funny if they called it curseforge or I mediaeval Sims pun or Sims three or something reference. I do agree like they should give us more than like glass or ceramics or like making furniture and I don’t get how they can’t just add a clay element to this and maybe update the crafting wood table.. in real life it’s a lot more crystal metal work than just a table. They should’ve also gave us hazmat suits or some type of industry protection like a masks or something and a toxic death or something because working with medals your entire life without protection you will probably get some illness…. I mean if you’re working with heavy metals in crystals mining dust, just making oil paints out of certain ingredients is a life sentence to same thing as spray paint… a couple projects we had to do. Yeah, you need to fall on protection sometimes. at least they try to integrate it with like nipping hitting a lot bit but not enough I do agree the shoes are horrendous and they have shown how they could’ve looked a lot better. What do you expect this point? With Ea and the game… Honestly, I would be open for Sims three rehashed like pack of some of the best things. Number one is definitely that is that one all in one washroom , 2 some the of the hobbies.. 3 working a little bit at least working elevators, or teleporters spawners, And spiral staircases or staircases that take a lot less space that pets and younger kids could use…
Toddlers can go up and down the stairs just fine. If you want infants and puppies going up and down stairs, then I find it ironic that you go on a tangent about safety in industries, yet also wish to send puppies and infants to their graves by having them able to use stairs. Infants and puppies need baby gates for a reason. XD
@@wickywickyjoka I met the elevators and city living kids and pets can’t really use it so like in some street, they can use it stairs and I never said infants or like toddlers but like I’m saying that they can’t use a latter and sometimes the big stairs are a bit bulky where is the spiral stairs in the cemetery and whatever only four tiles. my two discussions are two different things ones about the crystal pack, gems and metals and mining. It’s not known that you can get diseases and cancer from it. I mean my program about the risk of using certain materials and forging in certain paints or chemicals, in mystery wishes, because I was thinking, be nice if they could give us some things from the sims 3 or 2 more activity wise, but like the useful stuff. I’m not referring to the safety of the toddlers and infants, even though you can’t really teleport with them or in symptoms, you can teleport them to the same or something or but like I’m talking about like realm of magic or whatever you can’t naturally, take them a with you, they could’ve gave us a stroller or something better I mean, I know they have the carrying thing for the babies but still.. and I mean, there is a baby barbeque mod soooo…😂😂😂🫠

I disagree with the "This pack is an add-on to Realm of Magic" declaration. Sure it has a similar vibe, but in no way does it match the furnishing style of RoM like how My First Pets Stuff LITERALLY had items that should've been included in Cats and Dogs and you need Cats and Dogs for half of the stuff to work. This pack, while still lacking in some areas, is stand alone. I will say though, that CAS is an utter failure. Not only is it barely Dark Academia (as they said they drew inspo from) but there isn't enough and it's boring! I'm so sick of sweaters and I hate that I can't dress my infants-children in anything. Like a little dress and a tweed vested outfit would've been perfect! There should've been more tweed and vests and blazers for everyone!
Tbh this is a stuff pack I might actually buy. I dont care much about the CAS but making, buying and selling your own jewlery sounds like it will be fun.
The items going back into inventory thing has always existed. If you take any of the personal sales items (flea market or jungle tables, gallery, food stands etc...) and set it up on your retail lot, and do not physically set the items for sale individually and place them outside of those sale tables, the game sees them as your loose personal items and places them along with the tables in your inventory when you leave. It will happen with the books you place on the GTW book display in your store EVEN IF you mark them for sale after placing them. This also happens with other items on other lots, i.e. Vacation rentals will return your tents, game tables, etc to you when leaving, and books of all sorts return to you from all sorts of lots.
are there any cross pack features for supernatural sims? for example a ring that can save your wampire Sim from burning in the sun (the vampire diaries vibes 😂) or when you have a werewolf Sim to make the the fury lever stop or go up slower?
Thank you for taking the time to review these packs. I have been watching your channel for a while and love your reviews. It has helped me to decide on whether I want to add a pack to my game or not. There are so many packs, kits, expansions these days, I have to be a lot more picky with what I want. Loading times seem to increase the more you add on to the game it seems, at least for me. I am going to give Crystal Creations a pass - not enough in build mode to warrant spending the money as I mostly like to build with some gameplay in between.
Thank you for your honest review. I'm actually probably gonna get it after watching you do it. Because I was worried to skin your broken... I actually love the build mode. I wanted something like this when we got real with magic. Some kind of excited about it..... Besides that, the crystal shoes are so cursed. I think they just need less crystals on the ankle and they'd actually be kind of cool😅🤣
Unless its been updated, the crystal/metal spawners are related to the gardening. So if you go to another neighborhood and get all the crystals/metals and think "Hmm I got a good haul there I'll go back" then unless you get there before 5am for spawning to trigger then there are not going to be more. Again this could have been fixed/adjusted/changed and I am unaware of it, but that was the problem I was having when playing with crystals/metals before and why I didn't play with them very much.
I really like the game play and all the powers that the jewelry can have when it’s charged. The CAS on the other hand was quite pitiful. You also mentioned that crystal spawns are hard to find and whereas that may be true you can easily make a crystal seed, wait ages for it to grow but once it does it’ll be worth it. You get quite a bit of crystals from the tree.
As someone who doesn’t have realm of magic (bc I was told it wasn’t worth it) I feel like crystal creations would totally be worth (“worth”) purchasing on sale Like I’m so excited for the crystal perks play it’s almost op
plopsy isnt a bug, it costs $5 to list anything on there. after a few days you should get an offer and its typically wayyyyyy marked up compared to selling straight from the inventory. if nobody wants to buy it after a week the listing will expire, you can put it back up for sale for another $5 or sell it another way.
my game has been unplayable after the update. I don't have a powerful computer, but before the update I could play without issues and with mods. Now there are no mods and I've just updated my drivers, all other games are running better... then ts4
Yeah, a bunch of households in my game are not able to load in, they just get the endless loading screen. Answers HQ helped, but I’m still having trouble with at least 2 households. (I have over 30 in that save file, so it takes a while to troubleshoot them all.)
I'm so glad I found your reviews. As a gay man I absolutely love your honesty after seeing other reviews. I'm the person who has only base game, realm of magic, vampires, and paranormal so this pack does fit my style. I agree that this pack would have been a nice addition to realm of magic.
I disagree with calling it RoM scraps or whatever. It's similar, but I don't think it's fair to say that it's the same or that it should all have been included. The BB items are mostly in a different style, the only one I could say is close is the mirror. RoM is extremely Art Nouveau, which I personally love but it doesn't work well with a lot of the other items in TS4. Crystal Creations is much more modern and "dark academia". The gameplay supports each other, but it's not like it relies on the other one. You could have a witch who likes crystals, but you can also have a regular Sim who makes jewellery. You don't need both packs to experience all the gameplay Crystal Creations has. RoM leans much more into the "practical" magic side of things and there isn't much with regards to the "spiritual" magic. This is all "spiritual" magic and little "practical" magic, if you get my drift. Having packs that work well together is good imo and I don't think TS4 should be discouraged from releasing packs that work together, nor do I think that everything remotely related to each other should be in one giant EP. I am not an EA stan and I don't want to defend EA/TS4 but I think it's fine. If they released something that was completely new and didn't work with anything in the game, people would be upset. If they release something that works with items/gameplay already in the game, people get upset. There's always something wrong. I would rather have certain styles and hobbies/lifestyles get more fleshed out in multiple packs than have them just dump a massive broken, glitchy pack full of half arsed ~witchy~ stuff (this is TS4 we're talking about), especially as someone who loves this kind of gameplay. Not every pack is for every player, and if you don't like the witchy stuff, then maybe this isn't for you. But it's not just witchy stuff, it's also jewellery making, and the witchy stuff can be accessed by any Sim, not just witches. I think that's enough to justify it being different from RoM. Again, I'm not trying to be an EA stan defender or whatever, but this is the kind of pack I really like as someone who likes the style and theme, and also as someone who makes jewellery occasionally. It feels like people are willing to dismiss it because it can work well with another pack which is just ??? I mean, good??? I am glad they made sure it would have cross pack compatibility because they don't always remember that packs exist after they've released them. Imagine if they released this pack and it couldn't work with anything else, it had nothing in common with any other pack, that would be even worse imo. Especially as RoM has such a distinctive style that doesn't work with a lot of other items in the game. These items are close enough that they'll work, but not in the same stylised Art Nouveau style (which I love but it is really difficult in the Sims where everything is Mid Century Modern) so it'll work with lots of different styles. This is way too much stuff for a pack refresh, especially since they said they're not doing them anymore. A pack refresh may have just come with the crystal charging gameplay at best, certainly not the jewellery making which I think is the most interesting and different part. Anyway feel free to call me a shill or whatever but I feel like people are being unreasonable about this pack. It's not treading on brand new ground, but nothing the Sims does is going to because it's 20+ years old at this point and they've done basically everything, especially TS4 because it's been out for a decade now. I think it could maybe have been a GP instead of a SP but I quite like that they've brought back SPs to focus more specifically on gameplay. It would have been nice to have more items in a GP but I think they created a nice selection of items that work with the idea and nothing extra than that. The CAS is very much my style but I do agree it's a bit lacklustre. As a lesbian, I immediately thought that the short hair was lesbian hair, like the amount of lesbians I've seen with that hair is enough that I can now instantly gauge someone's sexuality from it. Usually.
Also... don't you think they "got inspired" by the crafting flowers mechanics that Life by You has shown us those last months? and suddenly after long period not having any crafting-specific-pack in the sims... we got one... maybe coincidence?
I'm a mostly basegame player, and I feel like this one has a far bit of value (mayby like $5) because of mostly of the sales table included in with everything. I'm meh on the style but having a new hobby table and a sales table is great. And ofc it's buggy so I'm going to wait for a sale if I'm not sucked into the other life sim games by then

but if they hadnt done that, y’all would still complain
@@xasalia Yeah because we’re all different people with different opinions. It’s impossible to make everyone happy. So, it’s okay when people complain about things that they want to see differently just as much as people praising something when they like it
@@megankneemd410Same and because they didn't really remesh or retexture the things, I often find myself finding the perfect necklace or shirt, and then it makes my boobs square, or it just hovers above my neck. They should have just made everything on a unisex frame from the beginning, then they could have incorporated a better morph maker.
Maybe they should have hired a secret agent team to sneak in and unlock the male/female styles, without telling any of the people working on new releases, so they wouldn’t know they could be lazy but we could still use everything. Best of both worlds! 🙃
I just want Crystal Meth Creations 😢
Just gotta wait for Basemental….😢
Lmao! Love! 😆
Me too
😂🤣 Basemental will fix it

“They even gave kids the butch lesbian haircut” 😂😂😂 As a butch lesbian, cracked me up.
I was semi-interested in this stuff pack and then the shopping cart button happened and my money magically found its way back into my pocket.
yeah same, i actually wanted this pack but im not purchasing anything before they remove that goddamn shopping cart button.
SAME. Was gonna be my first buy at launch then I got the shopping cart and was like 😐 nvm
Ya... That and for rent being a mess was the last straw for me and I will no longer give them my money.
I know what were they thinking?! And now before you can even PLAY you need to click on the shopping cart. Honestly they’re just annoying
Yarrr! 🏴☠️
I love your honest reviews; unlike other Sims TH-camrs, you share your own opinion. I'm sick of those reviews that are just full of 'Absolutely mind-blowing!' 'This changes everything!' 'Best pack ever, hands down!' 'I'm obsessed!' 'Can't live without it!' etc."
😘

What if they actually like it though?
@@g.e131 lmao the shade 💀
Honestly every time I bought a new pack I reacted the same way. Now I just discovered his TH-cam Channel and realised for the first time that I was held for a fool 🤣 Can't blame these other TH-camrs. But also can not blame him at all :D Maybe some of us are just veeery hyped up by a little change in this mess of a game 🤌🏼
In the Sims 3 on console you could find crystals and metal, send the crystal to be cut in different shapes, the metal to be melted into bars and the crystals had 2 displays but you didn't have to pay for them.
You can do that on PC as well. The supernatural expansion also added a gem cutting machine and a hidden skill to cut them yourself
That is a good point about the spawners in newer worlds. They absolutely can update existing worlds, they did it for Seasons.
The 5 dollar "glitch" with Plopsy is because it costs 5 dollars to list the item! You will get a price the person is willing to pay for the item once it sells and it's usually pretty good!
He can not “sell it for any more than 5 dollars” as he said. Which means those 5$ ain’t actually the listing bill. :/ so ye… it’s a bug

When finally EA will start doing quality shoes that would be CC shoes quality 😭 they are all outrageous in comparision to eg. jius shoues
The feet always look so long, and anything with a chunky heel just distorts the foot XD at this point EA just collab with a Simmer and give me a shoe kit please
Yes, Jius literally has the best shoes along with Madlen. Almost all of my cc shoes are from them
That’s because nothing but old heads work at EA and they don’t have fashion habits.
8:42 you can already mix breed frogs and also yes, eat them (boiling frog hot pot)
Wait seriously? I had no clue
"List the item while you're wearing it", the true instagram thrifting experience!
You can eat frogs Satch! Have a frog in your inventory when you’re going to cook and you can make frog dishes🐸
I also wish male sims had more masculine clothing options available.
Subtitle be like... "This is my Bruce Lee honest review..." im like 😶🙂😂
I notice that all the time with these, haha
Brilliant review, as always. This is a rare pack that looks good enough to consider purchasing right away, but the new shopping cart button just illustrated how little they regard customers that they would rather keep finding new ways to push bugged content rather than fixing the bugs.
Isn't it crazy? EA would rather keep dishing out content rather than fixing the existing content we have for the game.. I have never played a game that's as broken as TS4 in my 20+ years of gaming! WTH?!
Tempted by glittery gems but ... wait, this isn't a kit!? Oh.
Honestly I don't worry about build mode or cas. I only buy what I think will have fun game play I use mostly cc and mods. I haven't bought a pack in a while. I think the last thing I bought was the magic one.
I always wait for the Satch review! Glad to hear this pack has a lot of gameplay, and that they went deeper than just tweaking moodlets.
Same! I bought it yesterday and im really excited to incorporate it into like a witchy cottage idea I've been playing around with!
I'm sorry I know this is not on topic but I open sims4 and there it is, a promotion for dine out WITH Gonz (a social media creator) while the pack is still broken. Like wth😭
Also I love your videos satch
They’re wrong for that😭
Not sure if it's a big deal or not, but in get famous there is a helmet that you can feed crystals for buffs and also in discover university you can offer crystals to the sprites, so that gem tree is really versatile for me :3
Hoping the next pack is a Band Pack. There was speculation they were preparing for it, and that's what caused the bug with Socials on higher Singing skills.
That would be great. I hate how singing skill has no cross pack compatibility unlike the other musical hobbies
4:20 my first realm of magic stuff 💀💀
Never make my mind up until I've watched Your Brutally Honest Review!
The past 2 (Homechef and Paranormal) are among the best packs honestly... Not overly expensive and has some neat and generally functional gameplay
I usually wait for sales if I want a pack, but I haven't had the urge to give EA any more of my money recently...
Same. At this point I got all the expansions I wanted. You won't catch me with any of the new broken expansions or the Starwars pack. But the newer stuff packs are interesting.
This is the only channel I have found that advocates for men fashion, thank you.
When you read some of the jewelry descriptions, you will realise that it is indeed a part of realm of magic.

I would have loved a crystal clock for the wall.
I have been waiting for your review! I just cant trust any other review anymore lol
Thank you!!
Ohhh I´ve been waiting for this, finallyyyy
Had to laugh when I saw the option to “skip the entire video” at 10:53 😂
This might be a hot take but I don’t mind when packs have similar build buy/cas if the gameplay of the pack is different enough.
9:16 This is what I've been saying! I'm very disappointed they didn't add new spawners for this, but not at all surprised.
Lowkey sad that I can’t make my pets collars or jewelry
Maybe they will make a collections crafter pack and just figure out a use for all collectibles in game to be turned into random objects or decor with functions or emotional auras
Great review Satch. I just bought this the other day. I really liked it.
I think the crystal slippers are great in a campy way, thanks for the review!
Been waiting for your review, can’t wait to watch this
So, Get to Work.
I love how everyone is reviewing this pack like they’re game isn’t broken glitchy and frozen
Is it cashgrabby? Yes.
Should it have been a part of realm of magic? Yes.
Is it far from perfect? Definitely
Did I buy the pack without thinking because is right up my alley when it comes to gameplay? Absolutely edhjhgkt
Great review as always!
I played this last night and it was fun for the first maybe 30 minutes…then it got bored quick!

The book shelf is nice but I feel like it should have been in the book shelf kit, which as for as I know, didn't come with a book shelf that has a ladder.
My point is, when designing BB objects/ cas items, they always give us 80% and sell us the other 20% in an "upcoming excited new expansion"
With Ea and the game…
Honestly, I would be open for Sims three rehashed like pack of some of the best things.
@@wickywickyjoka hello I kind of low-key don’t mind if you could make a psychopathic dogs and horses in the Sims four/with sacrificial’s extreme violence mod…
Satch please stop feeling like you have to defend yourself. You are so real and i really appreciate it. There will always be someone who has to be offended and it breeds fear, sometimes it feels like noone can have an opinion at all anymore so your channel is a true breath of fresh air
I’ve given up hope that the sims team will ever glance at men’s wear to see what men actually wear
“…You can only sell them for 5 Simoleans…” Nah that’s too funny all I can think of is the mlm Paparzzzi and their $5 jewelry 😂
0:37 Honestly, a "Mist of Hintery" is a pretty accurate way to describe the game now.
are there any cross pack features for supernatural sims? for example a ring that can save your wampire Sim from burning in the sun (the vampire diaries vibes 😂) or when you have a werewolf Sim to make the the fury lever stop or go up slower?
Omg that would have been an amazing idea!!!
When he said cut gems I instantly thought of “uncut jamms” Julia fox 😭
I know missed opportunity there lol 😂
1:26 this whole part 😂 We already know the packs are bad but your content is A+
Thank you for taking the time to review these packs.
I so enjoy your videos. You make me laugh. Love your attitude!
This could’ve been in a hobbies expansion honestly
I don’t personally see this pack advancing the game much at all but I’m here for the review!
Let's be real...EA *always* fucks over their masucline Sims.
OMG, was waiting for you to release this! Thanks
Definitely feels like content that could've been a Realm of Magic refresh. I still think they stopped doing refreshes just to sell them as paid DLC.
EA never ceases to disappoint. It's been years since I last purchased a pack full price
ur shoe rating was really generous wow
The glitch where the items return to inventory from the shop happens with crafted robotics as well.
i like it, i havent used the affects of all the different creations yet i look forward to that!
I look forward to your honest reviews. Tyvm!!
As someone who doesn’t have realm of magic (bc I was told it wasn’t worth it) I feel like crystal creations would totally be worth (“worth”) purchasing on sale
Like I’m so excited for the crystal perks play it’s almost op
plopsy isnt a bug, it costs $5 to list anything on there. after a few days you should get an offer and its typically wayyyyyy marked up compared to selling straight from the inventory. if nobody wants to buy it after a week the listing will expire, you can put it back up for sale for another $5 or sell it another way.
Omg I laughed all the way through this review, Satch, I love your vids
my game has been unplayable after the update.
I agree that this pack would have been a nice addition to realm of magic.
they gave so little but i just love the vibe of the build mode stuff omgg
Thank you for the butch lesbian holla! I love them too ❤❤❤
I hope we get another occult pack this year.
Usually.
It's a Kit worth amount of stuff, though I agree with 7/10. But selling packs as the next higher tier seems to be the new normal.
Also... don't you think they "got inspired" by the crafting flowers mechanics that Life by You has shown us those last months? and suddenly after long period not having any crafting-specific-pack in the sims... we got one... maybe coincidence?
You reaffirmed my nah to this pack so ty
Lol, the eyeball ring
Another free update. Incredible!
Right satch now for some unhinged shanice shanice gameplay of the pack pleaseeeeee
This actually looks pretty fun. I'm not buying it except on a deep discount, but it feels like something actually meaningful.
It seems like scientist career would pair well with jewelry hobby.
