@@LMGSvideosHe's got hundreds of videos like this. When he was on his 3 year road trip; when he did Route 66. Those are just some. Large Marge videos were GREAT.
That's why so many people who live therecarry guns everywhere they go. Fun fact it's also very very safe there with everyone armed. The rest of the country could learn something from Alaskan citizens.
ADAM. I made that same trip going over to Whittier four times but by a train I loved it once got to Whittier took a boat out to see glaciers stayed some time in Whittier. Nothing to do, but it’s unbelievable to see that it was used during the war And most of its empty, but had lunch there. It was pretty good. The train is fantastic to go along through the tunnel and through the mountains I know you’re enjoying it. You enjoyed it. We did another time took a cruise from Ontario and it ended in Whittier and had to take a bus back through the tunnel and out to Anchorage. It’s great to see it through your eyes. Thank you. Brings back memories.
My Dad worked on building the town of Whittier as a carpenter in the days before WWII when the military defensive build up was happening all over Alaska getting ready for the war. Before they started letting cars drive through the tunnel, you would drive your car onto flatbed rail cars and sit in your car as the train brought you through the tunnel. So cool that you made time to check out Whittier Adam! Well done! Now we are ready for the next stop! ❤
Interesting story of how one would drive onto the flatbed rail car and sit in your car, as the train drove you through the tunnel. Thanks for sharing this information with us.
Dude! I love hearing the excitement in your voice. It really comes through on the videos. Makes us all happy to be included. I really appreciate you sharing. Safe travels, Good Sir. All the best!
Adam, it’s truly been enjoyable to watch the last couple days. The giddiness and enthusiasm in your voice at almost everything you’re coming across in Alaska has been infectious! Hope you’re having the time of your life!
These vlogs are so different to anything you’ve ever done, love them, scenery is amazing, the tunnel pretty scary, the weather cold, very cold 😁 Thankyou
The location is a little different, but the style is just like his Route 66 videos, and almost all of his videos when he was on the road for 3 years straight.
If this is a sign of how the international videos are going to be we can’t wait to see them!! Awesome footage and content, just do your coat up, it’s making us feel cold!!!!😂👍
That tunnel was scary to me. I thought the Pennsylvania Turnpike Tunnels were scary. Thanks for showing us so many towns and things. I will never get to visit Alaska but love your videos. Thanks so much. Cate Nadine.
I talked to people of traveled on organized trips to Alaska and none have been as good as what the Woo has experienced. Most take a cruise on a large cruise liner with fancy restaurants and casinos and all that. They have left from Seward and been of course very comfortable. By the way, when Alaska was bought from Russia it was called Seward's Folly, because at the time most thought it was a waste of money.
@PaulsWildlife66 Nope ! I just like watching where he goes and what he does besides the theme parks. I'm sorry for you if it puts a smile on my face while watching people do what they like to do.
It feels like everyone left Alaska and headed south for the winter. Can’t imagine living there year round and enduring the cold dreary winter. Love how excited you are though to see the sights.
We went to Alaska in 1990. We had 2 weeks on land, cruise ship and train. Fabulous trip.! Our bus went up on the train and we got on our cruise ship at Whittier. Try doing this trip the end of June! We went by train from Ancorage to Denali, stayed over night and on to Fairbanks. Such an experience. The weather was sunny, warm, and in is only dark for a few hours. Scenery fabulous. It is interesting to see how it is this time of year! Have fun, I really enjoy your adventures.
What an epic journey Adam. This is the kind of excursion I love. Whittier looks like my kind of town. A place stuck in time and a true treasure. The snow just adds to the ambience. Loving the Alaska adventure so far
Adam - You go to so many places I probably never will, but you make it feel like I’m along for the journey. It really is the next best thing to being there. Thank you, and happy/safe travels.
I really appreciate how you take time to appreciate the small details like the snow on the car window. I went to Alaska with my grandmother 10 years ago, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Cheers
As much as I love your daily adventures at home, I truly love your travel vlogs. It’s like seeing the country without leaving home. This trip is amazing. I grew up in Michigan so am familiar with the snow and weather but todays vid is really cool. The trip through the Mtn. Unbelievable, the question now is “can you find someplace to eat???? Lol. Thank you for taking us with you👍🤗
Have loved watching you explore our beautiful country for years. Thank you for this breathtaking series before beginning your international expedition. TDW forever!
Adam, stay warm there buddy! I can't believe that one of my favorite vloggers from the warm U.S. States decides to go to Alaska, while my favorite Family from Alaska who I love decided to show a weeks worth of cruising off the coast of Mexico. I love it, a taste of a new experience for both channels! Thinking of you, and praying for your warmth & safety!!! Enjoy! 👍👍
Thank you so much for this tour. Whittier is a town I’ve always wanted to visit but will not have the opportunity. Yours is the most informative tour of the town I have seen. I especially enjoy seeing the town in the off season, to better understand what the year-round residents experience. Much appreciated. Safe travels.
Love your enthusiasm and excitement for this adventure! Enjoying my piping hot caffeinated beverage with you this morning, and its cozier and more fun watching it in the snow with you! 😊
Getting to the tunnel early worked well! Really cool shot driving through with no car in front! The idea of everyone living in that one building makes me think of children's books where all the characters live in different parts of the same tree or something 😄 Always love it when there's big snowflakes coming down, the gentle tapping of them hitting the window 😊 The view next to the water when the sun came through a little, was gorgeous! Love that you were eating your fish like a big chicken nugget lol 😄 I love fish n chips! And tartar sauce! Haven't had it wrapped up in paper by the seaside in ages! ''A little snowfall, a little mountain range, a little buffalo'' lol! 😊
One of your better posts..Can’t wait for you to go to Hawai’i….Maybe after that you can tackle Europe. For those of us who can’t afford to go. We live our experiences through you. Great post friend.
Photographs from that time are amazing what the men went through in search of gold. As the old saying goes, the ones that made money were those who sold the men supplies for their trips.
Adam, the snow makes Alaska look absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! Really enjoyed your video. So aw awesome and cool to see that Alaska was your last and 50th state! That was a cool tunnel you went through! Now, I want some fish. So many beautiful views. Looking forward to your next vlog.
I'm so happy you visited Whittier! I've always wanted to go! Speaking of tunnels being shared with cars and trains - the CSX Rice Yard in Waycross, Georgia has a (very small) tunnel like that near the locomotive shops. Used to freak me out when I'd ride through with my dad!
In moose pass when you said the water wheel is no longer turning the water for some reason made us laugh. 😆 Great to see you branching out even more in your videos. Keep it up! 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲 🎼
Very different Seward than what we saw in August when visiting from Australia - boarding a cruise ship. Was vibrant, bustling, people going about their days. We saw otters playing! Great shops, good food, great happy service.

Whittier Alaska, we were there in 2006 for a carnival Alaska cruise. That town was in the clouds. Good video, brought back memories
