Let me know what you this about this laptop. I feel this is a great value proposition for those that don't want to break the bank but don't want to skimp on some high end features. Let me know what you think.
Fantastic review as always! I was wondering if you could compare the performance to the Spectre x360 16, with the same core ultra 7 CPU but with RTX 4050 graphics. I'm really looking to buy this laptop, but I've heard some performance issues; looking to see how it compares with other laptops such as this one
I replaced my old photo editing desktop beast with this since I found it as an open box deal for $795. I upgraded the RAM to 40 gb for $71 and added a 4tb data M.2 drive for $300. This thing rocks.
The Asus VivoBook Pro 15 OLED for the base price of $1049.99 on sale at Best Buy is a pretty good one most suitable for a student or someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a decent laptop. Obviously, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but at this price point, it's a good value in my opinion. It will not break the bank at the end of the day and that is the key here. Great review Andrew!! 👍😁
Just got the Zenbook 14 with a RTX 3050 45w. It beats the GTX 1060 6GB laptop I had before and is a massive efficiency upgrade. With ray tracing off, it it pretty much somewhere in between a GTX 1060 and a GTX 1660.
Just priced matched this laptop. Micro Center had this laptop on sale for 899$ I got it brand new for 899$ at Best Buy from price matching. The original price was 1,300$. What an absolute bargain! I love OLED and this laptop was cheaper than my Acer Predator. Can’t wait to get my hands on this and play Minecraft Java and watching TH-cam Videos on this too. I’m returning my Zenbook 14 OLED, 15.6 inch laptop’s feel much more comfortable on my lap because I’m a bigger guy.
@@zeiadabdelrahman5924 I opted for another laptop outside of the ZenBook and Vivobook - Lenovo LOQ. Was afraid of the OLED burn in despite being really careful of my things. The Lenovo just ticked more of the things I wanted over the ZenBook/Vivobook

Nice laptop. Camera and mics were good. Speakers sounded okay. Display good. Overall very good value for what you get especially when it is on sale. Keyboard is okay although the design of the numpad is poor. Asus should redesign it or remove it as in its current layout not very practical. Like the upgradeability options with this. Another excellent review from an excellent reviewer.
if undervolt 3050 - good laptop. it can perform on 650mV. by default nvidia settings 900mV. on my laptop with 1660ti with undervolt i can play even on battery without big fps drop and low noise level.
I really want this laptop it's perfect in terms of specs but the OLED is bad in my instance where I was planning on using this for music production. The chance of burn in would be really high unfortunately.
Hi Andrew! Do you plan to make a review of the new MSI stealth 16 AI studio A1V (2024)? A lot of people are considering this laptop as an alternative to the new Zephyrus g16 because of its fan noise. Then, it would be really helpful since there are currently no solid reviews thereof. Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
The screen resolution is low for 2024. I would like to have a 2560-by-1440 IPS over this OLED. (Probably cost prohibits the use of a 2560-by-1440 OLED.) Asus is pushing OLED too hard even when it doesn’t make sense.

The chance of burn in is 0.1 percent at present. Its a good laptop. If you fear of burn in use asus app you will be ok.
Only problem is a dedicated 100watt gpu like 4050/4060 on a laptop. Battery will last 1-2 hours lol
How is this for programming?
Very similar to the Q540 Model, 13900H, 16 DDR5 4800, a better screen Oled 120hz 2880x1620, 2 nvme ports, 1 slot for RAM, same GPU 3050 6gb
