Hi i just bought one similar but i have problem with temperature 51-52 degrees with out app running and working in most of the time only gpu fan and feel slow compared with my old first vivobook pro 15 2021. Old mode ssd crucial p5 plus 2tb, new vivobook pro m5690m the originally ssd wd pc sn560 1TB and it's feels slow 4X more core Processor and ddr5 ram conpare with old one with ddr4. What is your recommendation please to replace ssd with better one. Samsung 990 pro?
Few days back I recieved mine equipped with 185h, rtx 4060 and 24GB ram. In general the laptop is very good but it doesnt feel premium since this series is budget friendly and provides great value no one else provide features vs. price! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laptop that can serve you well in any department. You. Can use it for content creation or gaming or development! ❤ I lile it.
i bought the version with the i9 and 24gb ram. it's pretty good. i use it mainly for coding in R studio and also for general web surfing and it's pretty good. very nice display as well. battery is a little over 6 hours on full charge.

For a regular home laptop for social use, personal banking and some microsoft office use does a intel core 7 vs 9 make a difference? Also exterior monitors will be used. Thank you good review

As if I haven't heard more similar reviews, but now there is some caution about this laptop :(. It is also a shame that the lower part is not metal, but the price would be much higher in this case
I am using that laptop for gaming it is a beast with charging on it can run any game smoothly I one time over run is for sixteen hour straight and it is good, but on battery it is kinda not smooth in game but it’s still better than normal gaming laptop

I went to best buy today to view this laptop and I was so disappointed that the design is different from the Canada one. The specs are the same but that simple design the canada version has is way prettier imo!
Are you sure that you can really set the monitor to 120hz in the native maximum resolution? Some forum messages seem to indicate it's maxed out at 60hz at max resolution and that you'd need to set resolution to 1080p in order to reach 120hz... (those "reviews" might have been about older models)

The probably is a 4070 model but I can't find it anywhere. The integrated graphics will be some form of Arc mobile graphics. It does indeed have a MUX switch and I would expect the USB-PD capable ports to be able to charge the laptop.

I got it today, and battery life is very dissapointing. IMO, you'll be lucky to hit 4 hours on battery but I have battery care on where I limit it to 80% and charge at 20

Great question, while the laptop has not been out yet long enough to give a trus response to your question, the OLED panel installed here seems pretty reliable to me.
I bought this laptop, it has two major issues, which is the heat. the laptop gets really warm even on idle and the battery runs out really fast, unless you turn off the GPU.
In the UK, you can get last year's AMD model for £699, so I am not sure I would pay nearly double the price for the Intel version. In fact, I would not buy an Ultra Core 2024 chip as they are a gap-year chip.
Asus manufactures one of the best laptops which turn out to contain the Asus support POISON. I could've bought the Zenbook S16, but I didn't. Please everyone, be aware of Asus's poisonous support. They intentionally state the warranty period. Better go with Lenovo generally or HP for their Spectre series or Envy 16.

In the EU the Asus support has been great. Think it's a USA issue? Never had a problem - even by returning products.
