I'm having this same problem with my 03 G Sedan. Although when i went to check the radiator fans to see if one of them is not working, i discovered there is only one fan. Is that how the 03 models came from factory?
one fan? i never saw a VQ fan assembly with only one fan until i googled it and some dude was complaining about overheating.. if u order from rockauto.com, they r really good with returns and making sure u have the correct part for ur car.. i'm sure u could continue with a single fan setup, but if it proves compatible, it may be good to swap it to the dual fan setup. maybe check ur owners manual to see if they have a diagram for ur radiator fans. that should let u know the stock design. i'm curious myself..
Does the fans effect the ac in anyway? Bc mines dont work and the ac only works when then car js running , and when the sun is out and its super hot my ac blows out hot air
good question.. well.. yes, but the fans aren't crucial for cold air. it sounds like you may be low in Freon[refrigerant]. you might want to have that filled by a technician, so they can inspect the A/C unit while they're at it
The fans automatically come on when the AC is turned on, it not only cools the radiator but blows air through the AC condenser which dissipates the heat from the refrigerant thus making the AC work more efficiently, the same principle that a home as unit works on, there is an inside fan that blow the cool air into the room then an outside fan that blows across the condenser, when driving down the highway there is sufficient air flow through the radiator and condenser to cool it but when you are stopped the fans do the cooling.
So my car doesn't overheat. What sounds like is happening, one fan turns on and sounds ok. Then the second one turns on and its loud. Noticed that when idle, its quite, but every now and then the second one will turn on and it gets noisy. Do you think I'm going to have to replace the whole thing? Or could it be something else I am overlooking?
sounds like the motor is going bad.. u might not have to replace the whole thing (depending on the fan model). some of the fans have clips for installing individual motors and others have them hard-wired in, but it may be easier to just get the whole unit already assembled. the links above r some good choices :)
I have a quick question, what made you determine it was just the fan and not the fuse or Relay. My fan stopped working and my car overheats so much so i can't use it at all please help!
we have a fuse check light.. this is another channel's coverage of how to test ur fuses: th-cam.com/video/G07TrPjn8hI/w-d-xo.html relay switches r tested using a much more complicated system which includes a computer sending signals to turn on/off relays.. had to have it done at my buddy's shop. did u try the tap test?
awesome! great work diagnosing it :D and thanks for subscribing! it's been a couple months since i've had time to edit another vid, but i'll have more content coming up shortly, and we're always here if u need any help :)
Hello I am extremely confused, picked an 03 g35 sedan not too long ago, there is only 1 big white fan instead of this, is that normal or should I go ahead and replace it with these ????
there are G35's that have non-electric fans? are yours running off the serpentine belt then? i would think that electric fans would take less hp to run, especially cause they only drain power from the system when they are on
so you have a DE.. depends on how much you're looking to drop into it.. if you follow our G35 build, you'll have a good idea of the order of parts to address [ th-cam.com/play/PLb1yla77QSRhqyz3BNtfja9-c8wWsdW0k.html ] .. three cheap but effective mods for VQ N/A setup are intake tube, motordyne iso thermo 5/16" spacer, test pipes and exhaust
So I just did this exact job, and I have one question. Is the first fan suppose to come on and then the second kicks on and off periodically, or do they both always come on and off together? Thank you.
sure, the fans could be burning out or seizing up.. but it could also be something electrical.. like if the fans weren't getting the energy needed to spin fast.. most likely burning out i imagine
many cars have single fans rather than dual, and i believe the other fan should continue to work just fine, but i wouldn't push the car hard, do a lot of city/high-traffic driving, or go on any long distance trips with one fan seized up.
Mils Garage thanks for the quick reply brother!! I just bought a radiator fan online for my Z and it said it was for automatic but my Z is manual. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks again. Keep up the good work
any time! yeah, u'll be good n gravy :D just be careful taking the fans out of the packaging.. i totally shattered one of the clips before. they're pretty fragile. thanks so much for your support!
So do your fans turn on at all? My g sat pver winter and is now overheating but won't overheat with the heat on full blast. I bleed the coolant system but when I let it sit at idle and turn the heater off, when the fans kick on it starts to overheat so I'm thinking there not doing there job well enough? 91k
Hey Dylan, i'm sorry to hear.. i'm thinking maybe it has some air pockets in the engine's front right side coolant line.. Maybe it's stopping the thermostat from opening up, or maybe the thermostat isn't working.. Another idea is that maybe the water pump isn't working. When you're bleeding the coolant lines and it reaches operating temperatures, do you feel heat in both of the engine's front large coolant lines?
Oh nooo.. Yeah, that's the exact type of issues i've been dealing with on the '07 G i picked up. i've cleaned a couple pounds of salt and sand out of the panels, and bolts are constantly snapping... Makes me wanna blast the car with like $200 of WD-40
It really depends on how much you drain. Manual says 9.25qt. If you drain all that, you're going to want to pick up a gallon of Prestone and dilute it with a gallon of distilled water, and you'll be left with about half a gallon of 50/50. But you don't need to drain all the coolant. In fact don't unless you haven't changed it for a while and if you do, you must know how to burp an engine.
Hey how are you great video! I have the opposite issue. My fans run all the time even when the car is first started and car is cold. Same car. Any idea how to diagnose or where to start?
there's a tiny tab which u can push out using a thin screwdriver. if they r hard to get to, u may be able to get to the prong side and use needle-nose pliers to compress the clip
What’s up man, quick question . I have a 2006 g35 coupe , I’ve notice that the fans are super loud, I already change the coolant. Didn’t help and thermo. At 212F the high fans kick on instead of low
i think it's the Cooling Fan Control Module, or the fuse for it. both of those parts are cheap and can be found on in the Google Marketplace: www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/18565-05604327.html?DN&+Infiniti+M35+Engine+Cooling+Fan+Module+Beck+Arnley+203-0276+06-10+Infiniti+Engine+Cooling+Fan+Module+2009+2008&fp=pp&gbm=a&PartsGeek+Google+Base&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7Z3VBRC-ARIsAEQifZSdcXnYZMT55N30WPm3XRP9aie6FkHE_5cXX9peyJu7kCsXw8alysYaAibVEALw_wcB&ad=47433964812
Matt Morse NZ sorry to bother again brother but the only relays I see in my fuse box in front of the battery are 2 FL40A one which is by itself and one that is attached to 2 other fuses, when j find out which one is the high speed do i just remove it then do a ecu reset as well?
Does your bleed procedure work without the fancy “no spill” funnel because you’re not completely draining the radiator? Ie- only enough to remove the upper hose without making a mess? Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your support sir! idk about fancy funnels, but yeah, because it’s not drained all the way, you shouldn’t have to bleed the thermostat and lower hoses 👍 . There are vacuum setups that’ll make bleeding the whole system easy if you drain everything. Bleeding the thermostat area by hand takes some time
Benjamin Perley Oh ok, just a nice funnel lol.. i did it with a regular funnel, but that one looks convenient. The best option is to use a vacuum bleeder, but i haven’t personally used one yet
Hey dood, great video. My 2006 g35 coupe is starting to have similar issues. The car would only overheat when the ac is on. I changed the thermostat and still having the same problem. I'm about to change the fans. Can you tell me which brand you ordered off of rock auto?
thank you for your support Mr. AwesomeHyDRO! sure thing! i got the DORMAN fans.. looks like they don't have them in supply. out of the current options, the ULTRA-POWER, TYC, VDO, and APDI/PRO's all look closest to OEM
there's no way to cool ur engine too much. except for dumping cold water on the heated block.. that will crack it. the cooler u can keep ur engine, the more horsepower u can create, and less heat soak u'll run into :)
Mils Garage nothing really pretty stock.. after changing thermomstat and basically flushing cooling system, think i added wrong because few steps to ensure air doesnt get it but ive tried
+HalalGaming cool, i used the same :) normally i dilute it myself, but i had to add some in order to get home. as long as it's the green kind, u'r good. *don't let anyone put any other color than green in there*
+Mils Garage (jay mils) Whats going on if my ac condensor fan is the only one that doesnt come on? It doesnt come on when temperatures increase for my g35 operation.
if u can verify that the problem isn't an electrical issue with the relay switch and/or electrical connections, replacing just the motor should work fine :) but there's a good chance that if one of the motors is going bad, the other one will go soon too.. if u can get a good deal, u might wanna get two motors just in case, or just go ahead and replace both of them at once so u don't have to do the same job multiple times
+Mils Garage (jay mils) Thanks for the speedy response.....My passenger side fan stopped working so i had it fixed by a mechanic now my driver side fan has blown will fix it myself..will update when finished..thanks for the video..can i ask what tools will i need
I’m in need of a new fan. Do you think it’s worth spending the extra $70-$90 on a “performance” fan such as the Mishimoto? Or does it do no different then the regular oem one?
Mils Garage rockauto is amazing I use them a lot. I figured it would cool the engine a little better but idk. So you think it’s not worth getting the Mishimoto one?
great! so you know, awesome. i mean, Mishimoto's look pretty thin and nice, but i can't guarantee fitment and personally don't have an extra $70-90 for radiator fans.. if you've got the extra money, or are at a stage in your build where you're aiming to tuck wires and stuff, go with the Mishimoto.. but if you're just looking for performance, you won't get noticeably different performance from the Mishimoto
+OrangeJa i have a couple questions for u to help diagnose the problem: 1. have u replaced/moved the battery recently? 2. have someone try to use the wiper fluid while u listen for whether the pump is turning on.. the pump is located in the front passenger-side corner, in front of the wheel, behind the bumper. 3. if no pump sound; check all fuses. 4. if u can hear a pump sound; check to see if the nozzles r clogged by carefully inserting a thin needle and jiggling it in the openings. 5. sometimes there is a windshield wiper fluid filter which can get clogged (located around the pump) if u have to remove the bumper to get to the pump/filter, check out our Drop The Bumper vid: th-cam.com/video/QvXKEo5gVxA/w-d-xo.html let me know if that helps :)
Mils Garage yeah i needed a new fuse. but I do now have a radiator leak ): and idk how to fix that shit so I'll be going to a junkyard this week or look on craigslist to find a radiator.
+OrangeJa word(fuse is much less costly than needing a new pump).. but oh damn, leaking radiator is no good.. hope u can find a good deal. if u can't at the junk yard, check out rockauto.com for their pricing
Hey Mils, I have an 06 G35X and whenever the AC is on the electric fans run constantly. The AC is always cold and the car runs perfect with no overheating etc. just curious if that’s normal for the fan to run non stop with the AC on. Thanks for what you do.
Great DIY video. Exactly what I was looking for. I noticed the coolant start bubbling and smoking when I was parked and idling my '05 350z at a grocery parking lot last week. When I took it into the dealer's ,they said the fan assembly needed to be replaced. The part # they mentioned is 21481-CF40B and want to charge a grand (600 parts + 200 labour). Is that the part number for the new fan you guys put in as well?
i've never tried or seen that done.. i have seen many rigged aftermarket radiator installs that were pretty much zip-tied on.. so far i'm seeing some dimension differences. i imagine it will make the brackets not fit without messing with them, or you may have space issues, but i wish i had a concrete answer for you
@Emad Saad Drastic Measures Hip Hop i'm sorry to hear that.. But it sounds like you've diagnosed it well, and i have a feeling you'll be running right in no time. Keep up the great work sir
when the fans stop working, the engine temp heats up WAY too high and antifreeze will start shooting out of the reservoir.. it's not fun, and u can't drive very far before needing to stop to cool down
I have a 2008 g35 sedan and my fans stop working so i installed new cooling fans and I would start the car and they would stay on for 5 minutes and then turn off and wont turn on again anyone know what might be causing this issue?
How long did it take for the air bubbles to come out? I've done full flushes before and it took a bit of time to get all the trapped air out.. just have to replace my fans this time so don't think it should take too long for the trapped air to come out? Awesome videos as well man. Explains well :-)
i really appreciate your support CaptainZz! Bleeding it of air pockets, i ran the engine for 3~5 minutes, checking the coolant level continuously and adding as it sucked more into the system. It shouldn't take too long. :)
Thanks Austin!! Good question. i don't think there's much of a difference between the loudness of the fans.. i imagine there are aftermarket fan makers who take pride in being quiet, but i haven't done research into which options would be the quietest.. Sorry for the non-concrete answer.. did you do your exhaust yet? cause you could totally make the car loud enough to not know it's fans are running ;)
Awesome video bro! I got a question for ya...when ordering a new set of Fans for the 350z/g35 does it matter if it's a 6speed manual or automatic trans?? Reason I'm asking is I keep finding fans that say "Automatic only"....thanks and have a blessed day
It might matter.. There are 2~3 designs for the fan setup, including a non-electric fan setup in the earliest models. i’m not sure about MT vs Auto, but i’d call the seller or make sure it says the part is compatible before making the purchase
@@milsgarage Thanks for the quick reply I tried to message the seller on ebay hopefully they respond but I have a 2003 350z manual trans I saw after asking you the ? somewhere in the comments someone saying it doesn't matter if it's manual or automatic I just want to be sure lol 🤘🙏 thx again

Um... cant you change the radiator coolant fans/assembly without draining your radiator? I mean all your doing is taking off a few bolts and plugging back in the clamps to the fans or even if you take off the hoses couldn't you be careful and maybe only lose a little coolant? I'm about to do my replacement so I will post if I do it without draining it or I will post about me making a silly mess lol. Good vid btw.
+topgun779 i mean.. if u'r the type of person who doesn't mind caustic fluids dumping all over ur engine bay/car, u can totally just pull the hoses. but those coolant hoses absolutely block in the radiator fan, so short answer is: no, u can't change the fans w/o draining the radiator. if u try w/o draining, def let me know how it turns out :) and thanks for the support :D

My fan stopped working and my car overheats so much so i can't use it at all please help!
we have a fuse check light.. this is another channel's coverage of how to test ur fuses: th-cam.com/video/G07TrPjn8hI/w-d-xo.html
relay switches r tested using a much more complicated system which includes a computer sending signals to turn on/off relays.. had to have it done at my buddy's shop. did u try the tap test?
awesome! great work diagnosing it :D and thanks for subscribing! it's been a couple months since i've had time to edit another vid, but i'll have more content coming up shortly, and we're always here if u need any help :)
Hello I am extremely confused, picked an 03 g35 sedan not too long ago, there is only 1 big white fan instead of this, is that normal or should I go ahead and replace it with these ????
Is that fan being run by a belt?
Friend because my G35 sedan 2003 has no electric fans has Fancloch?
Is it better if I put electric fans?
there are G35's that have non-electric fans? are yours running off the serpentine belt then? i would think that electric fans would take less hp to run, especially cause they only drain power from the system when they are on
If mine has only the one that goes in front of the condenser the motor is not electric
i see now.. yours has a clutch fan.. seems lots of people with 03 Sedans aim to do the electric fan swap 😎👍
yes my car have a clutch fan :( what else do you recommend to make it more powerful?!!
so you have a DE.. depends on how much you're looking to drop into it.. if you follow our G35 build, you'll have a good idea of the order of parts to address [ th-cam.com/play/PLb1yla77QSRhqyz3BNtfja9-c8wWsdW0k.html ] .. three cheap but effective mods for VQ N/A setup are intake tube, motordyne iso thermo 5/16" spacer, test pipes and exhaust
How much time should I wait or how would i know when all the bubbles are out of the coolant lines?
Until there aren’t any more bubbles 👍
Could you have replaced the radiator fan without removing the coolant hoses nor draining the radiator?
Nope
no
So I just did this exact job, and I have one question. Is the first fan suppose to come on and then the second kicks on and off periodically, or do they both always come on and off together? Thank you.
Sorry, i thought i knew off the top of my head, but now i’m second guessing.. i’ll have to check tomorrow. Is it overheating?
@@milsgarage It was because fans were not turning on. So far its not over heating while idling. Didn't have time to go drive it yet.
I have fx 35 and fans not running fast could it be tha fans or something else
Fans sometimes dont come on
sure, the fans could be burning out or seizing up.. but it could also be something electrical.. like if the fans weren't getting the energy needed to spin fast.. most likely burning out i imagine
Thanks im going to put new fans and see what happens after
cool, i hope it fixes everything
Thanks again
I was told one fan has a bad bearing. If it stops working, will the other fan keep going? Will one fan keep it cool enough to drive a little distance?
many cars have single fans rather than dual, and i believe the other fan should continue to work just fine, but i wouldn't push the car hard, do a lot of city/high-traffic driving, or go on any long distance trips with one fan seized up.
@@milsgarage Thanks!

Thanks guys.
Thank you for your support Rudy :)
what year is this coupe? thanks.
this was done on a 2005, but i just did it on the 2007, and it's exactly the same on all models except for early 2003 models
Mils garage how do you disconnect the sensor/relay that connects the wiring on the fan?
Will the radiator fan for an automatic Z work on a manual Z?
yep, they r the same fans on all 350Z and G35 models
Mils Garage thanks for the quick reply brother!! I just bought a radiator fan online for my Z and it said it was for automatic but my Z is manual. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks again. Keep up the good work
any time! yeah, u'll be good n gravy :D just be careful taking the fans out of the packaging.. i totally shattered one of the clips before. they're pretty fragile. thanks so much for your support!
The only way it won’t work is if you try to put a Z rad on a G. Zs have fill cap on different location
Very helpful, now if I could have avoided sheering off one of the radiator fan bolts... such is life living in the land of snow and salt...
Oh nooo.. Yeah, that's the exact type of issues i've been dealing with on the '07 G i picked up. i've cleaned a couple pounds of salt and sand out of the panels, and bolts are constantly snapping... Makes me wanna blast the car with like $200 of WD-40
What size bolts are they? Mine snapped and need replacements
Really important question please about approximately how much coolant would I need to complete this job ?
It really depends on how much you drain. Manual says 9.25qt. If you drain all that, you're going to want to pick up a gallon of Prestone and dilute it with a gallon of distilled water, and you'll be left with about half a gallon of 50/50. But you don't need to drain all the coolant. In fact don't unless you haven't changed it for a while and if you do, you must know how to burp an engine.
Hey how are you great video! I have the opposite issue. My fans run all the time even when the car is first started and car is cold. Same car. Any idea how to diagnose or where to start?
oh wow, sounds like they'll wear out pretty quickly like that.. it sounds like it might just be a bad relay.. i'll see what Ryan thinks
Fan control module replacement. Very common and trivial to do.
how to you remove the wiring clams. they seem to be stuck in my car
there's a tiny tab which u can push out using a thin screwdriver. if they r hard to get to, u may be able to get to the prong side and use needle-nose pliers to compress the clip
What’s up man, quick question . I have a 2006 g35 coupe , I’ve notice that the fans are super loud, I already change the coolant. Didn’t help and thermo. At 212F the high fans kick on instead of low
i think it's the Cooling Fan Control Module, or the fuse for it. both of those parts are cheap and can be found on in the Google Marketplace:
www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/18565-05604327.html?DN&+Infiniti+M35+Engine+Cooling+Fan+Module+Beck+Arnley+203-0276+06-10+Infiniti+Engine+Cooling+Fan+Module+2009+2008&fp=pp&gbm=a&PartsGeek+Google+Base&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7Z3VBRC-ARIsAEQifZSdcXnYZMT55N30WPm3XRP9aie6FkHE_5cXX9peyJu7kCsXw8alysYaAibVEALw_wcB&ad=47433964812

Matt Morse NZ is the high speed relay the cooling fan relay? Or the cooling fan? Not sure which relay it Is. thank you
Matt Morse NZ sorry to bother again brother but the only relays I see in my fuse box in front of the battery are 2 FL40A one which is by itself and one that is attached to 2 other fuses, when j find out which one is the high speed do i just remove it then do a ecu reset as well?
Does your bleed procedure work without the fancy “no spill” funnel because you’re not completely draining the radiator? Ie- only enough to remove the upper hose without making a mess? Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your support sir! idk about fancy funnels, but yeah, because it’s not drained all the way, you shouldn’t have to bleed the thermostat and lower hoses 👍 . There are vacuum setups that’ll make bleeding the whole system easy if you drain everything. Bleeding the thermostat area by hand takes some time
Almost every other video or tutorial insists you must use one of these... www.lislecorp.com/specialty-tools/spill-free-funnel-606
Benjamin Perley Oh ok, just a nice funnel lol.. i did it with a regular funnel, but that one looks convenient. The best option is to use a vacuum bleeder, but i haven’t personally used one yet
It connects directly to the radiator cap and won’t let any air get in.
I’m trying your way first.

I need help with my G
Are you in the Delaware area? What's goin on with your G?
Hey can I throw in a high performance radiator in my G35? Or is it gonna cool it way too much?
there's no way to cool ur engine too much. except for dumping cold water on the heated block.. that will crack it. the cooler u can keep ur engine, the more horsepower u can create, and less heat soak u'll run into :)
Hey Mils, i have an 04 G35 sedan... 2nd fan kicks on after like 10 mins of driving... would new fan assembly fix ya think? thanks for any advice
Hmmm what all have you done as far as modifications? Do you still have the cats, and are you tuned?
Mils Garage nothing really pretty stock.. after changing thermomstat and basically flushing cooling system, think i added wrong because few steps to ensure air doesnt get it but ive tried
What kind of coolant did he use? I put prestone 50/50 preduluted. Is that fine I had to top mine off because of a leak.
+Mils Garage (jay mils) Is it a good idea just to replace the motor?
if u can verify that the problem isn't an electrical issue with the relay switch and/or electrical connections, replacing just the motor should work fine :) but there's a good chance that if one of the motors is going bad, the other one will go soon too.. if u can get a good deal, u might wanna get two motors just in case, or just go ahead and replace both of them at once so u don't have to do the same job multiple times
Or does it do no different then the regular oem one?
i don't think the fan's going to have much of a difference on performance.. i got mine from RockAuto.com and they work great
Mils Garage rockauto is amazing I use them a lot.
Fluid won't come out of my windshield wipers on my g35 😭 I need help, idk if it's clogged or the pump went bad
+OrangeJa i have a couple questions for u to help diagnose the problem:
1. have u replaced/moved the battery recently?
2. have someone try to use the wiper fluid while u listen for whether the pump is turning on.. the pump is located in the front passenger-side corner, in front of the wheel, behind the bumper.
3. if no pump sound; check all fuses.
4. if u can hear a pump sound; check to see if the nozzles r clogged by carefully inserting a thin needle and jiggling it in the openings.
5. sometimes there is a windshield wiper fluid filter which can get clogged (located around the pump)
if u have to remove the bumper to get to the pump/filter, check out our Drop The Bumper vid: th-cam.com/video/QvXKEo5gVxA/w-d-xo.html
let me know if that helps :)
+OrangeJa u ever figure out the windshield wiper fluid?
Mils Garage yeah i needed a new fuse. but I do now have a radiator leak ): and idk how to fix that shit so I'll be going to a junkyard this week or look on craigslist to find a radiator.
+OrangeJa word(fuse is much less costly than needing a new pump).. but oh damn, leaking radiator is no good.. hope u can find a good deal. if u can't at the junk yard, check out rockauto.com for their pricing
Mils Garage Okay thanks! I'll be ordering one this week most likely. Is it a tedious task to change the radiator?
Hey Mils, I have an 06 G35X and whenever the AC is on the electric fans run constantly. The AC is always cold and the car runs perfect with no overheating etc. just curious if that’s normal for the fan to run non stop with the AC on. Thanks for what you do.
Yes, the fans are on because the engine is at temp and the AC is on 👍 Thank you Kevin! i really appreciate your support 🤘🤘🤘
Is that the part number for the new fan you guys put in as well?
hey buddy! thanks for your support! yeah, that's the same fan. you can get it even cheaper from rockauto.com
If the fans aren't working right, can you drive a car a short distance to get it to a shop?
Yes, but you're going to want to watch the temperature gauge, and pull over/shut the car down if it gets too hot
Where can I buy this same exact fan? Unless the new one is OEM?
i got this fan from RockAuto.com
Does a g35 radiator fit a 350z??
i've never tried or seen that done.. i have seen many rigged aftermarket radiator installs that were pretty much zip-tied on.. so far i'm seeing some dimension differences. i imagine it will make the brackets not fit without messing with them, or you may have space issues, but i wish i had a concrete answer for you
But since they both have the same motor wouldn’t the radiators be the same ?
it's not about the motor. it's about the radiator support sir. they have different front structures
Mils Garage ahh, I got you. Thanks man
any time tyrone 💯 thank you for your support! if you own a 350z and are sitting on a G35 radiator, i imagine you can rig it up to work

@@milsgarage my fan on my passanger side wouldnt come on and my temp got hot today, i bought new fans .. hope it fixes the problem.
@Emad Saad Drastic Measures Hip Hop i'm sorry to hear that.. But it sounds like you've diagnosed it well, and i have a feeling you'll be running right in no time. Keep up the great work sir
Did your car go into limp mode when the fans weren’t working?
when the fans stop working, the engine temp heats up WAY too high and antifreeze will start shooting out of the reservoir.. it's not fun, and u can't drive very far before needing to stop to cool down
Mils Garage the very exact thing just happened to me thanks for the tutorial!!! Just earned a subscriber and thumbs up!!👍🏾
I have a 2008 g35 sedan and my fans stop working so i installed new cooling fans and I would start the car and they would stay on for 5 minutes and then turn off and wont turn on again anyone know what might be causing this issue?
i'm not really sure.. i would check the fuses.. It should turn on when the engine reaches temp. Does it turn on when you turn on the AC?
How long did it take for the air bubbles to come out? I've done full flushes before and it took a bit of time to get all the trapped air out.. just have to replace my fans this time so don't think it should take too long for the trapped air to come out?
Awesome videos as well man. Explains well :-)
i really appreciate your support CaptainZz! Bleeding it of air pockets, i ran the engine for 3~5 minutes, checking the coolant level continuously and adding as it sucked more into the system. It shouldn't take too long. :)

@CaptainZz Likewise! Keep up the legendary work! 🤟😎👍
Great vid once again.
Question: is the fans loud/louder than the oem fans?
Thanks Austin!! Good question. i don't think there's much of a difference between the loudness of the fans.. i imagine there are aftermarket fan makers who take pride in being quiet, but i haven't done research into which options would be the quietest.. Sorry for the non-concrete answer.. did you do your exhaust yet? cause you could totally make the car loud enough to not know it's fans are running ;)
Yes i put the resonated test pipes in sound a bit different but thats cause i have the Magnaflo catback
Wow, i bet that sounds great! Got any sound clips? i'd love to hear it :)

It might matter.. There are 2~3 designs for the fan setup, including a non-electric fan setup in the earliest models. i’m not sure about MT vs Auto, but i’d call the seller or make sure it says the part is compatible before making the purchase

Um... cant you change the radiator coolant fans/assembly without draining your radiator?
+Mils Garage (jay mils) Yes it's easier to just drain the radiator from the plug on the bottom. This was my first time doing the job and I did it well and everything works great. Thanks
