@@Spokentoandsaved Yeah that’s fine man, first tear was because as I was in a full sprint another player shoved my back and my planting leg hyperextended with my whole weight on top of it, and the second tear was a really dirty foul from an opponent, he came in with both legs but missed and all his momentum crashed into the side of the same knee I had torn before

I have grade 1 ACL injury , been feeling the wobblyness since 8 months , in beginning i thought it may be temporary , after sometime when i saw no improvement i thought it may be be vitamin D deficiency so i got it tested , turns out i had severe vit d and b12 deficiency. Ate suppliments for few months yet no improvement in my knee.
All this time i was working out and doing heavy walking. At last i decided to get my knee checked. Got an x ray , nothing showed up , bones were all right. Then the doctor recommended to get an mri scan which i got and results were obvious
    Grade 1 ACL injury
    Minor chondromalacia patella injury
The doc told me to do core strengthening , he said doing planks consistently should be enough.
I started doing planks and hurt my back.
Then i looked for something which didn't require planking and here i am , i did my first session today (apart from the ball exercise because I don't have it)
My back isn't that hurt should heal in few days.
Thinking to do these exercises and planks together.
Hope it works out because i was working out to drop fat and wanted to be physically active.
    Thanks for the video.
    I'll be providing updates weekly.

I’m a gymnast and I tore my acl about 1 year and a half ago, I had to retire for 10 months maybe and go to therapy. In therapy they used to tell me that I needed strength on my legs since my knees used to pull to the side instead of pulling up. Around November I stopped going to therapy and began going to the gym, and around February I began gymnastics again, but several times my knees just give up, it feels like they cannot handle my weight and aren’t stable. Yesterday I was doing a simple leap and I fell on my right leg (my good knee) and it staggered, right now I have a lot of pain and I can’t even stand up without pain. I really want to continue doing gymnastics so I will try to do this exercises to improve my strength, thanks a lot and please give me tips for this situation. (also sorry if my English is bad, it’s not my mother language).

@@eshansaxena7966 Hi! As a soccer player who has had two acl repairs on the right knee and now awaiting to get a first for the left knee.
Any high impact sport ... that requires running, twisting or jumping ... it means you'll need to get a surgery and proper rehab or a special brace before returning to any high impact sport.
Please seek medical help asap. If you keep buckling that knee ... you could easily tear the other ligaments as well... mcl..lcl..pcl

Tore my ACL and fractured my femur along with other ligaments. Fell on the left leg from a 5 ft drop.
    52 yo male 208 lbs 5’10”
As writing this today, 2 weeks and 2 days ago was the accident.
Dr didn’t recommend surgery after reviewing imagery.
The leg is finally starting to not be so swollen and I’m able to slowly walk a little without crutches.
The back of the calf from the knee down to the ankle is tight and sore.
I’m hoping I’m not jumping into using the leg too soon but, I appreciate the video you made to show us what exercises to do for this type of injury.
    Thanks!

      @Draw Shot Thanks for asking.
Started doing my own PT after Orthopedic visit. Slowly walking with a brace.
We ended up moving across the country shortly after the injury and I’m sure I slowed the recovery by stressing the knee.
      Started a new job.
It took a few months for the swelling to go away. It doesn’t hurt as much but, cold winter hasn’t been experienced yet.
      Able to ride motorcycles again.
I don’t walk the same or able to lift/do things like before but, I’m glad I can walk.
Just being mindful of what I’m doing and continue to stretch and walk.
Not going to get surgery any time soon.

They gave me 2 series exercises, first was good and there was improvement, but second series of exercises made me knee more sore and more swollen and there is actually a regress now. The worse exercise is sit to stand with band. Physio insist that I should do it. But I'm not very sure?

My MRI says it sounds like an ACL injury.
I hope I don’t need any surgery but 1 month since the injury I can walk somewhat normal certain movements do cause pain and a lot of discomfort my biggest thing has been bending my knee in. Example like sitting criss cross.

@Draw Shot I have read tons of articles about this injury..So let me explain what i know here,..ACL or PCL injury doesn't heal by itself at all as it is non blood circulation area..if we want to have sedentary life, operation is not needed.lots of exercise and stretching is needed.but if we want to participate in higv physical sports, operation is needed and hell lots of therapy.. Good luck,guys.. my knee isn't the same anymore even if i can do every exercise.

Hello! So I actually tore my ACL back in 2017 and had surgery done on it and then had a second surgery about a year later on my meniscus (some of it was removed) all on the same knee. I did PT after I had my first surgery but haven’t done so since. I exercise and do plenty cardio throughout my week but I want to start training for soccer soon. I’m just afraid my knee won’t be ready for pivotal movements. Are there any exercises you recommend (and can upload) I should do to help strengthen my knee? Thank you!! Look forwarding to hearing from you soon

I tore (complete tear) my acl 4 years ago…. I also broke my pelvis that day… so they kind of ignored my knee… I ended up tearing my meniscus as well a few months ago… finally got a mri to confirm both…. I have some weakness (and burning pain) and locking up after awkward movements occasionally…. My doctor says I should get surgery but I’d really rather not …. Is it possible to have a “normal life” without it?

Sir I had an accident about 3-4 years back. That time my right leg patela was displaced. The doctors helped it set back to normal and restricted movements for a month. That time it felt I was alright. But about an year ago there was a slight pain in my knee. There was some cranking sound when tried to bend or stretch my leg. So I thought I was creating pressure on the leg and tried to use more of my left leg to avoid the pain. That didn't work and I had to get a physical therapist who made my knee set back forcibly and tied bandages. This treatment went on for a month. But now still I have the same cranking on my right knee and I strain my left knee a lot. I am just 19 year old. Will these exercises help me with my issue?

I'm not a doctor or a physio so take this advice with a grain of salt, but I had a knee injury when I was 16 and I'm now 50 and it still doesn't work properly. It doesn't affect me on a day to day basis walking sitting etc, but I only get about 95% range of motion so can't close it fully without some discomfort, which limits my ability to squat or kneel properly. So you might have to get used it. But good luck, hopefully yours ends up better than mine.
