Great video! I brought a 1990 F150, 300 6-cylinder, 5-speed in 1993 for $6999. It had 60k highway miles, but clean as a whistle. I drove it for 7 years and only put a clutch and exhaust on it. My first vehicle was an 89 F150 that was handed down to me by my dad when I was 14. I'm 41 years old and I still have it today. Currently working on getting it back on the road.
I've got my dad's 67 F100, I was with him when he bought it..I was 10 and thought it was the best thing on the farm! It still runs good but don't stop as good as it should.

Word of advice Josh pressure washing from the bottom up gives the water carrying the mold and mildew a chance to settle into the lower end and start all over again if you go from the top down itl give it a better shot of not coming back
That truck certainly went through a tremendous transformation. Hopefully it runs as good as it looks. Keep up the great work and the excellent videos guys 👍✌️🇺🇲

He slid them yellow safety glasses on like John Travolta with them disco 🕺moves. 😂. Ralphy was impressed They are a awesome family. Good job sending them glasses to them. 🎉🎉🎉
The squirrels had fun inside that truck. The best thing to get the smell out of that truck would be charcoal. It will absorb the odor if you leave it sealed up in there overnight. Where I used to live up in the woods we had squirrels all over and they would get into tool drawers in the garage and store acorns there and even found Acorns stuffed into the Air box of my '89 F150. Yours also has dual tanks like my "89 does. I have never had any trouble with EFI on mine and I have 160,000 on my 5.0 liter as well. That is a solid truck just like mine. Thanks for sharing.
I like the idea that this is strictly family content. Your kids enjoy being around you and the work that you do on these old vehicles. In today's society, it seems like it's uncommon anymore.
Love that F-150, I owned a 1989 Ranger until I bought my new 2001 Ranger. When I was young I had a 1970 Mustang Grande, 1973 Duster, 1975 Chevy Impala and at one point I drove a 76 Toyota Corrola, all old junk that I could afford in the day! I wish I had them now!
I was thinking the same, I'd have pulled it and pressure washed out of the truck. Heck, if the truck runs well enough, I'd order another carpet for it and trash that one.
@@Sleeperdude I'm amazed you didn't just open both doors and hit the interior with a leaf blower. Could have got a nice layer of free compost for the gravel. :)
@@Sleeperdude Yeah there's a ton of padding aka jute under the carpet that holds a lot of dried liquids aka urine etc. Wetting it like this just reactivates it. It needs to dry from both sides or you can actually end up sick. I ran a detail business for 15 years.
That looks like a pretty solid truck. A friend of mine had one just like it with a manual transmission that would do nasty burnouts 😄 But living in the North East the wheel arches above the wheels on the bed were completely rusted through even though the truck was maybe 10 years old so it's surprising to see it not all rusted out. You're so right about the kids getting better with the pressure washer. It was fun to watch them do so good. It's even fun watching Ralphie and Wah Wah arguing about who's gonna wash what. LOL.
Its awesome see how excited Ralphie gets over a crusty old Ford truck that has sat dead in the woods longer then hes been alive. I loved these trucks when they were still late models and i love em even more today. New trucks are terrible, teaching the kiddos how to keep the old ones on the road gives all us old timers hope for the future.
I absolutely love what y’all do. It’s so amazing the transformations. And the fact the whole family is involved is awesome. I had an 87 5.0 liter , AT , long bed , 90 , 5 speed , 4.9 liter, short bed and a 91 , AT, 4.9 liter, extra cab. I love those old ford trucks.
Love the 87-91 bricknose Fords. I have 2 currently and have owned several. Very durable and reliable trucks. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.🙂
Good trucks. I have a 1989 F150 Super Cab 5.0/AOD I'm up to 69 fixes on the truck since I bought it in late 2020. Next fix is the shift indicator cable assembly that always breaks!

Like that old truck. I had one that was the same body style just not as fancy back in the mid to late 90s. So it would be great to see that one all fixed up.
I have to tip my (Sleeperdude merch) hat to Josh, Wawa, Ralphie and Squeezy for having the courage to tackle one of the most disgusting car interiors I have ever seen. I am shocked you didn’t find a few live critters or a lot of bones from the critters that once lived in that cab. The body really did clean up nicely and I think it will make a nice addition to the SD fleet once you get it running. Thanks for saving yet another classic from such a horrific fate. 👍👍👍
It would be fun to see some pictures of the family when the videos began and now. The kids are growing up fast! The family bond makes your channel extra special.

My dad bought a brand new 1990 4x4 f150 with 302. He gave it to me when I turned 16 in 1996. Had a straight drive. He taught me how to drive it by taking off going up a hill on a dirt rd. That truck would go anywhere in snow or mud. Wish I still had it.
Another amazing family time video. Great to see Squeezy still staying involved. Really love y’all videos. That Ford come out looking nice. Next the engine..😉 until next video sending Blessings to you and your family 😊
Wow that F150 really cleaned up nicely. I can see Ralphie is in heaven with the grin he has the whole time he's working on it. I can see that being his daily driver in the future and then his Vette for some fun. Can't wait to see more of how it turns out in the next episode.
Squeezie is really coming around to working on the vehicles. That is really nice to see her becoming so involved. These kids are just wonderful, you and “ Marg “ must be so proud. You scored well on that pick up, the Lariet is just one step down from the King Ranch. Never have been a fan of the twin tanks. The switch mechanism always fails and you’re stuck with a full tank you can’t access. Thanks for sharing with us and making so many people smile.👍👍🇨🇦
To help break down the urine smell mix 50/50 white vinegar and water and saturate the carpet. It will have a strong vinegar smell for a little bit but will neutralize the urine. If you can set a fan up on it to help dry it would be good
Wow I thought that would never clean up. I can’t believe that floor is still ok with all the wet stuff in there. You came along at the right time for that truck.
Man, I love that truck!! Up here in PA that truck would be GOLD!! They are all rotted up here. Heck that bed would bring a pretty penny up here also!! Great find!!!
SLEEPDUDE FAMILY - been a detailer a many years, and my tip to you... squirt bottle in 1 hand, powerwand in the other hand - spray the detergent rite into the powerwash spray.. it will mix and fully bubble up everywhere .. alot quicker and it will cover it alll.. try it .. Randy in North bay Canada

Josh, you say alot of stuff like when I met my wife 36 years ago. She's from Oklahoma. She always would have me check her OL and if she got mad at me she would say she was gonna peench me. Now she's gotten all fancy and says oil and pinch now. Its gotten so bad I have to interpret our Tennessean Landlord for her so she can understand him. Please don't change the way ya say things cuz I don't think I could stand another heartbreak😅🤣😂. Take care and may you and your family continue to be abundantly blessed. Another great video. Amazing how fast kids grow up. Everybody says that, and it is true. Instead of two kids and a teenager? You're gonna have 3 teenagers... real soon. Amazing how everybody is on board with the idea. Grow the channel. Teamwork makes the dream work. I really didn't think that truck had a future, but it cleaned right up! You will have it running in no time.
The last Ford I i owned was a 89 F 150 lariat , Less than 12,000 miles it would accelerate on its owned, clutch would stick on the floor, and the radio would have static on it with the bright lights on. It was a junk truck from the start. Traded it in on Chevy the best thing i ever did. Have fun with the truck.
Nice truck, no boa constrictor under it!!! I had a Lariet with the 302/2V, 4 speed, dual tanks, ABS for work!!! The kids are the sweetest!!! Happy Holidays!!!

I love the clean ups on the dirty ones. The power wash did wonders. Ralphie is gonna love driving that truck.
Thank you I’m glad you liked it
I have to tip my (Sleeperdude merch) hat to Josh, Wawa, Ralphie and Squeezy for having the courage to tackle one of the most disgusting car interiors I have ever seen. I am shocked you didn’t find a few live critters or a lot of bones from the critters that once lived in that cab.
The body really did clean up nicely and I think it will make a nice addition to the SD fleet once you get it running.
Thanks for saving yet another classic from such a horrific fate.
👍👍👍
Thank you they did good
Nostalgic truck right there. My grandfather had a all black one and I remember loving when he’d visit ❤
There are many isolated people, that enjoy your content...thank you for sharing your family exsperience, with us!
It would be fun to see some pictures of the family when the videos began and now. The kids are growing up fast! The family bond makes your channel extra special.
We have posted a few on instagram. None of them were born when I posted my first video
Thing was gnarly .. looking forward to the getting it running upload .. .. keep killing it ., “that’s not a knife this is a knife” Knife good find also seems like a good candidate for a turbo can
Thank you will do
LMC TRUCK has everything for this truck. I completely restored a 1989 F250. Fuel system and tank switches, body pannels, interior and more.
Ok thanks
Holy crap these kids growin like weeds :-) good to c y’all back on n out there doing all this awesome stuff ❤❤❤
Woohoo! Love the family videos. Hope Wawa doesn't pop the tire lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
i’m about to get a 1993 ford pick up too this video is very inspiring ❤
Awesome
This is like a satisfying cleaning video lol. You guys did a great job!
y'all are a wonderful family and so relaxing to watch keep fixing em up!
Thank you! Will do!
Always great to watch. Love the kids in there helping. They really make the show more than great!
Thank you I am blessed
I just watched your old road trip video and my friend please cut yourself some slack God gave you a precious gift dont sell yourself short you are good enough better than that your an amazing human we need more men like you in this world God Bless ❤❤❤❤
By the sounds of it. Good thing we don't have smell of vision.😂
For sure
My dad bought a brand new 1990 4x4 f150 with 302. He gave it to me when I turned 16 in 1996. Had a straight drive. He taught me how to drive it by taking off going up a hill on a dirt rd. That truck would go anywhere in snow or mud. Wish I still had it.
Another amazing family time video. Great to see Squeezy still staying involved. Really love y’all videos. That Ford come out looking nice. Next the engine..😉 until next video sending Blessings to you and your family 😊
Thank you
Hey my sleeperdude family always a pleasure looking on ...I so love this truck can't wait to see the will it start vid....
Thank you
soo Wawa got fired on winching duty but Squeezee got hired? poor Wawa🤣
Wow that F150 really cleaned up nicely. I can see Ralphie is in heaven with the grin he has the whole time he's working on it. I can see that being his daily driver in the future and then his Vette for some fun. Can't wait to see more of how it turns out in the next episode.
How did Tosh burned the yard lol 😂
Squeezie is really coming around to working on the vehicles. That is really nice to see her becoming so involved. These kids are just wonderful, you and “ Marg “ must be so proud. You scored well on that pick up, the Lariet is just one step down from the King Ranch. Never have been a fan of the twin tanks. The switch mechanism always fails and you’re stuck with a full tank you can’t access. Thanks for sharing with us and making so many people smile.👍👍🇨🇦
I wish it was still the 1990s my friend Josh
Good times
@@Sleeperdude yeah buddy
To help break down the urine smell mix 50/50 white vinegar and water and saturate the carpet. It will have a strong vinegar smell for a little bit but will neutralize the urine. If you can set a fan up on it to help dry it would be good
Gotta name the truck squirrel now
🤣🤣🤣🤣
or corncob
Glad to see squeeze getting a little more involved with the vehicles, she is coming along and she is learning gradually!
Yes she is
You know you're doing good when the kids argue over who gets to work 😉😎❤️
Crazy kids
Ralphie is living large with a corvette and now a pickemup truck. well done, all y'all, on the cleaning.
You got that right!
Wow I thought that would never clean up. I can’t believe that floor is still ok with all the wet stuff in there. You came along at the right time for that truck.
Yeah for sure
Man, I love that truck!! Up here in PA that truck would be GOLD!! They are all rotted up here. Heck that bed would bring a pretty penny up here also!! Great find!!!
Oh wow
Those were great old trucks I grew up riding in f150 those older ones just ran and ran especially with the straight six it brings back memories
Awesome
SLEEPDUDE FAMILY - been a detailer a many years, and my tip to you... squirt bottle in 1 hand, powerwand in the other hand - spray the detergent rite into the powerwash spray.. it will mix and fully bubble up everywhere .. alot quicker and it will cover it alll.. try it .. Randy in North bay Canada
I’ve done several times, take the carpet out, spray it and hang it on the post power wash it
My Brother, You and your wife are so Blessed, To have such amazing kids, and having the time you all spend together. GOD surely has blessed you all, I am a grown man but you guys make me cry with so much Joy.
Get Ralphie to roller paint the truck using oil base exterior or Rust-Oleumcamt wait to see you guys fixer her up, GOD BLESS 🏆👍💪🙏✝️🇺🇸
Thanks so much
Josh, you say alot of stuff like when I met my wife 36 years ago. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
That’s funny
That old truck cleaned up good...nice job to all of y'all
Thank you
The F150 was a real sleeper.....love to see it after a new windshield.....good eye finding this hidden jewel.
Awesome thank you
Another great video.
Thank you
The last Ford I i owned was a 89 F 150 lariat , Less than 12,000 miles it would accelerate on its owned, clutch would stick on the floor, and the radio would have static on it with the bright lights on. It was a junk truck from the start. Traded it in on Chevy the best thing i ever did.
Have fun with the truck.
Sounds like a lemon for sure
New idea idea build your own waste oil fire place to heat the shop with the inflow old dirty oil that’s plent of fuel
Thank you
Murphy is getting big! That F150 is in amazing shape. Great video!!
Nice truck, no boa constrictor under it!!! I had a Lariet with the 302/2V, 4 speed, dual tanks, ABS for work!!! The kids are the sweetest!!! Happy Holidays!!!
