- After trying to load up this truck on our last trip to the junkyard and realizing we didn't have a key for it we are back to finally tow it home. After having a hole in the windshield for 17 years that allowed animals to get inside this truck is so dirty that we are going to have to clean it up before we try to get it running. Did we get a good deal on this 91 F150 short bed V8 truck? Lets give it a full detail and find out.

Dadgum hoodies is already sode out. Recon I’ll just have to wait patiently (foota tappin the whole time..)

My father passed away Monday night. It has been a hard week but your family has brought a much needed smile. You folks may not realize the joy you bring with your videos but it’s real. Thank you and keep it up.
Sorry for your loss, this was the 25th anniversary of my dad’s passing, I learned a lot from the old man 😢
@@stevehilliard1495 everything good that I know came from Pop. That guy could look at headlight from the 40’s and tell you what it came from. He hated modern cars. Said they had no style. He would have lived watching Josh and his family.
😢 sorry for your loss. Sympathy to you and yours.
So sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers to you and yours.
My condolences. I'm thankful you were able to find a spark of happiness to hang on to. Better days are coming. I promise.
I don’t think people realize how much work yall put into y’all’s content. The camera shots. The hours of editing. The sponsor promoting. Keep up the good work. Love watching your videos. Constantly waiting for that new video notification! It’s so cool to watch the channel and the family grow. Thanks for letting us be apart of it.
thank you it is a 14 hour a day 365 day a year job
Love watching your family videos. I always look for a new one but still enjoy watching ones I have already seen. What a wonderful family!
You definitely have the most refreshing and entertaining automotive channel on TH-cam. Every new video is so enjoyable to watch. Keep ‘em coming Josh and Fam!!
Thank you I’m glad you like it
It does my heart good to see the whole group working as a team , most children in todays time are so lazy and disrespectful, they cant get along with their own family. Your group is absolutely AWESOME , You and Tosh have raised some wonderful children , GOD is smiling down on your family unit , He and I both want only the BEST for all of you . Keep on doing what yall do , and show the world how it is supposed to be done . Much LOVE from a cranky old man in East Texas . I would move to your town in a heart beat , if yall would accept an old man as a honorary family member that would help in every situation for free , just to be a part of this AWESOME family
Your channel is the most enjoyable vehicle oriented channel to watch. Your kids are good helpers and Squeezy's smile would melt the hardest heart.
Thank you
I agree a awsome bunch of kidos .
Squeezy is so adorable but what a great close nit family
Dad's gonna need to keep the shotgun loaded as she starts to get older
Yes sir it’s a good thing for Ralphie and you and the whole family
Thank you
@@Sleeperdude your welcome sir
Squeeze has grown so much in the last few months shocked how much she’s grown.
Trucks looking good! 👍
Great video! I brought a 1990 F150, 300 6-cylinder, 5-speed in 1993 for $6999. It had 60k highway miles, but clean as a whistle. I drove it for 7 years and only put a clutch and exhaust on it. Was a great truck and only sold it as I got orders for Japan and knew I did not want it sitting for five years. Hope you get it running and keep it. 👍
If it's not a whiskey dent, then it's a lumber lump. The things you can learn in a day. That's why this channel is the one to watch on TH-cam. Best place to learn all the important information. Thank you Professor Sleeperdude!! All it really needs is a good body man. Now we're all looking at you dad.
Y'all definitely got a jewel in this old ride. Well done y'all. Let's see what y'all can make happen with this one!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣thank you
Much love to you Josh and Tash.
So great to see all y’all’s babies involved in the process. Great entertainment!!!
Awesome sleeperdude and family today.always a joy to watch and a blessing
Glad you enjoyed it
There are many isolated people, that enjoy your content...thank you for sharing your family exsperience, with us!
My first vehicle was an 89 F150 that was handed down to me by my dad when I was 14. I'm 41 years old and I still have it today. Currently working on getting it back on the road.
I've got my dad's 67 F100, I was with him when he bought it..I was 10 and thought it was the best thing on the farm! It still runs good but don't stop as good as it should.
Good ole American family right here y'all.
Just to see them kids work together and get the job done right warms my heart!
Love it!
Thank you
Good to see this sweet loving family making so many people's day relaxing and giving us something worth watching on this Thursday evening. God bless y'all and stay safe and keep the videos coming.
No problem thanks for watching
Y'all are becoming a well oiled Machine! I love how the children always move with purpose. Congratulations on building a great company!❄❄❄❄🎄🎄🎄🎄 I am sure that once you get the truck running and fix a few dents you will not have any problem selling this truck.
Thank you I am blessed
New windshield, get the dents pulled out, a set of rims with other tiny cosmetic odds and ends and it'll look great! It'll be a great farm rig to throw around if the drivetrain is good. I'm excited to see the rescue of the Econoline and the other Falcon's! I bet your favorite is the black Futura.
Yes for sure
I think its in too nice of a condition, depending on the motor, for a field truck .Every thing looks clean under the hood.Fix the dents when you have time and put it on the backburner .It would be a perfect first driver for Ralphie .
This Ford F150 cleaned up so nicely! I'm imagining it will proably just fire up with a fresh battery and a minor engine tune up with new fluids, fresh gas, spark plugs, etc. Super excited for the follow up video. Bring it on! 🙂
That would be cool!
@@Sleeperdude Ice Cold 🙂
Well that's a daily driver right there!!!
Good to see Squeeze getting involved again
Were those the yellow safety glasses I sent??
Awesome video guys 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Thank you
Another awesome video from the Sleeper Dude family love everything you have done ❤😊. Poor Wawa needs hearing aids 😅. Squeeze is starting to like car's well 2% atleast ha ha ha. Keep up the amazing videos and keep them coming 😊❤
Another great video! Can’t wait to see the kids driving around the farm in the F150!! 😂
He slid them yellow safety glasses on like John Travolta with them disco 🕺moves. 😂. Ralphy was impressed They are a awesome family. Good job sending them glasses to them. 🎉🎉🎉
Now you're speaking my language. Its awesome to see more 80-96 f series trucks getting some love. Those 302s were decent but the 300 I6 was the motor to have for durability and reliability. I have an 81 short bed and a 92 short bed both with the 300, need a bricknose to complete the set. Awesome to see you saving this truck.
So awesome that squeeze is starting to get more involved very cool.Dads got a heck of a Crew. God bless your amazing family, and all your beautiful animals 😊❤❤❤❤
I been watching y'all for awhile I love seeing the family adventures, you don't see much of this today, the smiles on y'all's faces is heartwarming ❤
That truck certainly went through a tremendous transformation. Hopefully it runs as good as it looks. Keep up the great work and the excellent videos guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
Very lucky that all that wet, decaying mulch inside the cab didn't rot out the floor and doors bottoms. You saved it just in time. Already a win!
I think you need to rely on hand signals for WaWa until she has her hearing checked. Nothing wrong with it, you might have been given a couple clues for a medical visit. Great job helping on this one SleeperDude Crew! The truck turned out to be much nicer than originally thought. Here's hoping under the hood is too! Thanks for another great video!
These people are just so much fun to watch the whole family is involved it don’t get no better
How is my favorite family on the internet doing? GOD bless y'all!
Doing good
Just came across the channel.. had to subscribe.. I love that not one kid is on a cell phone.. they are polishing rocks.. wrestling and working together to get things done.. that’s the way to bring them up!!! I miss all of this from when I was a kid.. I love this channel!!!
Thank you we try our best to raise them right
Surprised you didn't pull the carpet before pressure washing it, but looks like it cleaned right up and is looking just fine. Nice project!
I was thinking the same, I'd have pulled it and pressure washed out of the truck. Heck, if the truck runs well enough, I'd order another carpet for it and trash that one.
Yeah that would have been the best thing to do
@@Sleeperdude I'm amazed you didn't just open both doors and hit the interior with a leaf blower.
Could have got a nice layer of free compost for the gravel. :)
@@Sleeperdude Yeah there's a ton of padding aka jute under the carpet that holds a lot of dried liquids aka urine etc.
Wetting it like this just reactivates it. It needs to dry from both sides or you can actually end up sick.
I ran a detail business for 15 years.
That looks like a pretty solid truck. A friend of mine had one just like it with a manual transmission that would do nasty burnouts 😄 But living in the North East the wheel arches above the wheels on the bed were completely rusted through even though the truck was maybe 10 years old so it's surprising to see it not all rusted out. Glad to see you have hoodies available I will have to pick one up!
Oh wow
You're so right about the kids getting better with the pressure washer. It was fun to watch them do so good. It's even fun watching Ralphie and Wah Wah arguing about who's gonna wash what. LOL.
They are doing good
I like when they were on the trailer tussling and she flipped him down and he said my glasses 🕶️ I hope they were okay
y'all are a wonderful family and so relaxing to watch keep fixing em up!
Thank you! Will do!
A Sleeperdude video is like a Squeezy painting.... gets a thumbs-up before I even see it.
And Wawa- any time dad gives you too much grief just ask him to explain the spaghetti & frog incident when he was your age. It's still legendary in his old school.
Thank you
Now the community needs details.
spaghetti & frog incident? Can't wait to hear all about it.
I never get tired of the videos or your family.
I love watching this channel grow! Definitely my favorite channel on TH-cam. I grew up helping Dad restore antique cars. Your family so reminds me of the fun working together on a project.
If you ever make it to the Washington state l have a car to give you and a personal tour of an amazing local collection that was once the largest car collection in the world according to the Guinness world records.
Thank you
It is crazy how excited I get even I see a new vid of sleeper dude is out. Love this channel
Awesome thanks
Funny to see Ralphie and Wawa fighting over who gets to pressure wash. I can't even get my kids to rinse out the tub after a bath. 🤣
Best family on the Internet. No politics or other nonsense just good family fun.
Thank you
Safe bet they ain’t democrats
@@bullbutter9699 Who cares has nothing to do with their channel.
@@JenoFletter Was probably just for a chuckle. (maybe relax?)
I like the idea that this is strictly family content. Your kids enjoy being around you and the work that you do on these old vehicles. In today's society, it seems like it's uncommon anymore.
It would be fun to see some pictures of the family when the videos began and now. The kids are growing up fast! The family bond makes your channel extra special.
We have posted a few on instagram. None of them were born when I posted my first video
can't wait to see it run...cool deal cleaning it up.
Ralphy getting tapped out by squeeze is awesome! LOL!
She’s strong
Can't wait to watch it when I get home from work
Awesome thanks
I love watching the videos yall do I never get tired of them or your family.
@@Sleeperdude yep you're welcome
I absolutely love what y’all do. It’s so amazing the transformations. And the fact the whole family is involved is awesome. I had an 87 5.0 liter , AT , long bed , 90 , 5 speed , 4.9 liter, short bed and a 91 , AT, 4.9 liter, extra cab. I love those old ford trucks.
Thank you we have fun
Finally!😂 it's been like 30 days since your last video....Ok it's only been a week but it's seemed like forever 😂. Love your videos and your family. It's so refreshing to have good clean entertainment in this day and age. Your videos have such a calming effect on me after a tough day. Thank you.
I can watch you for hours how you work and how you, as parents, involve the children and they are so happy when they cooperate!! nice family 👍👍
Luc from Belgium
Its awesome see how excited Ralphie gets over a crusty old Ford truck that has sat dead in the woods longer then hes been alive. I loved these trucks when they were still late models and i love em even more today. New trucks are terrible, teaching the kiddos how to keep the old ones on the road gives all us old timers hope for the future.
Yes he has talked about this truck for weeks now
The Sleeperdude family did it again. It is good to see a family get along as nicely as yours. I might add your kids are all nice looking kids.
This is like a satisfying cleaning video lol. You guys did a great job!
I have to tip my (Sleeperdude merch) hat to Josh, Wawa, Ralphie and Squeezy for having the courage to tackle one of the most disgusting car interiors I have ever seen. I am shocked you didn’t find a few live critters or a lot of bones from the critters that once lived in that cab.
The body really did clean up nicely and I think it will make a nice addition to the SD fleet once you get it running.
Thanks for saving yet another classic from such a horrific fate.
👍👍👍
Thank you they did good
Finally 😂 you spoiled us the other week, with extra videos. Seemed like this would never come.
Hope you like it
I love the clean ups on the dirty ones. The power wash did wonders. Ralphie is gonna love driving that truck.
Thank you I’m glad you liked it
Love the 87-91 bricknose Fords. I have 2 currently and have owned several. Very durable and reliable trucks. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.🙂
Good trucks. I have a 1989 F150 Super Cab 5.0/AOD I'm up to 69 fixes on the truck since I bought it in late 2020. Next fix is the shift indicator cable assembly that always breaks!
The 1987 =1991 Ford F-150 is my favorite generation of a Ford
@@jamesrussell6123 Mine too !
Nostalgic truck right there. My grandfather had a all black one and I remember loving when he’d visit ❤
I'd like to see Josh's body and paint skills put to use on this truck, be a great candidate
You get that ol' girl going and I bet she'll outlast a brand new one! Kids, cars, trucks and critters-best channel on YT!
Thank you
By the sounds of it. Good thing we don't have smell of vision.😂
For sure
i’m about to get a 1993 ford pick up too this video is very inspiring ❤
Awesome
Holy crap these kids growin like weeds :-) good to c y’all back on n out there doing all this awesome stuff ❤❤❤
Squeezie is really coming around to working on the vehicles. That is really nice to see her becoming so involved. These kids are just wonderful, you and “ Marg “ must be so proud. You scored well on that pick up, the Lariet is just one step down from the King Ranch. Never have been a fan of the twin tanks. The switch mechanism always fails and you’re stuck with a full tank you can’t access. Thanks for sharing with us and making so many people smile.👍👍🇨🇦
Word of advice Josh pressure washing from the bottom up gives the water carrying the mold and mildew a chance to settle into the lower end and start all over again if you go from the top down itl give it a better shot of not coming back
Love that F-150, I owned a 1989 Ranger until I bought my new 2001 Ranger. When I was young I had a 1970 Mustang Grande, 1973 Duster, 1975 Chevy Impala and at one point I drove a 76 Toyota Corrola, all old junk that I could afford in the day! I wish I had them now!
Awesome thanks
Always great to watch. Love the kids in there helping. They really make the show more than great!
Thank you I am blessed
LMC TRUCK has everything for this truck. I completely restored a 1989 F250. Fuel system and tank switches, body pannels, interior and more.
Ok thanks
Woohoo! Love the family videos. Hope Wawa doesn't pop the tire lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That old truck cleaned up good...nice job to all of y'all
Thank you
Thing was gnarly .. looking forward to the getting it running upload .. .. keep killing it ., “that’s not a knife this is a knife” Knife good find also seems like a good candidate for a turbo can
Thank you will do
thanks for sharing your family with us josh! I love seeing kids and their parents working on cars and being happy together!
Man, I love that truck!! Up here in PA that truck would be GOLD!! They are all rotted up here. Heck that bed would bring a pretty penny up here also!! Great find!!!
Oh wow
It’s my birthday today and you came out with a video on my birthday the best birthday present for today
Happy birthday 🎊🎁🎂
Hey my sleeperdude family always a pleasure looking on ...I so love this truck can't wait to see the will it start vid....
Thank you
soo Wawa got fired on winching duty but Squeezee got hired? poor Wawa🤣
Squeeze was really into the clean up.. Truck cleaned up good. Maybe fill the voids in that seat with some expanding foam? looking forward to the next video on this one.
Yeah that would work
Gotta name the truck squirrel now
🤣🤣🤣🤣
or corncob
IT'S SO NICE TO SEE THE FAMILY INVOLVED IN THE TRUCK RESTORATION, PROJECT.
How did Tosh burned the yard lol 😂
Glad to see squeeze getting a little more involved with the vehicles, she is coming along and she is learning gradually!
Yes she is
Another amazing family time video. Great to see Squeezy still staying involved. Really love y’all videos. That Ford come out looking nice. Next the engine..😉 until next video sending Blessings to you and your family 😊
Thank you
Like that old truck. I had one that was the same body style just not as fancy back in the mid to late 90s. So it would be great to see that one all fixed up.
Very cool!
You know you're doing good when the kids argue over who gets to work 😉😎❤️
Crazy kids
I’m not a family dude. But this family is cool. Sleeperdude and fam totally appreciate each other and it shows. America needs this family and every single one like it more than ever before. Much respect and many thanks
I wish it was still the 1990s my friend Josh
Good times
@@Sleeperdude yeah buddy
The squirrels had fun inside that truck. The best thing to get the smell out of that truck would be charcoal. It will absorb the odor if you leave it sealed up in there overnight. Where I used to live up in the woods we had squirrels all over and they would get into tool drawers in the garage and store acorns there and even found Acorns stuffed into the Air box of my '89 F150. Yours also has dual tanks like my "89 does. I have never had any trouble with EFI on mine and I have 160,000 on my 5.0 liter as well. That is a solid truck just like mine. Thanks for sharing.
Ok cool thanks
Murphy is getting big! That F150 is in amazing shape. Great video!!
Great job cleaning that truck. Very nice! The whole family is amazing.
Thank you
Those were great old trucks I grew up riding in f150 those older ones just ran and ran especially with the straight six it brings back memories
Awesome
Wow I thought that would never clean up. I can’t believe that floor is still ok with all the wet stuff in there. You came along at the right time for that truck.
Yeah for sure
Nice truck, no boa constrictor under it!!! I had a Lariet with the 302/2V, 4 speed, dual tanks, ABS for work!!! The kids are the sweetest!!! Happy Holidays!!!
Wow that F150 really cleaned up nicely. I can see Ralphie is in heaven with the grin he has the whole time he's working on it. I can see that being his daily driver in the future and then his Vette for some fun. Can't wait to see more of how it turns out in the next episode.
The Truck came out super good. I can't wait to see it run.I love to see the whole Family working together. As always I liked and shared and May God bless all of you.
Thank you
I really enjoyed your family in this video, Wa asserting she was going to run the winch next time, Ralphie working his butt off & Squeezy flinging her brother down. Love watching them interact and mature!!
Great find! It bet that with all of your viewers you can probably get ahold of a couple of matching hoops for the rear.
Well you’re working those kiddos to the max. Looks like they’re enjoying it. It may start. At least it’s A roller. Thanks for sharing.
💯👍👊
Ralphie is living large with a corvette and now a pickemup truck. well done, all y'all, on the cleaning.
You got that right!
Nice truck!!!! It has tilt steering push forward on the turn signal lever. I had a 90 I bought new, very similar.
Awesome thanks
Wow! This has to be the most packed, filthy vehicle yet you picked up! Hopefully the drivetrain will still be useful.
I think I've finally found my favorite channel, you guys awesome!
Love the banter between the kids and parents...LOVE IT!
My dad bought a brand new 1990 4x4 f150 with 302. He gave it to me when I turned 16 in 1996. Had a straight drive. He taught me how to drive it by taking off going up a hill on a dirt rd. That truck would go anywhere in snow or mud. Wish I still had it.
Love watching you guy's work together on vehicle's as a family
