Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Without it, I wouldn't have know the pyramid was the peak of Mount Cooke, and I wouldn't have gone looking for it.
Really enjoyed this. I see you changed your mind on drone 😂 - they definitely add in this media! I also like the walk down to the hut as there is a different type of tree that I love.
I'm still not a fan of drones selling a false sense of the experience (e.g. Castle Rock always being represented by a drone shot that you never see as a visitor), but they can sometimes help convey the 'feeling' of the experience if that makes sense. This is probably my most drone-heavy video, I've probably become more restrained as I've gone along!
That first climb from the creek to the cave is sharp and to the point. Didn't help that I had to set up a camera and walk back and forth to it several times, some of which was for takes that I didn't end up using!
It's a good one. Hopefully the area isn't too burnt... I drove past Sullivan Rock and the Monadnocks walk looks like it got quite badly burnt in the recent bushfires but it looked like Mount Cooke wasn't as badly affected

Excellent PSA about not stepping on the moss :)
That was entirely for your enjoyment. Glad it was received as such :)

No worries, glad it was useful to you
Love this video so much! In particular the piano background music!
Thank you! It’s a nice piano piece for sure, felt very suitable to the serenity of the area
Amazing hiking tour mate, still something I’ve yet to but must check it out being a Perth local!
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s a lovely walk, and a bit of a special place given how flat Perth is

Great video, Donovan. Looks like those hills had you puffing a bit (you walk fast)!

Beautiful drone shots Donovan. Thanks for creating this beautiful video of one of my favourite hikes in Perth!
Glad you enjoyed it, it is really one of Perth's best!
We live in such a beautiful place. These shots are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing them.
