also, if you slow down the vid under settings to the speed of .25, you can hear the difference between the first and second versions; but why would you say that in the first place, (as in texting some one but speaking in third person, using the word "her" as if she is texting somebody else, right?) unless another person delivered it for this person? it only makes sense in that case. It could have been Roger (manager) who gave them to her, who may have said something like, "these are from_____ " making sure she knew, because this person would have made sure there wasn't any note attached to it, to keep it secret? If he really looks out for Camila, then he would make sure her beard was believable in public for the general public, while allowing her the freedom to see "this person" in private.
I replayed this part many times, with and without the subtitles.. At one moment, i could swear that I heard "her" too, but finally I figured that's only because you mention it. i don’t think Camila and Lauren’s relationship was ever clearly defined and talked about to each other. they were always volleying between a platonic and romantic relationship, always on and off and it was probably really confusing and hard for the both of them. judging by the amount of indirects they had, it doesn’t seem like they talk about their feelings for each other a lot bc maybe they were afraid of their feelings or of confronting it and voicing it to the other or they were still figuring themselves out. and the fans seeing their chemistry and obvious attraction to each other while the lines of their relationship were blurry and being loud about it made Lauren uncomfortable and so she denied it bc their relationship is in part a friendship and very ambiguous to them both. and judging by the indirects and the interview where C wouldn’t say whether she was single and L said she was taken and the crushed look on C’s face (even though L could have meant she was taken by Camila; they were probably being intimate and crossing the line of friendship here and there), there seems to be a lot of misunderstandings, things left unsaid, etc. and like Camila said in the interview, they loved each other but were in different places (maybe Lauren was still struggling to accept her sexuality? didn’t want to be as open abt their relationship as Camila did?) and tried to stay away from each other, but gave in to their desires, and then separated/became distant again. it seems like this cycle kept repeating w these two.
Love your intepretation and I agree 100%!! Camila & Lauren have both said they've been in "toxic" relationships or been with people who "weren't good" for them and this on/off relationship was hurting them both, outside forces like their families and management didn't help, it only added fuel to the fire. The obvious miscommunication in their relationship is there, in C's "consequences", "in the dark", "sgg" and L's "expectations" and "inside". This is why camren fascinates me so much and why I still have hope in them or at least think they are on good terms, not like what's potrayed in the media, they were genuinely confused about what their relationship was and I think it's definitely more than friendship, to experience this type of intense and deep connection at any point in life can be life changing, I think that's why C said hearing instrumentals to nbts made her think of this person, which she says, she'll literally "never be the same" . When you have a soul mate connection with someone of the same gender during adolescence, it can even be more confusing, when you're trying to find yourself. And when a connection like this falls apart, we can see how soul crushing it can be, C's songs and the initial title "the hurting, the healing & the loving", and how every interview, she says how it was so worth it and she'd even do it again. Another one of many reason why I genuinely believe it was real or it was more than friendship is Camila's unreleased song "must be love" she literally spells it out that it was definitely more than friendship in her lyrics: Must be love Or this wouldn't hurt so much And I wouldn't think so much And I could just give you up, up, oh I could go on and on but i'll leave it at that haha
I agree with you both 100%! I think that Lauren was the one that struggled the most, she also said in an interview that she liked a girl when she was sixteen but was very confused and that people calling her bisexual or gay made her angry because she couldn’t understand how they figured it out and what was about her that made them think that. I think that they also had a lot of pressure from the management to not be together or at least behave in front of the camera and that must have led to a lot of fights between the two especially because you can see how in a lot of interviews C kept staring L or doing things that were pointing obviously to Camren while L was trying harder to hide it. I think C felt rejected and they didn’t talk about all of this (and you can tell by their songs that they had relationship where they didn’t comunicate - expectation, something’s gotta give, in the dark..) Also you can tell by the fact that C many times referred to a relationship she had and described it as “sort of friendship “ so it made me think that they never defined it properly or like in this video "romantic relationship or whatever that was". I think that L in mid 2016 realized though that she wanted to commit and I think that is why she came out, I don’t think she was forced to. Let’s be honest, if she didn’t want to she could have said it wasn’t her in the Laucy photo (honestly I didn’t recognized them) or she’s not so dumb, you’re at a family wedding and you get caught kissing a girl and the photo got leaked?! I say BS. And then she decided to make a photo book with Lucy as a coming out statement?! If she wasn’t ready to do it, none of this would have happened. I think she did it also to tell C that she was ready (at the beginning of Havana - the music video - there’s that guy who comes out of the closet “for YOU”. Like wtf? C, was it necessary?!). She obviously couldn’t come out without saying there was another girl otherwise Camren was automatically confirmed in our mind. I think shit went down tho, and as you said they fell apart, that’s when L was reaaally pissed at Camren fans and after “leaving Lucy” she “started dating Ty” (i could be PR or it could be just her trying to move on or whatever). I don’t know if shit went down bc of management or C or miscommunication or whatever but according to what C says she walked away. Anyways I think that towards the end of 2017 they kinda reconnected and now they’re in good terms. I just know that L tweeted “I am a lover and a fighter. When Camila mentions "Talking to the moon" and how she tells her about a lover and about how shes falling deep for this person who she gives her all to, she also mentions how the moon talks to her about the sun. About how the moon is going through the same experience. Chasing a lover youre not supposed to have, or a lover that is so far from your reach. But also the tweet about the sun and moon meeting during an eclipse is maybe her reffering to how the person she likes and her give in at times. Like she said, they like each other, but they cant be together because the other person is holding back on certain aspects of the relationship, or is scared or nervous about showing the world their love. Other proof. Her recent tweet which said "I have late night conversations with the moon, she tells me about the sun and I tell her about you." The moon is not the lover. She identifies herself as the moon because she feels like the story of the sun and the moon in a way correlates to her love with the person she likes. The person she likes is not the sun. She identifies them as the sun because of certain aspects. They are two different 'relationships' but the same story. And thats beautiful. I think thats why shes obsessed with the 'sun and moon' story. Because she went through the exact same thing. Also, when she says in the song "I ask her (moon) to please tell me if you (secret lover) tell things to her too." She doesnt mention if the moon did or didnt tell her. I'm a big, delusional camren shiper, but despite that, if they have feelings for each other or a secret relationship in the present day, I just hope at some point they find the courage to come out with it. I get it that it would be super hard with the media dissecting everything about their relationship then, but even so I believe that everyone deserves to be happy, especially those two precious women, and be themselves, and if their current relationships are PR and their management or contracts or whatever dictate their public love life I don't think that, being the people they seem to be, they would be happy. The footage from 7/27 tour also proved Lauren was the one who always care about Camila. About the ball hit Camila during the show, about giving her mic to Camila, about crying during 'no way' song and etc. Plus, before the splitting (in 2016) in most interviews or occasions (e.g:award), Camila prefer to sit beside Lauren. 5. I think they are still in good term, just they can't show it because people always mistakes them as a relationship. The first time I heard ‘I only told the moon”, I knew something was up. It’s so bad quality which made it sm more authentic, raw and emotional. It’s not for the public or money, it’s for venting. And the way she referred to the moon is so smart and beautiful. After that, I realized hm I find interest in the mind of Camila.
I think that Dinah could’ve possibly been the third party friend involved with their friendship/relationship to give them advice individually. That’s just my opinion, because Camilla and Dinah were also very close, and in the videos when the group broke up you can see Dinah effected by it. I think it means that all that's going through me head is you and when I reflect it's only you. The moon represents chaos and the night. The night is exciting but scary. It's the unknown. It could have been Roger (manager) who gave them to her, who may have said something like, "these are from_____ " making sure she knew, because this person would have made sure there wasn't any note attached to it, to keep it secret? If he really looks out for Camila, then he would make sure her beard was believable in public for the general public, while allowing her the freedom to see "this person" in private.

i don’t think Camila and Lauren’s relationship was ever clearly defined and talked about to each other. they were always volleying between a platonic and romantic relationship, always on and off and it was probably really confusing and hard for the both of them. judging by the amount of indirects they had, it doesn’t seem like they talk about their feelings for each other a lot bc maybe they were afraid of their feelings or of confronting it and voicing it to the other or they were still figuring themselves out. and the fans seeing their chemistry and obvious attraction to each other while the lines of their relationship were blurry and being loud about it made Lauren uncomfortable and so she denied it bc their relationship is in part a friendship and very ambiguous to them both. and judging by the indirects and the interview where C wouldn’t say whether she was single and L said she was taken and the crushed look on C’s face (even though L could have meant she was taken by Camila; they were probably being intimate and crossing the line of friendship here and there), there seems to be a lot of misunderstandings, things left unsaid, etc. and like Camila said in the interview, they loved each other but were in different places (maybe Lauren was still struggling to accept her sexuality? didn’t want to be as open abt their relationship as Camila did?) and tried to stay away from each other, but gave in to their desires, and then separated/became distant again. it seems like this cycle kept repeating w these two.
Love your intepretation and I agree 100%!! Camila & Lauren have both said they've been in "toxic" relationships or been with people who "weren't good" for them and this on/off relationship was hurting them both, outside forces like their families and management didn't help, it only added fuel to the fire. The obvious miscommunication in their relationship is there, in C's "consequences", "in the dark", "sgg" and L's "expectations" and "inside". This is why camren fascinates me so much and why I still have hope in them or at least think they are on good terms, not like what's potrayed in the media, they were genuinely confused about what their relationship was and I think it's definitely more than friendship, to experience this type of intense and deep connection at any point in life can be life changing, I think that's why C said hearing instrumentals to nbts made her think of this person, which she says, she'll literally "never be the same" . When you have a soul mate connection with someone of the same gender during adolescence, it can even be more confusing, when you're trying to find yourself. And when a connection like this falls apart, we can see how soul crushing it can be, C's songs and the initial title "the hurting, the healing & the loving", and how every interview, she says how it was so worth it and she'd even do it again. Another one of many reason why I genuinely believe it was real or it was more than friendship is Camila's unreleased song "must be love" she literally spells it out that it was definitely more than friendship in her lyrics:

I think that Lauren was the one that struggled the most, she also said in an interview that she liked a girl when she was sixteen but was very confused and that people calling her bisexual or gay made her angry because she couldn’t understand how they figured it out and what was about her that made them think that.
I think that they also had a lot of pressure from the management to not be together or at least behave in front of the camera and that must have led to a lot of fights between the two especially because you can see how in a lot of interviews C kept staring L or doing things that were pointing obviously to Camren while L was trying harder to hide it. I think C felt rejected and they didn’t talk about all of this (and you can tell by their songs that they had relationship where they didn’t comunicate - expectation, something’s gotta give, in the dark..)
Also you can tell by the fact that C many times referred to a relationship she had and described it as “sort of friendship “ so it made me think that they never defined it properly or like in this video "romantic relationship or whatever that was".
I think that L in mid 2016 realized though that she wanted to commit and I think that is why she came out, I don’t think she was forced to. I'm a big, delusional camren shiper, but despite that, if they have feelings for each other or a secret relationship in the present day, I just hope at some point they find the courage to come out with it. I get it that it would be super hard with the media dissecting everything about their relationship then, but even so I believe that everyone deserves to be happy, especially those two precious women, and be themselves, and if their current relationships are PR and their management or contracts or whatever dictate their public love life I don't think that, being the people they seem to be, they would be happy. I felt bad and sorry for Lauren because people always misjudged her and said she hurt Camila or share/tweet some shady comment when we really never know what happened and like I said maybe the tweet or shady comment is not about Camila at all, like at 1.32 from this video. Plus, in 2017, she still want to post the photo of Billboard's 100 best songs of 2017 in which didn't have her own pic yet had Camila in that photo just because she don't hate Camila like people said.
4. The footage from 7/27 tour also proved Lauren was the one who always care about Camila. About the ball hit Camila during the show, about giving her mic to Camila, about crying during 'no way' song and etc. Plus, before the splitting (in 2016) in most interviews or occasions (e.g:award), Camila prefer to sit beside Lauren.
5. I think they are still in good term, just they can't show it because people always mistakes them as a relationship. The first time I heard ‘I only told the moon”, I knew something was up. It’s so bad quality which made it sm more authentic, raw and emotional. It’s not for the public or money, it’s for venting. And the way she referred to the moon is so smart and beautiful. After that, I realized hm I find interest in the mind of Camila.
I think that Dinah could’ve possibly been the third party friend involved with their friendship/relationship to give them advice individually.
