The tour bus story speaks volumes of Em as a parent. For most parents, if a rap star asked if your 9 yr old little girl could go out of state on their tour bus, answer would be an instant "Hell NO!" They had to have great respect for him as a parent, with full trust he was responsible and having seen he always put the kids first. That says a lot.

I agree wholeheartedly! For other parents to trust letting their young child go on a rappers tour bus, says a lot about his parenting and him as a father. Em should be proud. He made sure to give his daughter a humble upbringing and he achieved just that! It’s clear to see that has been his main focus all these years.
It must be crazy because to Hailie it’s just her “dad”, not this Rap God legend. Seen him in 2019 at the Boston Calling Music Festival and it was literally the highlight of my life, out in the freezing cold pouring rain. Eminem didn’t even take a break for an almost 2 hour show of back to back hits in the rain! Even at his age now, the man has some serious stamina! 💗

I just gotta say, when I think of a rapper's son/daughter, I always automatically expect them to speak the same way and be like a mini-version of their dads or a little off and wacky. I went in assuming I’d hear a typical podcast of a famous persons kid, but damn was I blown away by how natural Halie sounded as a podcast host. No awkward pauses or anything she’d make you believe she’s a 10yr vet at this. I’m really excited to hear more!

This podcast is a great idea. I've heard so much about Hailie through her dad's music (which I'm a massive fan btw) but it's cool to actually hear from her more about herself. Glad you guys are doing this
I love that this isn’t a podcast about Eminem. It’s about little shady, her likes and dislikes, every day life and feelings. She grew up well! They mentioned Nicki Minaj , who Eminem has worked with, they mentioned the minion movie soundtrack, which em did a song for, and they even mentioned the Elvis movie which Em also did a song for. But they didn’t need to name drop or even acknowledge those connections, because it’s not about that. They are speaking about normal life and how they relate to it as normal people. So interesting and fun to watch!

I love this podcast. Your life from the way you lived it. I remember you being on ems tracks and in videos and being kept out of public as much as possible. But I’ve been following you and your sisters for a couple years now. And it’s so lovely to see how great your relationships are and how much you’re grown into a beautiful lovely woman.
