When I was a teenager I used to call my friend and we’d be on the phone for hours. Now, we exchange very long WhatsApp messages with each other. It’s not the same though, it’s like leaving a 20 minute monologue and not being able to interject with anything whilst listening to one. But we’re both in our 30s and don’t have the time to chat on a phone, so it’s the next best thing.
I feel it’s not the same; but it’s as good as. You need to talk to your friends. To get stuff off your chest. It’s as good as therapy

I like Marcia Clarke, HOWEVER, she needs to LISTEN, JOT DOWN A SMALL NOTE, [so she can remember his answer] so she does NOT KEEP ASKING HIM THE SAME REPETITIVE/REDUNDANT QUESTION. If I was the witness, I would have said, maam, I just told you the answer, are not taking notes, or are you not paying attention?) she's driving me nuts with this questioning.

Kato is partly on OJs side and partly on Nicoles. He tries to defend OJ as much as he can without lying. He's caught in the middle. He's a bit uncomfortable. That's why it seems that Marcia Clark is being way too detailed. But she has to because Kato is only giving as short answers as possible. Clark is actually doing a good job here. Kato is almost a hostile witness.

@@TammyM36 I recommend to you to watch Johnnie Cochrane's opening statement in the trial. He details the amount of lavish support OJ showered on all the Brown family members. Cars, houses, cash, tuitions, jobs (including Lou's dealership with Hertz, OJ's sponsor) ...etc. Then he details and rebut the stalking after divorce narrative. He bought Nicole her Bundy house in her own name. And he earlier bought her two condos (one to rent in SF, and one in Orange County to vacation in). Gave her extra $40k a month just for food. Caught her having sex with Keith, then showed up the next day at Bundy to tell them his children were sleeping upstairs and could have seen them. .... I mean he just goes on and on about OJ. ...I don't know, this whole motive thing is weak. And then you have Mark Fuhrman.

If Kato actually went through the second gate behind the guest house and found the glove (or OJ followed through with helping him find a flashlight and went with him through the second gate behind the guest house where they both could have stumbled across the glove while investigating the sound), the whole perspective of this case would have been different (remember, that the glove was supposedly planted by Fuhrman). July 25, 2023: Marcia is the one who gave the case to OJ's defense team, especially after she accused Kato of being a 'hostile' witness. (Kato....a sweet, naive guy from Wisconsin.) He is still convinced of OJ's guilt....a HORRIBLE crime. P.S. Now, Kato is married and owns his own home.

my 2nd theory regarding Kato is this: Kato heard a loud sound that night emitting from the other side of this bedroom wall, hours later a bloody glove was found in the exact location Kato indicated the sound had come from. majority of people believe the sound Kato heard was actually OJ running into the air conditioning unit that protrudes out of Kato's wall & over a narrow path at the side of OJ's house when he was trying to sneak back into his estate unnoticed by anybody (especially the limo driver). Kato however described the sound in court as three thumbs or three loud knocks...Johnny Cochran referred to the sound as "a signal"..."and more of a "KNOCK - KNOCK - KNOCK" sound. could OJ have placed the glove containing Nicole & Ron's blood along the path intentionally & knocked on Kato's wall to get his attention & to make Kato curious. OJ then leaves for Chicago & probably wants Kato to go investigate, find the glove, pick it up (getting his fingerprints all over it). What could/would Kato do then? He'd either take the glove in his room and go back to sleep or throw the glove in the trash and go back to sleep? Either way when detectives come to OJ's later in the morning after discovering the bodies, they're going to find Kato in possession of a glove with Ron & Nicole's blood on it - how does he explain that one? I don't think "I found it" would cut it with the LAPD. he also knew the alarm code (OJ made sure of that when he called Kato from the limo to arm the house alarm, OJ gave Kato the code) so OJ has access to the house, I assume he'd then have access to the keys for the Brono, access to OJ's bedroom (any evidence found in OJ's bedroom could've been planted by Kato) etc. was OJ trying to frame Kato (albeit in a very weak, rushed & poorly thought out way but then again its not as if the murders were done with much thought) or possibly present Kato as a potential fall guy or alternative killer eventually if OJ went to trial? what do you think?

If OJ and kato left 9.10pm, and in the Bentley, where the fuck is the bronco?
It was not in the road, it was not in the drive way.
It was not there at 1020pm when Park the limo car arrived, it is because JASON was driving the bronco. Jason’s girlfriend had jasons black jeep.
At the time of the murders, 940-10pm OJ was at rockingham chipping balls and packing.
Nicoles watch stopped at 9.59pm, when she was attacked.
Ron arrived with the glasses at 945pm.
The passer by guy heard shouting at 10- 10.10pm, hey hey hey... this Ron shouting at the attacker to get off of Nicole as the attacker came from the back gate.
The attacker hit Nicole on the head, she fell, Passed out, not dead, banged her watch as she fell down the steps.
Then Ron attacked the attacker. A long brawl, attacker losing his hat in the process. Nicole was still alive, when he was done with Ron, he returned to Nicole, dripping blood on her back, and slit her throat 3 times.
He then left via the back gate.
The attacker was Jason. He was pissed because Nicole and her 10 family members didn’t go to Jackson’s for dinner, after he told everyone and prepared all day for this meal.
Nicole went to mezzaluna, because it was cheaper.... which is BS because the food was pretty much the same price.
Jason left Jackson’s in a rage, at 920/930pm.. after the last meal went out. The buss boy confirmed on a Sunday after 9pm it’s quiet.
Jason’s girlfriend turned up to pick him up, but he was in such a rage, she left and went home, arrived and left in Jason’s jeep.
Jason had the bronco, that’s how he got to work that day. HE HAD THE BRONCO, not OJ that day.
So he gets bundy at 945/50...bangs the back gate, Nicole was already outside with Ron.
After shouting, arguing, swearing at each other, she walks away from him towards Ron, where he pushes her, and uses the butt of the knife on the top of her head, knocks her out...
The rest you know. After the attack he strips to his undershirt and pants and socks, he has his chefs clothes on.
He then Drives to rockingham, Arriving approx 1015pm. Tells OJ what has happened, they BOTH go back to bundy as the kids are alone, and OJ is like what the fuck have you done.
When they get there, OJ has his gloves on, and the Bruno Marley shoes. Goes to the back, seen by the private investigator Martin.
OJ goes in via the back gate, sees the scene, takes off one glove to feel Nicole’s pulse, drops the glove in shock as her head is almost severed.
Turns around knowing he stepped in the blood. And it’s on his trousers now, takes his shoes and trousers off and heads back to the bronco. Gets in the passenger side, Jason drives back to the restaurant. Where he changes into the clothes he arrives at work in, clocks out at 1020pm. As seen on his time card.
OJ drives like mad to get to rockingham, seen by Shivley.
Arrives in a panic, parks weirdly.
Sees the limo parked at the other gate, goes around the side, climbs the fence, cuts his finger so bad in anger he bangs the wall 3 times. Drops the other clove, walks to the front of the house, and goes in but he is seen walking WeirdY as he has no shoes on.
OJ answers the door, says I’ll be rig(t down.
Kato comes out, goes around and lets the limo in.
OJ shoes and trousers in the small bag, this is the one he gets rid of in the dumpster at
    LAX seen by the tourist.
    The rest you know.
Summery, Jason killed Nicole and Ron.
    OJ covered for his son.
It was Jason’s black hat, after this night he is photoed wearing a grey one,
There was not enough evidence to get OJ, so the police planted the blood at the bundy scene and on the socks in OJ’s bedroom. This is the missing 1.5cc of missing blood from the vile that had the edta in.
    The glove WAS NOT planted.
This is my theory, it all fits. Jason was a fucking lunatic. Cutting his ex girlfriend hair with a knife, his diary entry’s, and was on next level meds, which he stopped after OJ stopped paying for them.
Jason was the first one at the bronco after the chase to stop his dad killing himself.
OJ got off because they could not 100% link home to killing them, just that he may have been there.
    What do you all think?

    As mumbly bumbly as Kato’s
testimony is. If you eventually iron it out, and pay attention to the times he answers it matches Allan Park’s timeline pretty remarkably.
Kato knows the lights inside the house were off downstairs with the one light on upstairs just like Allan Park said. But he has an oh shit! moment when he thinks about the consequences if he answers too precisely. “I mean I think they were on”

    • @jodiefinney5072
      @jodiefinney5072 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Kato and Allen Park were the most important witnesses in the entire trial. They established the timeline and the rest fell into place. Then the jury took this crucial crucial evidence, threw it out the window, and let a double murderer walk free because he was famous.

@@jodiefinney5072 I completely agree with you and with that said, I think Marcia really screwed up with Kato. She's mostly reasonable and tame in the preliminaries but in the criminal trial, she decided she didn't like him so she makes the grave mistake of bullying, humiliating and twisting him into a pretzel, with a seeming end goal to try and destroy his credibility. Foolish!
And some of the moments were absolutely cringe worthy. TWO moments in particular...
      1. "The trip to McDonald's" - Marcia takes the approach of trying to embarrass him by snidely saying "you invited yourself to go along?" (which got immediate giggles from everyone in the room, including the jury). Then, to add insult to injury (quite literally) she said "did he seem really excited to come along?" (his jab back was priceless BTW).
What she should have done was release the fangs and hone in on that moment. Instead say "what was his demeanor when you asked?" She would have then gotten out of him that there was an awkward pause. They WANT you to think the awkward pause was because he overstepped his bounds with a celebrity but I don't believe that had anything to do with it. My gosh, the guy spent CHRISTMAS with OJ. They were undoubtedly friends!.
So why the long pause? Simple. OJ had no intention of going to McDonald's. He was in a hurry to go over to Nicole's and commit the crime. Kato twarted those plans.
      2. Returning from McDonald's" - yet another long pause as Kato began to head to the main house. Again, OJ wasn't frustrated because he wanted to eat alone and not in the presence of Kato. He was frustrated because if Kato ate with him, there would have been another stall in OJ's plans. Heck! She and Ron might even still be alive if Kato said "screw it! I want to eat in a comfortable dining room tonight. I'm going in." Ponder THAT.
And what did Marcia do with these two important moments? Glossed right over them and aimed to just humiliate him more.
Again, Foolish layering and two grave missed opportunities.

    • @audreyann1975
      @audreyann1975 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

I think we know for sure for the past 25 yrs. Who else was in that narrow alley banging around in the dark dropping the glove at approximately 10:? OJ Simpson! He was sneaking back into the property. Fuhrman did not plant the glove or anything else! It is absurd to even suggest. OJ sneaking back onto the property fits the whole scheme of things. The limo driver getting no response to the bell for 15 minutes while waiting outside. So Fuhrman grabbed the glove and scraped up some blood and left these things around where they thought OJ would be on his property? The drops of blood came straight from source! To think these 4 Detectives snuck some evidence in their pockets and planned to frame OJ Simpson is insane. Makes absolutely no sense. By the time these cops got to the scene it was a few hours later. Blood dries quickly depending on the amount! Vannatter got there at 4:05 am. Lange got there at 4:25 am. Lange was the last to arrive out of all 4 detectives. All 4 detectives left Bundy for OJ'S house at 4:55 am. Do you really think that from the last detective arriving at 4:25 am to the time all 4 left Bundy to go to Rockingham they made a plan to frame OJ Simpson for this horrific crime?? They all agreed to it and had no problem with it!? They knew this crime would be beyond high profile. I cannot even begin to understand why people find it so hard to believe that this maniac wife beater who was harassing her and sneaking around her property spying on her through her windows, threatening her with death would kill her. They find that so improbable but these 4 Detectives framing OJ Simpson is believable. 4 detectives who haven't a motive to want to frame him. It isn't even logical! They didn't care about him. The man was up in the air when the bodies were discovered. These detectives knew nothing about OJ Simpson. It's just crazy to think. I don't mean to sound rude, I'm just trying to make a point! ☺

He had malace against interracial couples (were the man is black and the female is white, it's on record). He knew the property's location from a 1989 call and encountered them in 1985.
He pleaded The 5th when confronted about it. He was also convicted (pleaded no-contest) of perjury, when he lied under oath.

@@HusseinDoha Impossible. Officers arrived at Bundy hours before Fuhrman did, and no one saw a right-hand glove. There was only a left-hand glove at the murder scene. So where did the right-hand glove come from? Keep in mind, this was a rare, expensive glove AND it was soaked in the victims' blood.
The crime scene was crawling with cops, including other detectives. Does anyone seriously believe Fuhrman could have smuggled a bloody glove away from the crime scene without getting the blood all over himself, jumped the fence with that glove, and dropped it behind Kato's bungalow without anyone else noticing?
      Impossible.
Consider this too: OJ was in Chicago at the time. A timeline had not yet been established. Fuhrman surely would have known that, if OJ had an airtight alibi, that he would have been found out and potentially imprisoned? Why would he put himself at that risk? Fuhrman is a very bad guy, of course, but unlike OJ Simpson, he never murdered anyone.

    • @ingurlund9657
      @ingurlund9657 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Kato would have found the glove and would then have been sure someone was on the property. He would probably have then called the police who would have been at Rockingham at 11.30pm or so hunting the grounds for an intruder. Then the bodies would be found at Bundy at 12.10am. The cops who went to Rockinghamfrom from Bundy at 6am and asked Kaelin if anything strange had happened last night would have had him telling them that yes I called the cops and there was a bloody glove behind the house.
      OJ would have been toast.

i've always suspected that Kato was Nicole & OJ's cocaine connection/supplier. i mean they met for the very first time in Aspen, Colorado which is famous for its high peaks, mountains & snowfall and a very popular holiday destination for the rich & famous, especially those who like to ski. the snow however isn't the only white thing that Aspen is famous for, because of the people that live & holiday in Aspen, cocaine is also very readily available, extremely popular & constantly in-demand. my theory is somebody told Nicole, "hey, see that dopey & innocent looking blonde guy, he's got the best cocaine in Aspen" & their friendship began. why else would they meet in Aspen for the very first time & then months later she invited him to her house because she was throwing a party (and probably needed cocaine to supply to her guests/friends), Kate attended the party, saw Nicole's empty guesthouse at the back & they made arrangements for him to move...who does that? it obviously benefits Kato to live in Brentwood, L.A. for next to no rent & it benefits Nicole to have her cocaine supplier a stones-throw away.

Miss Clark is just wasting time in the courtroom with, is this that and is this that and jumping from one question to another as if she doesn't know what to ask next she's confusing that hell out of the jury. It's obvious that she's trying to get a contradictory statement out of the witness. She goes from the gate to the front door to how the gate works to describing the weather she's lost.

Wouldn't it had been great if Kato found the glove. I think that would of killed the defense theory that OJ was being framed.

With Johnny Cochran's home picked Jury. OJ was sure to walk. They all hated Marsha Clark the wanna be TV Star in her Mini Skirts and expensive hair dos. Marsha became a multi millionaire on the OJ Trial of the Century!
