    Thats a nice piece considering 1940s almost Georgian in its simplicity, good restoration.

      This was not a restoration this was a re-finish. The client completely had him change the style of the original piece.

      It’s definitely very full for a garage! You can never have enough tools.

    What was the purpose of the seal coat?

      It’s basically just a coat to seal the wood to stop uneven absorption of the finish. If you don’t use seal coat you would probably just have to do an extra coat, it’s not necessary just a little more convenient.

    I know you did what the client asked for, but the piece is just ugly now in its style. YOU did nice work, but to me, the piece is just ruined by the ugly hardware and the horribly ugly new base.
