It’s basically just a coat to seal the wood to stop uneven absorption of the finish. If you don’t use seal coat you would probably just have to do an extra coat, it’s not necessary just a little more convenient.
I know you did what the client asked for, but the piece is just ugly now in its style. YOU did nice work, but to me, the piece is just ruined by the ugly hardware and the horribly ugly new base.
Really a great transformation ❗👍
I also appreciate having no annoying background music!
Just beautiful! Love it!
Thank you!
I love how you don't have distracting background music, like some people do. Nice job!
Thank you! I try to keep it minimal input from me, but I appreciate any feedback.
Agree!
Great looking outcome.
Thank you!
Thats a nice piece considering 1940s almost Georgian in its simplicity, good restoration.
Thank you! Yes it was a really simple piece, well built but simple.
This was not a restoration this was a re-finish. The client completely had him change the style of the original piece.
Looks awesome!!
Thank you!
what is the hose you attached to your Surf Prep - it looks so much more flexible! I want one!
It’s from my festool vac! I have a festool midi I believe.
Would love to have all of tools you have
It’s definitely very full for a garage! You can never have enough tools.
What was the purpose of the seal coat?

This is not a dresser----its a chest!
