I miss him so much, even though I can still listen to his music and watch videos of some of his performances.
The great thing about these old TH-cam clips is that it shows the kind of entertainment and incredible talent that could be enjoyed routinely on simple network television all those years ago. Really makes me long for the "good old days." But time marches on, and it waits for no one. RIP Glen and John, thanks for the memories!

Glen has been reunited with John today and I can only imagine how wonderful that Heavenly band must now sound. Thank goodness they have left us with many years of fantastic Music.

John Denver's death was tragic, but he was doing what he loved to do when he died.. It was so tragic to lose him at a young age. At least he died quickly without suffering, I imagine. I was referring to.the curse of Alzheimer's when I said it was sad how they both died. Glen ,though he lived a long life, suffered a long decline that was horrible for his family, and I'm sure scary for him.
My sentiments exactly. I discovered this video by chance and am so happy I did. It comes from a time when people were much freer and relaxed with each other. A tremendous performance.

A song of my childhood. So many things John and Glen sing about, I knew them as I was growing up. A simpler time, and maybe a better time. No electronic gadgets butwe did just fine without them. Wish I could go back, time's just too busy now.

I grew up in a village with no TV, radio or much electricity period. We made up our own fun. Spent the first 11 years of my life roaming all over the hills around our village. Got filthy, got a scolding and then a hug every evening. Got my schooling at home and got a good Classical education (rivals private schools). Had a great time.
When this came out I was a kid. I grew up and as a middle aged man I moved to the suburb near my states largest city. I can’t believe I been gone 25 years. I miss home and wanna go home. I hope I get there.

I saw Glen in concert twice in Colorado, but didn't get to see John Denver live. Both of them had great voices- what great harmony! RIP Glen!
