I saw him on a short tour just before his crash. I was so sad when I heard the news. John Denver was an amazing songwriter, singer, conservationists & humanitarian. He was truly a soul who was greater than the sum of the many talents he possessed.
How is it possible that one singer can so beautifully and passionately express and share the human experience like a bed time story to a frightened child on a stormy night in such a clear and simple a way that everyone can identify with it . . . . leaving us with this aching, empty feeling when the song reaches its end? John did it so well with this song, with Looking for Space, with Annie’s Song, with Take Me Home Country Roads, with How Can I leave You Again..... John had the divine gift to draw those loving and compassionate human feelings from deep within our spirit that are so often ignored, buried, and lost in the noise and troubles of modern society. We badly need him now but it seems we shall not see his like again.....
@John Woods Can you make a comment without being nasty? I have my opinion, you have your opinion. If being an asshole to some random stranger on a YEAR old comment makes you feel good, seek help. Immediately.
I was just thinking this myself today. I live such a complicated life, no one can know. But he gets me thru’ just as he always did decades & decades back.
Johns talent's were so amazing. He never gets credited as a guitarist but his guitar playing and his voice was all that was needed to fill an auditorium. John lived a short life giving so much joy to people even when he was sad.
His talents and equally his presence filled auditoriums. I had the privilege of seeing him perform live once in Pittsburgh, near the end of his life, and I'll never forget it. I felt like he reached out and touched me, singing to me directly. What a gift.
Yes, he was truly amazing, as a songwriter, singer, guitarist, performer, and actor. There was a time back in the 1970s when he was one of biggest stars around, with hit singles and albums, TV shows, movies, and covers of his songs by other artists. But this concert is how I enjoy John Denver the most: just him, his guitar, his voice and songs, and his rapport with the audience. Such pure and magical artistry.
never got to see this incredible talent live and i was 11 when he died, (i still remember watching the Today show segment that following Tuesday morning two days after he died and i was just stunned and just kept looking at the shots of the rescue boat and just thinking, "no way, it wasn't that bad. it was just a small glitch. i'm sure he's fine".) i just couldn't process it.") and again, at the time i was only 11 but i knew and could sing Annie's Song, Country Roads and Rocky Mountain High spot on. he was one of my biggest inspirations to pick up the guitar and now im working towards an EP because of inspirations like him! Thank you John for your voice, your talent and your never ending inspiration! You are loved and missed still and your music forever lives!
John, those were beautiful days when you placed your musical footprint upon Earth, and called to her soul. Thank you for sharing this gentle depth with us. You will always have a place in my heart. Rest in peace.
Just found this. I'd been listening to John singing Calypso over the last week, and played it several times. Can't believe its over 20 years since the world lost this fabulous singer. His voice was like silk, and all his songs had such meaning. As a rock fan myself, I do believe that John was so worth listening to he was up there with the very very best of 20th century musicians. He is sorely missed.
I saw him in Austin in one of his very last shows and sitting close and center to stage. I was given a set of strings from one of his guitars he played that night. Thank you for this video, it's impossible to choose a favorite song but if forced, Amazon would be one of them❤️What a gift and presence he was to us, there are really no words.
A huge thanks for this. He launched my musical career which is still thriving. He has also been the motivation for my twelve string obsession which began when I was handed his twelve after a show he did. He let me play it for a few minutes and was so gracious and supportive of my playing that I went out and bought the same model guitar the next day. RIP John. You are greatly missed every day.
Hello 👋 Charlotte. How are you doing ? Hope are you fine. Im Scott Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from . You seem like a real country girl
John's voice was like no other. He died from a broken heart. He was a spiritual being having a human experience. When one has such a soulful excellent voice like he had, it is extremely difficult to fit into 'regular' humanity. I was born with a voice similar to his and walked away from a recording contract at 17 yo in Nashville. I missed my horse. I knew I mentally/physically would not be able to withstand the rigors of touring. John's heart grew heavy and sad. Like Hank Williams' song 'Men With Broken Hearts' said, John unfortunately became such a man. John's spirit lives on for us. Today in the sunshine, walking with a friend, I burst out singing 'Sunshine on My Shoulders'. Thank you sotvomike for sharing this. The first song seems to be talking about himself - autobiographical. USA🥰
Take Me Home, Country Roads / My FAVORITE song by John Denver. My Sweet Lady & Like A Sad Song / 2 songs that are too hard and too sad to listen to. Such a loss. There will never be another singer like Mr. Denver. 😔
I saw his last concert in Baltimore in September 97''. His sound was impeccable. Aside from Tom Petty who also has a great live show, John never missed a beat. RIP John you will ALWAYS be missed.
Every time I listen to his music it makes me cry because he was a beautiful soul with the most beautiful voice and there will never be anyone like him. His fans will always love him and the time I saw him in concert was the best day of my life I shall remember it always. May JD rest in peace and I know he is still singing in heaven God blessed him with the talent to entertain all his fans!
Thank you for posting this video Mike. I love John Denver, his beautiful soaring voice was still in perfect form. That year thhe World lost 3 famous lovely people, Princess Diana, Mother Theresa, & John Denver. That was also the year I lost my wonderful mother.
sotvomike - from the depths of my heart, I thank you for sharing this, his last performance. Hope you find pleasure in knowing that you're sharing this with people who fell in love with JD's songs and what he did to make the world a better place. There will NEVER be anyone quite like him. Singers/ song writers come and go but there'll always be one John Denver. Much health and happiness to you and yours Sotvomike. Sa long JD... you're missed every single second with each passing day. :(
I just a young man from gen-Z, but i love listening to John Denver's Songs. What a wonderful piece of art, it's a trully perfection. First time ever i knew John denver's songs was "Leaving on the jet plane" And "Take me home country roads", My daddy introduce me to that when i was a little kid 😊. We all shall never forget John Denver one of the best musician of all times 😌.
John forever changed the texture and meaning of being alive. Through his music, there was beauty and magic in living. His presence was a life-changing event before he ever sang or played a note. John possessed intangible qualities and attributes that have forever changed the world we live in. All sentient beings, all manner of life, and the earth itself suddenly mattered and responded accordingly. All the stars, galaxies, and the whole of the universe have consciously shared in our happiness, joy, and loving memories of John's life.
I saw him in concert in the early 1990's. His voice was so beautiful, full of color, it quivered, such a marvelous gift. He wore a flowered shirt and a gold chain, and played the piano at Canada's Wonderland. I will never forget it.
I wish I could go back in time and say "don't get in that Long Eze". Ah, such is life. John Denver was a true gentleman. His love still shines through today. What a man.
John Denver WAS my life. He took me to places in my mind that I still visit today. In real life or in dreams John is there. From the top of the Rockys to West Virginia to the depth of the ocean. His voice lingers on.
My husband and I saw John in concert back in '75 or 76". It was a magical night, one that meant everything to us as we loved John's music. My husband has joined John in paradise. I can imagine him sitting there among the masses before John as he performs for all of heaven.
he was such a big part of my growing up years. His music was so beautiful and times were good ,the world was good. Thank God for John Denver. RIP Bless the family
I'm 64 years old and became a fan when I got his greatest hits album for Christmas when I was a youngster. His music had a profound effect on me and struck my soul like a lightening bolt. I was forever changed. No artist has ever spoken to my heart like John Denver did. ❤
I am 72 years and i started loving his music since my early twenties. just can't get enough. Some days are diamonds is the song that got me hooked when i was a young man. It is so real about life. One day you are up there the next day you are down.
WOW! His last concert! Thank you for your persistence in taping as much as you could - who knew it would be his last one! I still miss this man and his beautiful, wonderful, so caring and even funny songs! He was such a strong advocate for keeping our world as safe, clean and beautiful as possible. We lost so much when he died. God Bless, John!
I was a fan of JD, but had never heard this song. Talk about insight into the world’s future conditions!! I cried, had to watch & listen 3X. He was a gift to the world - and sometimes, the good....they die young. Thank you fir this post. 💕💕

Thank you for reposting...especially on this date...January 4, 1977 was the date my life changed forever and I lost my Mom. Fortunately for us, we got to see several of Johns live performances together...was an amazing poet, performer, writer, musician and friend.
I met John Denver just briefly while he was on a fishing trip to Tasmania. I lived in the highlands at the time He did a concert there in Launceston at the velodrome. I was around 18 I grabbed 2 tickets my girlfriend couldn’t go so I dragged a maté alone he was an AC/DC freak rock roll nut. We both left the concert in disbelief really. It was absolutely the most uplifting and spiritual thing my mate and I had ever experienced. We both were hooked. I have never seen a person with a guitar and microphone entertain an audience like it. I’ve never forgotten it. I was shocked years later when I heard of the accident. It brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you for putting this back up - I really missed it! John's music was with me from when I was born - and it's still (and always will be) the "soundtrack of my heart". Of all the other amazing artists that have passed on during my lifetime thus far, it's John that I miss most deeply and has left a hole in my heart.
+maranathagape --- Indeed -- he was an exceptional artist, an incredible talent, a wonderful but somewhat unappreciated guitarist, and a very kind and humble man. He was under-rated by many, and I think too unappreciated in his last few years before hs tragic and untimely accident. He is always missed.
Grew up listening to John Denver. I wish I could have seen him in concert. My whole family was devastated when we watched the news the morning he died. Thank you for sharing this.
I miss this man and his ability to sing words that count. My life would have been much less without his inspiring music. Annie's Song - he turned such simple lines into a beautiful master piece. Hey John I'm 64 bad health can't wait to hear you again. Great post God Bless you for it.
Mike, thank you for reposting this. The ad companies do not have a benefit or a reason, for their purpose....we do. We love this man and all he did to help us in so many ways. Very enjoyable to be around also. Thank you and the best to all who choose to listen.
I spent a couple of weeks in.the Summer of 1977 with my friend Jenny and her family, she was a John Denver fan and having heard her playing an album of his so was I.
I got to see JD twice in Pittsburgh. People who've never seen him live may not know...this cat had a voice that from 30 feet away (fourth row, floor seats) could rattle the fabric of your shirt. I'm talking tenor power!! Incredible performances, and I miss him to this day. The world truly needs more concerned artists like this, rather than the Hollywood morons who think their unsolicited opinions on everything from politics to morals is so important. Truly, The world is a lesser place with the likes of John Denver. RIP John.
Sadly, Hollywood kicked God out long ago. From what I've heard, John loved our Father and our Savior. All who trust in Christ will enjoy this wonderful man's music again.💖
He ceretainly had a powerful diaphragm and the lung capacity to go with it. I gave up cigarettes six years ago after smoking for 30 years, and singing John's songs has helped heal my lungs.
My recently departed mother, who passed away peacefully after 88 years Thursday evening just gone was big fan of the late, great, John Denver and had the opportunity to see him perform live in the UK in the mid seventies. I have always loved the music of John Denver since way back when I heard his song, Leaving On A Jet Plane which was then reinforced further when I heard Take Me Home Country Roads, which was amongst the first songs I ever busked way back many moons ago. I also covered Matthew and Follow Me but had sang a beautiful rendition of Denver's Sweet Surrender with my older brother many years ago for our Mother in one of our family in house concerts. I plan to sing Sweet Surrender at my Mother's funeral too as a duet with my older brother because it was her favourite John Denver song. He was such and incredible talent gone far too soon and I still love his music and always will. Thanks so much for this rare opportunity to see him perform for the last time ever.
I took guitar lessons in 1973 and had to play sunshine on my shoulders and country roads, been a fan ever since, on 9/11 I got stuck in New York, when I could finally leave I bought his greatest hits CD at a truck stop and wound up listening to it for 19 hours straight on my drive back to Minnesota. Kept me going!
I am 70 years old in 2024. I remember the first time I heard John Denver. I was at my friend’s home. She played the double live album. In must have been in 71 or 72. to this day I still LOVE listening to his music. I can’t really pinpoint only one favorite song. I think one of my favorite songs is Poems Prayers and Promises.
I attended this concert in Corpus Christi and met John that night. What an incredible evening of beautiful music from a beautiful soul. You are deeply missed and your music lives in our souls forever!
I finally got to see John Denver at this concert. I grew up in Corpus Christi, my cousin got me hooked on his music when I was a kid. It was such a great night and then such a heartbreak to lose him a week later. His beautiful music will endure Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for putting it back up. It needs to be seen with no ads to demean his legacy. I miss him a lot. I can hardly imagine the songs still inside him yet to be put to paper.
Thank you for keeping this open x John inspired me when I was 12 ! I'm now 58 !😍 iv been singing and playing guitar ever since ... his music his soul is still with me ... saw him many times here in England .. I always put a rose next to his mike stand ... 💐he is still a part of my soul .
I lived in Colorado for 15 years. I fell in love with it . It truly was a Rocky Mountain High . Thank you John for making it Epic. Miss you, your gift, and you live on in our hearts. Peace.✌❤
We were moving to West Virginia to finish my college after my time in the Air Force when one of his first hits was Country Roads. That time on I became a fan of his music and learned to play on my guitar many of his songs. I still to this love to listen to him singing. Thank you John Denver for all your music, RIP John. John had a beautiful voice and a voice of reason and sanity when it came to preserving nature. The only people that listened to him was the people that cared, but not the greedy who will kill nature as we know it unless they are stopped.
very well put and you are right, the greedy will stop at nothing to get what they want at any cost, there idea with the land is that it is nothing unless you BUILD something on it.But the thing is once it gone it is gone forever everyone must do there part to help save the land I for one do Volunteer in parks that,s a start and i have fun doing it.Peace to you

Thank you my man for rolling the camera we got one full song and hopefully this entire show was recorded and someday will be released. When I hear his voice its like when I was 5 years old listening to the music, what an awesome voice.

Thank you for reposting. I never got to see him live, so this type of video is a gold to me. As for sleeping with his guitar, I think it was because he often dreamt songs in his sleep and often awoke in the night to play his dream melodies.....its a musician thing. ;-)xx
the first live concert I ever went to was john denver, lang park, Brisbane,Australia, late 70's(78/79? can't quite remember), and the happy memories are with me stlill. The voice, the music, the message, with me even now.A rainy day turned bright and clear one hour before the show-almost too much too be true, but there it was,so thanks to the "poster"for this-"I sing to your spirit".....

Rest in Peace

We did not lose John Denver, he will always be with us with his unending stories of life, love, nature, wildlife, human being through his music.
Yes so true... and he told us so in his song "Autograph"'.
Here I am closing my eyes again
Trying so hard not to see
All the things that I see
Almost willing to lie again
I swear that it just isn't so
It just isn't me
We are never alone
Even though we'd like to be...
Then I go and open my eyes again
Love in your eyes is the thing
That I'd most like to see
I'd be willing to die again
To know of a place and a time
That it always would be
To be always with you
And you always with me
This is my autograph
Here in the songs I sing
Here in my cry, in my laugh
Here in the love that I bring
To be always with you
And you always with me
Say a prayer and
Open your heart again
You are the love and the life
That we all need to see
Always willing to shine and then
Peace on this earth is the way
That it always can be...
To be always with you
And you always with me
This is my autograph
Here in the songs that I sing
Here in my cry, in my laugh
Here in the love that I bring
To be always with you
And you always with me

WhiteElfStar really love your comments
He was so a special man. He was a poet. He was often misunderstood. I think he was a bit sad.
So beautifully said. Thank you! I feel the same
Beautifully said. Thank You. 💟
WhiteElfStar Beautifully stated.
This is beautiful. There will never be anyone who can touch his talent.
Oh my, there is but one other. But they’re two of a billion! The other is still alive.
@John Woods Can you make a comment without being nasty? I have my opinion, you have your opinion. If being an asshole to some random stranger on a YEAR old comment makes you feel good, seek help. Immediately.
Went to his first concert in Sydney Australia brilliant.
I’m 82 and love this man and his music.. loved him for nearly 50 years.
maybe Jimmy Buffett
John did, does, and
will always get me through the bad days. He was a joy!
I saw him at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh February 14th, 1997 before his tragic accident. Saw him a few times in concert. Was the Best!
@@billpuhljr1073 Good memories I am sure.
But it probably blew your mind when you heard of his crash.
Amen
He was so pure in his music. He inspired me to learn to play the guitar.
What a Gift he gave to all of us. His voice moves our spirits to soar. Nobody will ever top him.
I was there also.
Thanks for sharing you personal story.
That's so cool.
Not many could sing like John..And play instruments..What a true gem..Sadly missed..
I miss your music, John. You and your songs will live on in our hearts. May they never be forgotten.
Soundtrack of my teenage years
Wow. Just 'found' this. He left us much too soon. Gone, but NEVER forgotten! And his music will live on....
Hello 👋 Charlotte. How are you doing ? Hope are you fine. Im Scott Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from . You seem like a real country girl
Thank you for posting this piece of history. He has gone far too early.John I pray you have found the peace you did not always find on this earth.
I am 67 and still listen to his music all day when I am working. It is relaxful, meaningful and makes my heart sing.
I'm 68 & feel the same......😊
John's voice was like no other. USA🥰
Finding this post was such a gift … timing is incredible. My ex husband has passed away after John passed. John was highly loved and highly missed.
God bless you for this - 54 yr old English dude still has tears in his eyes at John's voice
me too
Jeff Ebdy me too....
Jeff Ebdy I hope you still are in 2020. I love his songs since I was a teenager. Let's carry on listening to his songs 🎹🎸
Me tooo tears for John Denver❤💖💘❤💘💘💘
❤️
My favorite all-time performer with a personality that cared. God bless John his family and his fans
Miss you John...one in a billion !!!!!! Never will be another as awesome as you !
One in a billion means there's seven others like him. One's Rick Astley the meme legend, then...?
Take Me Home, Country Roads / My FAVORITE song by John Denver.
My Sweet Lady & Like A Sad Song / 2 songs that are too hard and too sad to listen to. Such a loss. There will never be another singer like Mr. Denver. 😔
I started high school that very yr only to stumble on his music now in 2019 @ 35yo. John is the real deal, a legend forever.
I cried a lot that year.
I lost my father 1997 also.....it was a year for great loss.....😔
Still grieving the loss of this great writer, musician and singer. Condolences to his family.
If you relax and FEEL into his energy you will know he is participating with all of us here.
sotvomike - from the depths of my heart, I thank you for sharing this, his last performance. :(
John had a way of reaching into your body and speaking directly to your soul. Words cannot express his talent.
Beautifully said. Thank you.
What a freaking magnificent voice!!!
His performing was incredible. Effortless and pure. He's a top 10 performer in my book.
The man was true artist. Highest level of respect from me.
Adam Youdell
Absolutely! Was the best.
Sara Goddard
Beautiful and inspirational words and music.
A beautiful spirit that touched my heart as a child with the true essence of love in his music. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I'm 64 years old and became a fan when I got his greatest hits album for Christmas when I was a youngster. His music had a profound effect on me and struck my soul like a lightening bolt. I was forever changed. No artist has ever spoken to my heart like John Denver did. ❤
As a #PrivatePilot I am still reeling from how he left us. I will love him forever. #JohnDenver
I am 72 years and i started loving his music since my early twenties. just can't get enough. Some days are diamonds is the song that got me hooked when i was a young man. It is so real about life. One day you are up there the next day you are down.
R.I.P John Denver ! You´ll never be forgotten as person and musician !
I am 81 and it feels old when I realize how young John was when he died. We are blessed to the many recordings of his voice and music.
I was a fan of JD, but had never heard this song. Talk about insight into the world’s future conditions!! I cried, had to watch & listen 3X. He was a gift to the world - and sometimes, the good....they die young. Thank you fir this post. 💕💕
Hello 👋 Anne. How are you doing ? Hope are you fine. Im Scott Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from . You seem like a real country girl
I thank you also, for putting this back up. I always loved John's heartfelt music and his beautiful singing voice!
I lived in the highlands at the time
He did a concert there in Launceston at the velodrome.
I was around 18 I grabbed 2 tickets my girlfriend couldn’t go so I dragged a maté alone he was
an AC/DC freak rock roll nut.
It's for people like you that I put it back up. Sucks that greedy companies try to claim work that isn't theirs and ruin it for everyone.
+maranathagape My thoughts exactly--t/y for expressing it so well.
Just like Johnny Cash and Little Jimmy Dickens were with me.
+sotvomike
That' s the Spirit!
Great post God Bless you for it.
i can't help but cry every time i hear him sing. he had a bell tone to his voice. what a loss. i miss him.
How sad that I was too young and living too far away to have the chance to see his live performance before he was gone..
May his soul rest in peace.
David Schmidt Amen, brother.
Saw him live in London UK October 1982...right up front lol.. amazing performer.
Thanks so much for posting this. It means a lot to be able to watch John's last performance.
amen.....12/15/19
😢❤️
I took guitar lessons in 1973 and had to play sunshine on my shoulders and country roads, been a fan ever since, on 9/11 I got stuck in New York, when I could finally leave I bought his greatest hits CD at a truck stop and wound up listening to it for 19 hours straight on my drive back to Minnesota. Kept me going!
It's amazing what that man could do with just a guitar and his voice. One of my favorite musical performers.
I never got to see him in person & really regret that. Thanks for this, it touches my heart. He was the best.
Jo. Unrau I wish you had gotten to see him in person. You wouldn’t have been disappointed.
A number of his songs touched and moved people to tears, I am no exception, three come to mind 'I want to live' Let us Begin' & Rhyme or Reason
Love this. Thank you for posting again!
I attended this concert in Corpus Christi and met John that night. What an incredible evening of beautiful music from a beautiful soul. You are deeply missed and your music lives in our souls forever!
I sure understand his heart... especially through this song. I miss you, John. love.
I finally got to see John Denver at this concert. I grew up in Corpus Christi, my cousin got me hooked on his music when I was a kid. It was such a great night and then such a heartbreak to lose him a week later. His beautiful music will endure
Thanks for sharing!
The Boy From the Country sounds like his autobiography. ❤️😓 What an incredible voice and spirit.
I saw him live in concert five times, sadly he never sang this song which is one of my all time favourites of his.
Boy From the Country was written by Michael Martin Murphey
Thanks for putting it back up. It needs to be seen with no ads to demean his legacy. I miss him a lot. I can hardly imagine the songs still inside him yet to be put to paper.
2020, John and Sara are still here listening in the United Kingdom to Mr John Denver. Just the very very best. RIP xxxx
Greg Winner
what a voice and it is missed very very much rest in PEACE John Denver
John had a beautiful voice and a voice of reason and sanity when it came to preserving nature. The only people that listened to him was the people that cared, but not the greedy who will kill nature as we know it unless they are stopped.
very well put and you are right, the greedy will stop at nothing to get what they want at any cost, there idea with the land is that it is nothing unless you BUILD something on it.But the thing is once it gone it is gone forever everyone must do there part to help save the land I for one do Volunteer in parks that,s a start and i have fun doing it.Peace to you
Great are you god
nothing tops looking for space. sooooo love his voice.
thanks for putting it up again !!!!! I saw John Denver in a wonderful Concert in Munich (Germany) 1972 I will never forget this Evening in my life. He was such a talent ,it is so sad, that he had to go so early. R.I.P John , you will be never forgotten!,,
What a beautiful song! It dawned on me today is Oct 12 2015-18 years. I can't believe how long he has been gone...RIP always and God Bless you John Denver
+Stephanie Schnider I completely agree with you. I didn't really think just how much time has passed, until I had read your post, since John Denver's death.
I have watched this over and over, I was on the second row of his concert October 1st in Ft Worth, Tx and this is so great to see, long story for me but I am a huge John Denver fan! Thanks for posting, I wish there was more!
This is such a gem to treasure forever. Thank you so much for sharing it.
Got his records still ,can't play them now, but always be with me. Such a beautiful voice and lovely man. Saw him in Adelaide SA a few times. What a privilege. His music lives on forever. Thanks John, I'm 82 now, love you forever
thanks for putting it up. I had the best evening of my life in Germany at a John Denver Concert in Munich ...I will never forget him and his music.!Still play his LP 's and think about him a lot. So sad that he had to go so early. R.I.P. John
My first concert ever was John Denver "In the Round" in 1976 at the Capital Centre in MD, where he stood on an elevated stage and it slowly revolved. I still listen to his music every day.
Thank you for posting this, what an incredible gift John Denver had.
Thank you my man for rolling the camera we got one full song and hopefully this entire show was recorded and someday will be released. When I hear his voice its like when I was 5 years old listening to the music, what an awesome voice.
Thank you for the post. I am sure that John would have been "annoyed" about the pettiness in people with their selfishness. He is soooo missed.
Happy Birthday, our dearest John. You were like the closest friend anyone could ever have on this earth.
Thanks again, for all the music, love, soul, spirit & caring, laughter, & joy you gave to us so freely. We love you still, & will always miss you being here with us. 💖🎶🎸🎹💖👏🌠🐦🐟🦅🎻🌍💖
Thank you for reposting. I never got to see him live, so this type of video is a gold to me. As for sleeping with his guitar, I think it was because he often dreamt songs in his sleep and often awoke in the night to play his dream melodies.....its a musician thing. ;-)xx
the first live concert I ever went to was john denver, lang park, Brisbane,Australia, late 70's(78/79? can't quite remember),
and the happy memories are with me stlill. The voice, the music, the message, with me even now.A rainy day turned bright and clear one hour before the show-almost too much too be true, but there it was,so thanks to the "poster"for this-"I sing to your spirit".....
God bless John and thank you Mike for posting this video again. I'll remember it even if you have to remove it again. :)
I miss him so much. He helped to make by childhood and teenage years so much better. He inspired me to play guitar, sing and learn to write. He filled me with hope, inspiration, tolerance and patience. John helped me to find myself by selflessly sharing himself and his music. Thank you John . I love you still.
