- Following a limited shock drop on the Nike SNKRS app earlier this month, the worldwide release for the "UNC Toe" Air Jordan 1 is set for this Saturday, July 22nd! Featuring a mix of white, black and university blue coloured leather, these adopt the same colour blocking style as the "Bred Toe" colourway. Love the review, Sean! Again, you never fail to disappoint! I really do agree with your thoughts at the end of the video. On top of Jordan 1 fatigue this past year, the fact that they went with another university blue is a little underwhelming. That being said, I can’t deny that if this colorway had came out just 2 to 3 years ago, They would be selling off the charts. Shattered backboard colorblocking is my favorite color blocking so I still had to cop this one. And as someone who missed out on the obsidians, these are my consolation obsidians 😅. This is a colorway that I think will still age pretty well. But can’t deny I’m not as hyped for these, as I might have been several years ago due to all the factors, I stated.

You forgot to say that the insole and midsole of the Jordan 1 feel like you are "walking outside, barefoot on the sidewalk after one of the worst days of your life." Love your reviews. Especially the New Balance ones. I'm a recent convert.

Personally I’m passing on these, not really a blue shoe guy myself. I do have the low mystic navy’s for work and love them.

I prefer the Taxi 1 over this. Even though blue is my favorite color. I just think this one is good, but it doesn't pop.

I do feel the same about these. I do own the 2019 Obsidian Jordan1 so im a bit torn if I should pick up a pair or not. Especially with the retail of a 190€ (quick is more than ridiculous for a GR 1 ). But my obsidians a pretty beat so maybe … great video Sean
Jordan Brand are some greedy a-holes for increasing the price again. I bet they will go up to 200€ till the end of this year... they don't need to wonder why all their releases brick out
I would rather take used Obsidians over these. The shape looks more boxy on the UNC toes

First Jordans I purchased in about 15 years. Hit on the shock drop. It is a great shoe but I got to say the bred 1s I purchased at Nike town many years ago had much better quality
I have the Obsidian 1's, University Blue 1's(the suede/nubuck ones) and the Royal toes, so I'm really unsure if I NEED this pair or not. The quality looks super nice though!

If by any chance you don't own a pair of UNC themed Jordan 1s then this is probably a good pick for you. Hopefully easy to cop on release day and almost no resell. Will definitely try to cop these when they drop!

Sean you're not wrong about that blue...I grew up in NC and I'm a HUGE UNC fan...."Carolina" blue is more of a baby blue or lighter blue than what's on the shoe..Still a DOPE 1 but the color is off....

So I have the off white unc 1, which are my go-to unc color shoe. Every time I wanted to buy these, I looked at my off whites and said it wasn’t worth it. BUT, I’m on vacation, I miss my shoes and I only brought my lost and founds. So I just copped these 😅
i love the color blocking on the bred toes and i am a sucker for baby blue so it’s a necessary cop for me : )
Swoosh shape is off, and the blue shouldn’t be darker, really. I hope you didn’t end up scammed or anything. It is a really nice release, I’ll probably pick it up later this year assuming the resale is consistent and doesn’t go crazy.

These are a beautiful shoe indeed, like every other 1 in this colour blocking, but Idk if I can justify purchasing it when I already have another Jordan 1 with this same colour blocking.

These color such as light blues are used often for infant shoes

"So I sound like a broken record" LOL. My first Sean Go video and I felt like I annoyed the heck out of him for asking how's the comfort of an AJ1. Never owned a pair and I'm hoping to cop my fist one. Perhaps deliver the review with a positive tone no matter how repetitive the script is. I know jordan/Nike has a bad rep in terms of QC, but I haven’t had too many issues esp since late last year. Most of my pairs have been mostly flawless w just minor glue stains around the mid sole and some loose stitching at most. Not different from my NBs. Surprisingly my worst QC pair in recent memory has been a MiUSA 990v3, which had crooked back panels.

I am UK 11 in Air Max 90 & Panda Highs but I had bought a AM97 in UK 12 which fits me perfectly. So now I am confused what size I should get for the AJ1 High UNC toe as these will be my first pair of AJ1 pls guide me shall I go for tts UK -11 or 11.5 or 12 UK as I have a wide feet & prefer roomy fit.

All recent AJ1 post-Lost&Found do I believe
they ruined the AJ1 OG retro high silhouette after the Lost & Founds. Shape looks weird, the are shorter, bigger boxy toe box and larger swoosh. Don't like them at all. "Old" pairs looked better on feet IMO.. and of course the quality was also better
