Can an IR sensor be used to trigger the lights to cycle "x" amount of times, then stop until the next time it senses movement? I am new to this and ordered a few board to experiment with for some ideas I have. Great video!

Yes, it is possible. The only thing we have to do is add ir sensor in code and after that we have to use some logic to trigger our LEDs as you want.

One lamp or the lamps equal to number of LEDs in video?
