It seems it's getting more popular for people go to a DH. I just got my first check and treatment. It feels so much better, now i am gonna go to the DH every year for sure. Maybe even twice.

I love how your office is so ergo friendly, did you buy that saddle chair or did the office provide it? Do you put the patients head parallel to the floor for when working on the Maxillary and then move them up for chin down on mandible?

I live in arkansas but there is only two DH schools in my state. I really want to work in Arkansas after graduated.
How many dental hygiene schools can i apply? Is there any limit?
If i attend a school in texas, i only can take a Texas board exam?? Or i am allowed to take Arkansas board exam even though i go to school in texas???

Do I need a college degree or do I go to a trade/technical school? I’m not too well versed with higher education and I can’t seem to find a straight forward answer online 😅 (we all start somewhere!)
I believe you need an associates from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program - definitely check out your community college !! You can get a bachelors in Dental Hygiene if you want but that’s not needed for this career nor will it really boost your pay any since your still taking the same board exam at the end

Hi, why do you wear your uniform all the time? You are playing with your dog and eating in your uniform and going back and treating patients. Have you heard of airborne bacteria and viruses?
Do you know how many people wear their scrub uniforms to work, at home, to eat, to go to the store, have dogs, etc. ? You have no idea lol
@@Ms.janell So disgusting. In the UK you have to change before you eat your lunch and you can't wear it just at your workplace. Doesn't matter if you believe in cross-infection or not. It gonna affect you.
Have you heard of airborne, contact, and droplet precautions? No disrespect, just asking because these precautions provide a level of protection for both healthcare team and patients in the event either one comes into a hospital or an outpatient clinic infected by an airborne bacteria/virus.
