Thanks for your video. I changed my filters today after watching your video which was a great help. It was the first time they were changed since purchased new and had 7000 miles on it. They were filthy.

Good know how video Matt. Not sure about grease? Just purchased this bike (my first BMW) I love it but never have preformed any general maintenance or service on this particular motorcycle. Previous owner had lots of cash so he had it serviced at the local BMW service center here in Denver.
Don't put junk K&N filters on a quality bike or any bike, guaranteed if you dyno that bike you will loose 2 to 4 bhp with K&N.Original quality filters will seal perfectly as well. Otherwise great video.
@@alanknowles1154 Go on then, I dare you to dyno the bike and prove me right. You won't because its a well known fact that if you replace K&N or similar in place of factory no gain only power loss.

The K1200S BMW filters are flat
