- What's up guys and gals this is ya boy, Today I go over everything done to the Forte GT, Intake, Exhaust, Suspension, Wheels and Tires, Transmission, Engine and more!

For those saying worried that shops deny warranties. They can’t deny a warranty unless they can prove it was the aftermarket modification that caused the car to break. Some dealerships overlook the modifications. That’s why it’s important to have a good relationship with the service manager.
At the Kia dealer I work at, you can do all those mods, installed through them, everything is still covered under warranty. Won’t effect it at all

@@petermoon9473 bro the thing in Miami everybody is moving here and there ain't much inventory cuz people from NY or Cali or even foreigners are willing to pay the over priced market. But with some tough negotiating last minute I manage to get OTD at $30k

I am trying to decide where to start with mine. I am thinking about either the short shifter or an intake as the first mod.
I did the intake first and to me it was probally the best mod personally. The turbo sounds and intake noise you can always enjoy where once you get use to the short shifter you'll never notice it again. Just my 2 cents
I just bought a 2022 GT Manual .. My question is .. Will a HKS Blow off valve , Air intake void my 10 year powertrain warranty ?
In the fine line the dealership has to prove that the mods caused the issue to be requested by warranty. But some dealerships just see the intake and be like "OOP NOPE CANT DO THAT." Check your local KDM community usually they'll talk about good dealership to bring your car to in your area.

How did the stock clutch hold up thinking of getting a Forte GT soon hoping a test will steer me right
Clutch was okay you don’t need much with just full bolt ons if you upgrade a turbo though personally I’d upgrade to a stage 2 street clutch. I think the trans or engine would go first before the clutch
Glad to see your video. I have a 15' koup and im figuring out what to do with it as well as some good brands to go with when modifying!
Nice! The koups are cool I just wish they were turboed, but I’ve heard with and intake, header and exhaust you can make ok power for a fun daily, that would be my personal recommendation. If you want to go fast, k swap it or buy something else. Just all depends what you want to do! But brand wise I will always stick to Boomba and SXTH, then I’d they don’t have what I’m looking for KDM tuners
@@HonestlyBad Mine is turbocharged! I have the 1.6 Turbo in it and it's absolutely amazing. Ive done a few engine mods and i make a decent amount of power, just trying to expand and make it even better!
So how much power in total is the forte gt package capable up with the correct mods? (Just got the 22 version and curious to do more to it if worth it)
Really don’t see them more than 250 with stock turbo. Even after market turbo maybe 280-300 but I wouldn’t run it on the stock block. 1.6 from Hyundai isn’t the best in my opinion.
All depends on how deep your wallet is.
Nice , so far only have the takeda cold air intake , struggling to fit the mishimoto oil catch can , and going to install the air ram intake snorkel from velossa + luxe vinyl taillight tints
The intake was one of the best mods I've done, hope you're enjoying everything so far!

Intake 100%. Easier to install, and you'll get the most fun out of it right out the box.

Anyone here change coolant of it. how to drain all coolant on reservoir. i cant find out. i put pipe inside reservoir so i can suck it out.but it cant go to bottom structure of it so complicated. guys help me.
Easiest way is to remove it
YT won''t let me post the link but look at the page for tork motorsports fuel line - "We have seen many issues with the factory fuel systems lines kinking and causing issues with fuel supply in the upper RPM band, and we can contribute possible engine failure from some cars due to this issue. Our solution, build a better line." I wonder if this would have solved your problem.

Yes they are 1.6 Turbos in the GT
How come there was no clips of the car?
When you say upgrading fuel, do you just mean using a higher grade? Because I have used 93 in my ‘22 since I’ve got it
No, talking about a bigger fuel pump to help supply more fuel if need be but also realized I still could have been capped by the high pressure fuel pump so :/ we will never know what truly was the knife in the coffin but I still think this could have helped.

What was the main reason why the dealer denied your warranty claim?
I still had the catless downpipe on the car, the way the shop welded it on there was no way just taking that out again sadly. So because of mods.

Just a better fuel pump nothing crazy, should help a ton. But only do that if you plan on going more power with a proper tune

@@kiagottigang1512 Technically no, but to gain anything performance yes, but to save money, I wouldn't do a tune until you had much more done to the car besides just an intake.
