Sultai food!? This deck just gave flashbacks to the Sultai midrange of 2017/2018 when the Golgari Explore deck splashed blue for Hydriod Krasis! Mother Goose is absolutely giving me Krasis vibes haha. Good times man, and many more to come with this set!
58:20 Wonderfully executed trap there. I love it when you see the opponent lingering over the cards after the fact; you can almost hear the chorus of "WTFs" going through their heads.
8:39 Arena keeps foods (or any artifact) that entered the battlefield this turn in a separate pile... basically just in case they get turned into creatures 😂
i'm really loving the food synergies from WOE. Simic Food is super fun to draft, and that interaction at 58:29 where you got to trigger both parts of Elvish Archivist AND play another spell off Night of the Sweets' Revenge was impressive.
So wild to see you in the gold rank LVD. Goes to show just how stale standards gotten recently, nothing against you, but without the rotation all the best decks from the past year are still stinking up the queues, hopefully this new set will bring some flavor to standard!
Hey legend! I was wondering, do you have a preferred deck that you like to play outside of these community voted submissions? I'd love to see you just playing in some events for any format playing your deck of choice, instead of always having to play a brew. Either way, always love the content!

7:16 Any reason why you'd risk getting the food adventure countered on your turn? 14:44 You could've attacked with your 3/3 so they can "ambush" to trade after buffing their 2/2 to a 3/3, then make a food token as a combat trick. Really sweet deck btw! Keep up the good work!
I feel Nights of Sweets Revenge is easily historic competitive. The potential there is nearly infinite, especially considering in that format there are a lot of cards that sac food for free, so you can both sac and tap for mana the same token. An example of broken interaction: with Paradox Engine And Peregrin Took, geese can make food for free by tapping the food they just made! Also, the Oven is a ramp card, enough said lol
@@kamikazebanzai1005 LOL I know what you mean, and honestly I'm not a fan of that card (too powerful imo), but all paradox decks I've seen so far do nothing except playing solitaire until they combo off. This version would still allow for a control or midrange shell, since food is versatile enough as an archetype, and that's a huuuge difference. Anyway, paradox or not, it's just a matter of time before someone finds the right shell, that's for sure!

Candy trail and Greta seem like the weakest cards in the deck, but neither is a 2 drop, and I'm not sure how the early game would feel without candy trail filling the gaps on turns 1-3. Greta's effects are pretty weak, but I guess she helps to recover after board wipe in late game. Go for the throat is the card I would replace in BO3, but in BO1 it's nice to have a clean answer to Sheoldred.
I'm newer to arena and Ive been watching a few videos of different creators and I've learned you're gonna need a absolute fuck ton of wildcards to make a deck that has a chance of competing with some of the broken shit in standard
Honestly that and the recent changes in standard (now there can be 3 years worth of sets active at the same time instead of 2 which only breaks things even more) made quit the game; I still watch some videos it's not worth playing anymore

I think it has always worked this way with every permanent. Most notably if you play a land that you've already got a pile of.

Hell yeah!!! I literally just made this deck yesterday, super fan. Your version with Blue and the Goose Mother really adds that extra oomph.
Been working on a mono green beepboop deck for months, thus set makes it so much better

Is Witch's Vanity not good enough? It seems like there are a lot of 2 drops in Standard, and it does a lot of things for 2 mana.
It's certainly an option, but no clear card that I would want to take out for it.
