I used to watch Top Chef and I imagined the same thing when those shows’ contestants showed up in a grocery store.
Yeah, I think that's out of order. If I knew they wanted 1 or 2, I'd probably give them the coupons and the items.

This show ran from 2011-2012 depicting a lot of supposed great savings,but what people don't realize is that some of the coupons used on this show by some of the contestants was fraudulent. It is because of this show why a few years later that retailers have stopped doubling coupons and put limits on them. Just thought that people should know the truth!
You can tell, from all the " can I get a what-what!?" and "Holla's" they are doing lol

LOVE that they donate the food. Wish there were healthier choices, too.
The problem is that most healthier choices are fresh so they’ll expire quickly. Most homeless people don’t have a fridge, a freezer, or an oven. So your best bet is to donate anything canned and preserved.
I hope you know the couponers used fake coupons!!! It’s ridiculous because they have seriously ruined couponing for everyone and now things are strict.

It all goes to charity food banks, they don't keep it. I'd love to be able to do this, but in the UK we aren't allowed to coupon like this unfortunately.

This coupon system should only go to charitable organizations or foundations, and not to hoarders.
It does, all they buy on the show goes to food banks. There is a limit on how many coupons you can use now, so people can't coupon like this any longer.

We don't have such a coupon system in the UK, it would make things a lot easier for lower-income families if we did! Imagine getting all that food and just paying VAT/taxes. That's crazy.

I'd love it here, but because everything has tax included in the price, we sadly don't get it here and it sucks!

@David Afanasiev I'm not sure what you do not understand basically I'm trying to say are they still couponing with this pandemic with all the shortages of supplies and the couponers that had massive supplies of toilet paper paper towels anything that was needed during the pandemic if they had came out and shared their stockpile if that's too hard for you to understand I'll try to explain it more in detail 🤷

Anotherwords, r these people getting all of these groceries for free? And they have storage units full...... are they sharing since the pandemic hit and stores WERE OUT OF EVERYTHING! EVERYWHERE! when it froze over here for..... my husband was out of work for a whole week! We live in TN.
So, are they helping those in need? Or are they just keeping abs hoarding it for themselves? Or re-selling them, just a bit Cheaper than the store does lmao! Or is keeping it all for themselves LMAOOO!
You just have to look at their wardrobe, hair and makeup styles to know this was like 10+ years ago.
