Rose didn't pass the vibe check. Kate welcomed them into her home, and offered them what she had. Whether or not it's what you're accustomed to you show some respect and gratitude when being welcomed into someone's home.
The only reasonable excuse for that behavior is the fact that "Rose" isn't her friend, is an actress so she was just following the producers directions.

Apparently the dumpster food for her guests wasn't her idea and she seems like such a nice, sweet person and I hate how they're treating her and the lack of decency and respect when she's not even that bad. She was welcoming and I'm just sad watching this interaction.

Tho rmbr this is reality tV so it’s either edited or partially scripted. If she told them ahead of time, we might not have the episode or the episode would be boring lol you can also view “unbeautiful” where she was interviewed and explained how some scenes were scripted or the producers told her to exaggerate some of her lifestyle for ratings.

Every time they said the place was so small I was like you’ve obviously never been to a country that has ever smaller spaces - I lived in Japan for a while, and you can live comfortably without massive amounts of space and tons of furniture
Her friends are actually really rude...shes super sweet and nice not hurting anyone or her kids or husband, she works went to school, has her own place, she's just very cheap but thats her choice if she wants to do that and live that way. So doesn't bother me. Her friend sorta made me feel like he came over to make fun of her and judge her. Same with the girlfriend.

You would be surprised to realize your body can easily adapt to sleeping anywhere as long as you work stay busy throughout your day. I find it super easy to sleep when I am backpacking.
Once ate dinner with my mother at the house of a new friend. Discovered afterwards it was dumpster dived food. I was astonished at how great the meal was! It's not my thing but it's amazing what gets thrown out to waste in this country.

Dumpsters have roaches, flies, maggots, rats and mice in them. Not to mention the bathroom trash from stores which can have used pads and used baby diapers all in the dumpster. Dumpster dived food is crawling with bacteria. Yuck!
