This is a seriously edited and comped performance track. He used to have a PC going with the recording software up, but has since transitioned into not showing it because it was clear that he edits these things together.
I have zero issue with edits or playing to prerecorded stuff when appropriate (this genre being perfect for such things). I do have a problem with people claiming to be able to do something they can't. He can obviously play these parts, but maybe it is not as cleanly as what we're hearing, otherwise, he'd do real-time play-throughs and not play to a pre-recorded and heavily edited track.
