I have the Kizashi 2013 MY14 prestige Sport and it is the best car I have owned. I have only had to replace the primary battery in its 5th year. Love it!
I have a 2013 Kizashi and I don't have any of these problems the gas mileage is great and the CVT transmission is good too I think it's a great car for the money like driving a luxury car.
I live in North Dakota, we had a blizzard that basically put 50mph winds with a about a foot or so of snow, my car made it through 7 miles of the shitty snow drifts, before I hit some hard packed shit about a block from my house. The only reason I got stuck is because I was over heating my AWD coupler or some shit like that. It was great :D
Good review - I agree with pretty much everything you said, except I like the simplicity of the centre console. I find newer vehicles to be too busy or ugly, especially the current Fords. It's all personal preference though. The Kizashi's economy is rather disappointing, especially as the published figures are 9.3L/100km, or 25mpg (US).
Good review. I haven't driven one yet but I was curious how bad the CVT was. I thought that if the manual mode was really well done maybe it wouldn't be too bad, but it sounds like it still falls short. I wish they made the car with a MT + AWD. But as it stands it looks like I would have to favor the FWD GTS model with a MT.
I do not understand why, inspite of the Kizashi 'taked at the box office'-a sales bust in north america,Suzuki never tried selling it in Europe..it is the wright size and good looking and a chance for European Suzuki owners to 'grow' with the brand(SX4 was the biggest in the Suzuki 'menu' in Europe)
hey what kind of mpgs are you averaging? does it get better mpgs when you are on the 2wd option? how tall are you and will there be enough head room for someone who is six feet at the passengers seat?
Are you sure about the limited top speed? I own a 2011 Kizashi 6MT and I once had it at around 230kph on the Autobahn, but I had to brake because of traffic. I think the car would drive up to 240kph. But you have to use 5th gear, because the 6th gear is kind of overdrive.
The more reviews I see of this car, it feels like a real missed opportunity for Suzuki. Manual gearbox was not an option here in the UK, which is a strange choice, as typically over here we drive cars with manual gearboxes.

Thanks for the great, honest review. I heard today that Suzuki Auto division has filed for bankrupcy. Looking for a good deal.

Hello to India. I suppose you might be right, I'll stop making videos going forward. Appreciate it.

The CVT is not bad, it is sporty and switching gears is very quick.

Media mode switching by pressing the mode button on the steering wheel.
I have this car. the only negative is the cvt. but the handling is fantastic. even with the cvt you'll have fun but if you can find a mt go for the mt
also gas mileage could be better but I average 28 mpg and I drive pretty aggressive so it's not too shabby
I think could be amazing with a 6 speed automatic instead that cvt
I have manual 6 speed and it is a lot of car for less money. Runs even faster 0-60 then Accord 2.4 only the top speed stops at 215kmh

Having it in 2wd will get you better mpg than having it in awd by a little (2wd will avg around 29mpg). I am 6'4 and fit in the car quite comfortably.
Do you know if they made this car with a mt and awd?
No the manual was only available with front wheel drive
I'm getting 36 mpg at 70 mph!
'tanked....'
ROFL!
It's a turd! For the money of the full load you can get so much more!
Suzuki kizashi 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
