One heck of a good car. I'm 47, bought it New in 2012...not one thing went wrong and the look and handling is still unique. I'll keep it for another 5 years.
Opinion Matters I bought mine new 4 years ago. Its the best car i have owned. I normally trade my car every 5 years but this car I will keep for at least 10 years plus. I hand wash it every weekend. Runs perfect. 😁
Have had one for six years, bought it with18000 klm on the clock, now has 14500,2 sets of tires 2 set of brake pads do all services myself, absolutely no problems, ever electrical component still working, this is a solid reliable vehicle, how it didn't out sell other less quipped cars is a failure on Suzuki.
@@Justmejbird You missed out .I own a 2012, and it's been the absolute best car I've ever owned, and I've owned many. Zero problems and still drum tight, and looks new. Hopefully keeping it many more years.
The problem with the Kizashi is that Suzuki was confused whether to make this car go up against the Corolla or against the Camry. So it was kinda stuck in the middle. Corolla buyers were faced with the decision to either go with a fully loaded Corolla with a more frugal engine .. or a slightly bigger car with a much thirstier engine and less equipment. Camry buyers saw the Kizashi and thought, "What's that?" and then proceeded to buy the Camry. I used to like the Kizashi but in the end, if I were out for a sedan I'd have a hard time choosing the Kizashi. If Suzuki wants to compete against the Camry they need to be clear on what they're trying to do. Oh and scrap the Kizashi name. It just isn't very catchy and lends an all-too-Japanese vibe to the car. Not everyone can relate to Japanese culture, you know.
Certainly it does not suck. True, its not for everyone, but its got many things going for it. The AWD in all of its vehicles kicks ass. I owned a SX4 about two years ago and plan on buying my second soon. The Kizashi seems awesome. I'll be test driving one before the end of the year.
@@alonsofernandezperez8368 yep that was 90%,the reason. Other 10% is for almost no commercial activities and people just not knowing how good the car really is. Driving like a boss ;)
No, it failed because Suzuki couldn't get more engines developed for it with help from GM or VW. And they were already thinking hybrid, way before their prime time. Also their dealer network and name plate wasn't so hot back then.
I too have had my eyes on this car. Had a swift GT years ago and was great fun and reliable. But this car needs a turbo or a small V6 with around 150 hp. Then I will run to the dealer and buy it.
Its a good lookin car suzuki reliability but overpriced. There is nothing that makes you want to go and get one. Suzukis are good but not great. It is not a luxury brand. It needs to be a bargain for ppl to want to go get one. I saw a fully loaded one for $33k. Its not a lexus or bmw nicely said. Fully loaded at $20k would bring ppl to it.
Just because a car has AWD and ia similar in aize to a certain doesnt qualify them as comparible. Id compare it to the Subaru Legacy. Its a little smalelr but have sooooooo much in common. Japanese AWD Midsize Bland engine choices Niche car Niche customer Smaller brand Just saying
I don't think people who buy a Camry have no personality...they just want security in their investment: Camry hold their value well, and have excellent proven reliability and quality. Toyota has a huge and extensive dealership network here in America, which Suzuki don't (when was the last time you saw a Suzuki dealership?) So it can be argued that people who buy a Suzuki are dumb, mainly because of the unstable situation Suzuki is in right now in America.
tom11zz884 I have Suzuki Kizashi but I wnna Fix and every fuckn machanic says hey this car is not good and I ask why they r like they don’t make anymore
this is one of the cheapest performance(almost) car, everything of that price range cant come close to it, if you add options it will hurt, especial when you sell it.
Have owned one since 2012, currently at 300,000km and still running strong. No major repairs, besides regular maintenance!
Suzuki Would be proud!!! I miss Suzuki in USA!!! :(

Too bad Suzuki left the USA. This was seriously in the running for my next car.

it failed cuz Suzuki was asking too much for this car

look like swift dzire
Sorry I meant 250 hp
CVT is a hard pass
Who is Suzuki kidding? Nobody cross-shops this CVT box with an Audi A4, BMW328i or even an Acura TLS.
Ron lose the rug, it looks bad man....just being honest!
Beware they pulled out of the US market.
Korean car menufacture more than Good looking car concept better than Japanese car menufacturs...
How dare you put Audi and this car in the same sentence !?
you dont pay attention. . his saying what the kizashi is trying to compete with... its not a comparison.
Even so, he must put them in the same sentence
jamessi Ten of course they are cars after all.
no matter who u r...show respect for german engineering because they are the only one with reliable cars.
This car is way better and more reliable than most audi models .
