It is so enjoyable to see you guys in the period correct work clothes and stuff that you use is priceless and keeping me hooked to you and the Cold world channel!😊
Matt, Jim you're back! Great job with the model B engine. Sounds perfect. Thanks for making an appearance and for heavens sake, lighten up a bit. More jokes please. Until next time. Cheers from Wisconsin
Great old engin, good to see Strong's back with some content. Still see You Guy's on CWM but like this as well. Both Strong's & CWM have the great'est Car history on the tube.
57th Viewer, and 23rd-ish Like after only 4 Minutes ! We await your videos, as always. It was good to see you guys get another Ford started. The challenge will be getting it down the road...and back. No fair towing.
My brother still remembers a very cold winter day in 1958 when one of the school teachers was pulling another car to start it. My brother went out to try start my Model B Fordor, and it started right up. It was the only car I sold for what I paid for it a year previously. I brings back fond memories,
Nice to see you guys again, the garage looks great. The new rebuild sound awesome, should last for years properly cared for. Hope to see more videos from Strongs Garage in the future
Oh Yeah ! Good to have you gents back ! Shop looks great. One suggestion, you might want to hide an led strip light up behind the service station cabinet's roll down door. It's pretty dark above the workbench. Jim did a nice job on the B Model sounds strong. As it should coming from " Strong's Garage" 🤭👍 Cheers !
Good evening, such a nice video, the whole work has been precisely done and the proof is the perfect running engine. It sounds really good, thank you for sharing. Best wishes and greetings from Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil.
Guys, I know you like to go for originality, but the cord on that massive soldering iron really should be replaced before you have a "shocking" experience!😵💫 Love what you've done to this little engine.I love the simplicity of it. No solenoid, no cables running everywhere. Just mount the starter near the floorboards, run a rod from the switch up through the floor and you're good to go. Love the sound of these things as well. Good on you for using a Model A exhaust system for that authentic sound.
Dear Scott. 👍 Always nice to meet you here. Please pet/hug the black girl (Booboo- dog) for me. Thanks in advance. Best regards, luck and health in particular. To both of you of course.
I usually prefer short videos. But from Strong's Garage, I'm ready for an epic movie length- like Cleopatra or Dr. Zhivago or Gone with the Wind. Thanks for another great and very enjoyable show.
Great video Thanks for posting and all your good work..Wish I was a fly sitting on your shoulder so I could really get a close up on your work . Cheers
Here's a fun poem attributed to Hank Williams Sr. when he was 11 years old. Thought you guys would enjoy it. "I had an old goat that ate tin cans. When the baby goats came, they were Ford sedans"
Jim and Matt, I noticed the service cabinet right away......even before you pointed it out. I love the Art Deco lettering and the fact you saved it and are using it as it was intended to be used....Great look
Sadly, in modern times the Ford Joke Book comes off at the end of the assembly line. Such a beautiful well made car back in the day. Thank you both for sharing the wonderful memories of these beautiful old machines. Cheers from Connecticut!
I had the pleasure of working on a '31 and like the 31 Caddy V12 I undertook, I learned a heck of a lot about how cars were made in the early years, and boy were the electrics fun to wrap my head around! That poor old 4 banger though, it was a cosmetic restoration from maybe the late 60's or early 70's and I don't think the lower end had ever come apart. It was leaking badly from the rear of the pan, and upon removal i found pieces of steel which I figured out were the piston skirt inserts which had broken in a couple of the pistons. Customer was just selling the car and wanted to put as little in as possible, so the mess was cleaned up, then found the condenser was bad in the distributor, which I replaced. I got it running and squeezed inside to drive it around the block which was an adventure! The '36 Ford V8 pickup with cable brakes was a whole other generation of car from that model B! I miss working at that restoration shop, but don't miss the shop owners.
You guys did an awesome job on the engine. Just a thought, on the overhead hoist controls, maybe paint one of the pullers a different color so you know which one is which. Love your channel.
Love your videos! I live near the Memphis Tennessee area and was on a road trip through Banff and the Canadian Rockies area in February. I would have liked to have stopped by your shop but wasn't sure how you felt about visitors.
👍👌👏 That's a really nice looking, period correct service station/cabinet. Congratulations 🎉 for purchasing it. Unfortunately now the red, relatively modern tool chests/boxes are looking kind of misplaced. Maybe some day in the future you will have time to change the colour = paint them. 2) What a good running engine. Sounds strong and smooth. Congrats for a very nice rebuild and modification. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to both of you.
Great video, interesting & entertaining. Was that a certain red Model A Repair Manual that Jim was perusing in the background of the workshop?? I thought you would be using Victor Page!. Cheers.
Love how you guys fine detailed the engine. Very nice to see a video update in a long time. They primer coated Zephir looks very interesting in the background?

Glad to see you guys back and putting out info. Always glad to see early model Ford info. Thanks from East Texas.
Well done, Gentlemen!
Hi what's up ?? Are you guys still doing video's?? We miss you
You need to get with Scott to record your opening with the old 8mm b/w film and fade into color and have the outro fade to black and white
Thanks for the video Guys.
Nice to see you guys again, the garage looks great.
The new rebuild sound awesome, should last for years properly cared for.

Me: Hi Jim, can I get a set of wipers for my wife's Ford?
Jim: Sure, that seems like a fair trade.
That motor is a piece of industrial sculpture. Beautiful, purposeful thing.
Sounds like it was saying "put me in, coach". We like the garage rebuild too.
Thanks so much for keeping the old knowledge alive! 😃
That engine ran magnificently!! Well done, gentlemen!!!
You guys did an awesome job on the engine. Just a thought, on the overhead hoist controls, maybe paint one of the pullers a different color so you know which one is which. Love your channel.
A thing of beauty.
The sound reminds me of the Fordson Dexta tractor my dad had.
The website says they are closed, thats a shame these guys did great work..hope them the best
Is the B engine a updated A engine or a whole different design?
Always good to get a video from you guys...
Love your videos!
I live near the Memphis Tennessee area and was on a road trip through Banff and the Canadian Rockies area in February. I would have liked to have stopped by your shop but wasn't sure how you felt about visitors.
