    • @therecipehut
      @therecipehut  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank You! Yes you can make it in on the stovetop too. Add around 1 1/2 cups of salt in a karahi, place a trivet stand in it, cover it with a lid and preheat it for 15 mins on medium flame. After that put the bread pan cover it and cook it on low to medium flame for approximately 40-45 mins. You should get a pretty similar result. But make sure to check it once after approximately 30 minutes so it doesn't get burnt.

      Thank you! You can keep it for 4-5 hours, if you don't want to keep it over night, that makes the bread less crumbly when you cut it. I did not cover it with a damp cloth, but if you do then please make sure it is very lightly damp, not too much otherwise it will make the bread soggy.

    • @therecipehut
      @therecipehut  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Viritha, generally to substitute yogurt instead of buttermilk equal quantity of yogurt is taken. For 1 cup of buttermilk, you replace it with 1 cup of yogurt. If your yogurt is too thick you can try diluting it a bit, the amount of water would depend on the thickness of the yogurt you take. I hope this helps!

      There can be multiple reasons for the bread to not be baked properly, proper temperature, timing, and method are the key. After mixing the batter it should be put in the oven immediately. If it is uncooked then baking it for a little longer until it is cooked completely also helps.

      The temperature and time for convection mode in a microwave is generally the same as an oven.

      Of course you can directly use buttermilk instead of milk, ~2 cup but you might have to add a little more depending upon the flour. Yes you can bake it in a cake tin as well. Would love to hear from you incase you give it a try! :)

      It would be the same as the quantity of curdled milk. You can find the exact measurements in the description box of the video.

      @therecipehut  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Kavitha,
      I have never personally used rice bran oil for baking bread, so cannot comment on that. I would suggest if you can use flavorless vegetable oil in place of olive oil would be better, but if you want you can give it a try!
      Ingredients
      Whole Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 Cups
      Baking Powder - 3/4 tsp
      Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
      Salt - 1/2 tsp
      Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
      Honey - 1 tbsp
      Vinegar - 1 tbsp
      Milk - 1 1/4 Cup
      P.S. By mistake I had sent you another viewer's msg, hence updating this msg. Thank you for getting that in my notice! :)

    • @therecipehut

      I generally start the oven when I start making the buttermilk. By the time buttermilk is ready and and everything is combined, the oven is ready. So approximately 10-15 minutes.
