I worked for a company that wanted to grow but couldn't. People wouldn't stay more than 6 months. Not even the office staff. It was a revolving door. The issue wasn't the people. It was the owner. The max pay was only $25 an hour when every where else is paying as high as $70+ an hour. The boss was super bi-polar and would scream at people all the time. It's important to mention that treating your workers good and paying them enough to not quit is vital to growth.
I’m 17 and a senior in high school, I want to start a business but don’t know what move to make first. Should I go to trade school for hvac then work my way up?, or should I just go to college for business? An other suggestions would be helpful.
note best video so far i live in the carribean and my step dad those carpentry in america my goal is to make hvac bussiness in all of the carribean countries.i live in saint lucia and when my goal comes true i hope im here to edit this comment and say thank you
Make a post on your facebook, if you go to church usually there are young guys there who want to make money. Ask your friends if they know any one. It will be unskilled labor but you can teach them
I think this 640k figure buisness is the same as welding school saying you gonna earn 50 a hour welding chicken scratch but you keep telling them that so more and more people keep going and joining or am I schizo?
You mean to tell me as a solo hvac contractor we should be pocketing $388,888 a year based on your numbers. Why would you ever hire employees? That’s a great salary. Why get greedy? There’s much more workload than 15 calls and 1 change out a week when you work for somebody for 60k/yr! Make it make sense.
Exactly, I tell people sometimes it doesn’t make sense to hire. If you can make a ton of money without hiring then do it. Sometimes you hire and end up making the same amount

Depends on what you want to do and what your interests are. There is opportunity everywhere. Start with what you like to do.

You don’t think it is possible?
There’s nowhere near as high of a ceiling in welding compared to hvac
