My mama and I used to watch the Paula Deen Show on TV all the time. We both loved every single minute. Paula you are so talented both as a cook and an outgoing personality. Any day that I feel blue I only have to watch you cook and hear your wisdom and I am smiling the rest of the time. Fantastic recipes here that I for sure will be trying. Cannot believe I can have corned beef and cabbage without boiling for hours and ending up with that mushy cabbage you mention! And that raspberry sauce - wow so great! I have a Trader Joe nearby and will be looking for the Crab and Shrimp there. Thank you for all the love and joy and expertise you have shared over the years and for making my mama's last years so incredibly happy!
I miss her show so much. I used to love coming home to a new episode nearly every weekday. I rarely watch the food network anymore now that her shows are gone.
Paula Deen is a disgrace because she never should have been hired by food Network because if I would have hired she would have gotten fired on the spot

I went to Lady & Sons back in 2009. I remember the hoecakes the most...my family & I tried for a long time to duplicate these, but never succeeded. Now I have the recipe! Yay!
I cook my corned beef and cabbage in my crock pot for st Patrick's Day with potatoes and carrots and onions and seasonings in let it cook for hours until dinner time 😋😋
I love Paula. But there is just no substitute for homemade corned beef and cabbage. I cannot not do the canned meat. I'll wait until I have time to have the fresh corned beef slow cooked with the cabbage.

The people they have on Food Network today just don't know how to cook and look stupid ! They should just do away with cooking for good and the Food channel Sucks big time !
