I’m right here with you. Im a 60 year old man that has had all my meals made for me by my wife, Now I get home 3 to 4 hours before my wife… so for the passed 3 years I’ve been doing the cooking and everyone loves it. Today Saturday March 16th I’m making corned beef and cabbage for the family. This woman preparing the food today inspired me to make this meal. Thank you! Muchas gracias y bendiciones.
New viewer here! Your instructions are so clear and pair so well with your video! It's like sitting next to my mom learning from her! Quality video and great recipe!!
I've cooking corned beef by every method imaginable and per my experience the pressure cooker is the best. Rinse well to remove extra salt, pressure cook for 75-90 minutes. Remove from cooker, then pressure cook the vegetables.
Just happened on you today, and I must say that your meal looks fabulous. I like the tip about putting the cabbage in at the end. I have never tried it that way, but it makes sense to keep it from falling apart. The beer and the mustard were a surprise as well. This looks so yummy. Love listening to your voice as well. Thanks for sharing.
Another good thing about it is that it can stay hot and healthy without falling apart in the pot for people who work different hours and don't all eat at the same time. Very versatile.
Thank you for this Dyvonne, I usually just throw everything in the crock pot and let it cook while I'm at work...mmmm nothing like coming home to hot corned beef & cabbage, then throw some jiffy corn muffins in the oven and you got a dinner for kings. Every year, we have a family tradition (my grandma is Norwegian) that if you have corned beef & cabbage on New Years, you'll have luck the whole year through. It might seem like a superstition, but I've never had a horrible year when I have had it with grandma. But the years I was out of state and couldn't, were some of my worst years ever.
Thank you for sharing that story. I agree, there's nothing like a hearty meal after a long day. So glad you enjoyed it!!😊 Fingers crossed for a good rest of the year!
Ms. Dyvonne! I made this corned beef and cabbage exactly as you described, and it was absolutely delicious! Meat falls apart and so tender. Thank you so much for your video! ☘️❤🙏🏾
You have a wonderful, encouraging voice. Thank you so much. I want to include my favorite Irish ☘️ prayer-it always makes me laugh. 😅 May those that love us, love us, & for those that don't love us, may God turn their hearts, and if he can't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we know them by their limping.
I am so relaxed now after watching your video! Such a smooth calming voice. Now I need a nap. Thank you for your beautiful presentation and have a great St. Patricks Day 🍀
Hello, Dyvonne! A new viewer here. I, too, hope you do a lot of traditional meals that can be made primarily in the crock pot. I LOVE to cook but have become disabled in the last two years. The crock pot allows me the ability to still cook! Can’t wait to make this corned beef & cabbage this weekend!
Hello, welcome to my channel! 🙂 I recently created a Playlist with crockpot meals that I've done on my channel. I also have more great crockpot meals to come 😊.
I was skeptical to watch at first, because of the video length but, after hearing your lovely voice and your instructions, I truly believe this will be a delicious corned beef meal I'm making. This is my first time making it, we'll see how it goes!
So I’m going to share my best corned beef recipe, 1/4 cup light brown sugar, dont wash the corned beef 2 tablespoons of McCormick pickling spice one onion cut in half peeled. Black pepper 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinager, i put it on at 8:30am by 2:00pm its so tender I use the broth to cook vegtables carrots cabbage and potatoes. Till fork tender. Cook covered on the stove on med heat. The flavor is amazing everyone loves my corned beef. Give it a try. Just cover the meat with water. Watch it should be enough water. ❤❤❤❤❤
German Americans have been happily snorking down corned beef and cabbage (CBC) for generations. It still surprises me that it's considered Irish. I cut the cabbage into sections through the heart before cooking to keep the leaves together and serve it beside the rest of the vegetables. Put ketchup on and get to work.
I had my bowl(s) of corned beef and cabbage a couple of hours ago. I found myself drooling over that corned beef as you sliced it! Whew, I could eat a crock pot full of that stuff. Well done video. Well done, indeed.
I have been looking on the internet for the yummiest looking corned beef recipes to make this week and you ma'am won by a mile! Cannot WAIT to make this in the crock pot! Also have a new subscriber here!
Nice easy to follow guide. I have been making this for a long time but always like to see how others are making stuff for ideas. Have used all of these ingredients with the exception of the mustard. Going to give it a try!
Made this today. Followed your recipe exactly. It was delicious. I did put in extra veggies. I don't think it would be as good with water versus the beer. Really good flavor. Thanks😊
Your video came up in my news feed today. You are the first person I see that uses guldens besides me. Excellent video and presentation!! Thank you for sharing with us. I Love the apron. Have a Blessed Day!! Happy St Patrick's Day!!
Going to make my corned beef and cabbage this way, and try it with the mustard. My parents had friends who used to bake a corned beef in the oven with spicy mustard on it, it was sooo good. It’s been many years since I had that as a teen in NC- so tomorrow I’ll be making it just like that!
I absolutely love your warm and soothing voice. I just found your channel and liked and subbed. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you cook this traditional Irish meal. Thank you for this video. I will definitely be using some of your tips when cooking for St. Patrick’s Day Dinner this coming Sunday! God bless you and yours. 🙏🏻✝️☘️

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Thank you for sharing your corned beef and cabbage slow cooker recipe. I made it for my family today and it turned out perfectly! I love your channel. Thank you xxx❤
I really don’t know why this is mainly cooked at St Patrick’s Day. It’s one of mine and my husband’s favorite meals. I’m definitely going to use the spicy brown mustard trick next time!
Thank you for your video I have my corn beef already bought have everything ready to go, I appreciate your tips using the mustard I always use mustard when eating it, but never cooked with some on the corn beef, I also use beer one for the pot and one for the cook🤣

It looks fantastic. Personally, I'd hold the carrots back and put them in with the cabbage. I'll eat carrots no matter how they turn out, but I prefer a little resistance when I'm biting into them, which also makes them taste better. Sometimes the really over cooked carrots hardly have any flavor.
I like your calmness and explanation s I did everything wrong plunked my meat in a bath water after 4 hours noe adding veggies and removing some water. Will usr your method next time with the garlic and mustard. Thanks
