Every time I am rescued by a new doggo I dread counting the years. My doggydaddy used to say it's like losing a child every 10 years or so. 😭 But the joy outweighs the pain a thousand fold. Love to Sherpa and hos dad and Sissy and all of his friends 🤗

It’s not that lovely, we have very changeable weather. It was extremely hot 3-4 days ago, yesterday RAIN, today part rain part sun. So I went from being out sunbathing one day to getting into bed with a blanket round me the next. Haha.

In our defence..a lot of us Brits just WILT when it goes higher than about 23/24 degrees...I adore the IDEA of the sun, but the reality...PHEWWW ... also, for the most part, our homes don't have air-conditioning... but I do envy you being in such a beautiful part of the world..keep safe.🐕🇬🇧
It is all relative. I used to live in northern B.C. where -25 Celsius was a warm day in the winter. After that anything above zero is t-shirt weather. Sherpa’s fluff would be perfect for that.
Make Sherpa some pup-cups! Large container of plain yogurt...melt a quarter cup (or more) of peanut butter...stir together and pour into a cupcake tin and freeze. He will love them!

You'll have to make a bunch more frozen treats and keep them in a zip-lock bag in the freezer. He didn't think four of them was enough! Had to lick the smell off the tray! 😄 Do you think Sherpa was offended when you put your feet into his pool? 😄😄
My boy Ralph hates water unless it's to drink from a bowl. We live near sea and have 2 that are 5 minutes away and he won't go near the water lol. Also thank you for uploading today it has really cheered me up, I've been in pain since Friday night and I have no idea what's happened, I can't move the pain is so bad . Thank you Jamie
If you put ice cubes in his water bowl (to cool him down) they will melt just as fast as what you saw in the pool. But if you make ONE BIG ICE CUBE it will last much much longer. Find a bowl that fits in your freezer. Fill it with water tonight and he'll have it all day tomorrow. I've had bulldogs. They are prone to heat stress. I've had to cool them down. I've seen this work. It really works well. You'll be able to dump, clean and refill his water bowl and reuse the ice time and again.

The ice cube thing reminded me of when i fostered dogs the people would make popsicles for dogs using treats or berries/veggies or whatever the dog likes ....they had to lick away till they got to the good parts unless of course they chewed it lol. I freeze watermelon chunks for my dog.
That’s the good thing about the USA we do have air conditioning in our homes and cars. But I do have a pool in the yard for the girls to swim into. They love ice cubes as well, every time we get ice out of the refrigerator they need some too.

Doggie Ice cream is expensive but there are Google recipes on how to make them. Perhaps a video of you preparing a recipe for "ice cream" would be cute.
I know some people who have huskies and malamutes in Texas, where I live. Summer is just a horrible time for both owner and dog. Our usual late summer high temperatures are about 100F (38C).
Love the videos, Sherpa reminds me of my 2 huskies who have sadly passed, they are such clever dogs, Neesha would gladly go in the water to cool down but Nanook hated the water he would jump over puddles rather than walk through them. Omg they were so talkative, they would start howling from 4.30-5pm when they were due there tea time feed. Although I could never let them off lead unless it was an enclosed field or they would be off in flash 🐺💕🐺
Pup cubes! Mum use to make pup cycles she took cleaned cool wipe bowls, then all leftover gravy ,potatoes, meats, vegetables . She kept in freezer adding to it each day until it was full then she would bring it over for Trouble (dog). Happy dog day! Until my brother found them and mum got a microwave . I live in AZ., veterinarians out here are always reminding us if your hungry they are starving if your hot there on verg on heatstroke if your thirsty your already dehydrated and your dog needs help. If you can't walk bear footed and in a fur coat dont force your dog too. Hope you have room air conditioning. Or it cools down at nite. This time of year we're at 80ty to 90ty degrees Fahrenheit at midnight.

Love that you called a 23deg day hot. Here in Cairns in the middle of what we jokingly call winter it was 28deg. We are enjoying the cooler days. Love Sherpa to bits . What terrific conversationalist. What a dog!!!!!

The ice cube thing reminded me of when i fostered dogs the people would make popsicles for dogs using treats or berries/veggies or whatever the dog likes ....they had to lick away till they got to the good parts unless of course they chewed it lol. I freeze watermelon chunks for my dog.
That’s the good thing about the USA we do have air conditioning in our homes and cars. But I do have a pool in the yard for the girls to swim into. They love ice cubes as well, every time we get ice out of the refrigerator they need some too.

Doggie Ice cream is expensive but there are Google recipes on how to make them. Perhaps a video of you preparing a recipe for "ice cream" would be cute.

I know some people who have huskies and malamutes in Texas, where I live. Summer is just a horrible time for both owner and dog. Our usual late summer high temperatures are about 100F (38C).

Where I live in Australia, we can get days up to 47 . My uncle used to have malamutes, but now he has Japanese Akita’s.
Love the videos, Sherpa reminds me of my 2 huskies who have sadly passed, they are such clever dogs, Neesha would gladly go in the water to cool down but Nanook hated the water he would jump over puddles rather than walk through them. Omg they were so talkative, they would start howling from 4.30-5pm when they were due there tea time feed. Although I could never let them off lead unless it was an enclosed field or they would be off in flash 🐺💕🐺

Pup cubes! Mum use to make pup cycles she took cleaned cool wipe bowls, then all leftover gravy ,potatoes, meats, vegetables . She kept in freezer adding to it each day until it was full then she would bring it over for Trouble (dog). Happy dog day! Until my brother found them and mum got a microwave . I live in AZ., veterinarians out here are always reminding us if your hungry they are starving if your hot there on verg on heatstroke if your thirsty your already dehydrated and your dog needs help. If you can't walk bear footed and in a fur coat dont force your dog too. Hope you have room air conditioning. Or it cools down at nite. This time of year we're at 80ty to 90ty degrees Fahrenheit at midnight.
