It's a testimony of quality custom machining whenever you see someone demonstrate the tolerances we see in these videos, by threading a receiver or muzzle brake onto a barrel tenon and witnessing the fitment make a hard stop at the end of the thread travel. Just stops dead against the wall of the barrel like this! I am not a machinist or a gunsmith, but I know the difference enough to appreciate the work. And you really do excellent work Scott. I have not found any custom bolt action rifle guys out there that do a channel like this. Educating the buyer so he/she knows and understands what a precision rifle is and isn't. Nor do they work up "bench-grade" ammo, nor do they follow through with QA through test shooting, nor do they do the custom bore guides. You just don't ever see this except here. a real treat
I'm on the edge of my seat 😁. That is a very inherently accurate magnum round. It is capable of one hole groups. I'm sure it will be a heck of a build.
Liked for a guy using Manson Reamers...They cut Kreiger barrels like butter :) BTW...Brown&Sharpe calipers may impress you much more than the Mitutoyo's

Good ole campfire skits brought from scouts to guntube.
Appreciate you sharing some of your methods with us. Thanks and keep ‘em coming
Dear Sir - you are welcome.
Your working with such close tolerances it certainly shows that you care about what your doing...keep up the great work very impressive
Dear Sir - thanks.
Would the brass not expand to either of the head space set ups . Second fire fire formed?

Dear Sir - very good, thank you.
Cool
Dear Sir - super cool.....thanks.
What is the difference between 6.5-284 Lapua and 6.5-284 Norma?
Dear Sir - one is on Lapua brass, one is Norma Brass. Thanks.......
Thanks, I thought they might be slightly different chambers.@@quarterminutemagnums
@@brianklamer3328 Dear Sir - unfortunately all brass dimensions are NOT identical - this necessitates different reamers. Thanks.
My eyes! my eyes!
Dear Sir - will be supplying 3D glasses soon.......thanks.
The thumb nail and beginning… so weird.
Dear Sir - it is only going to get weirder - is that even a word?
