    Great tip.....M1R - picked up bar leans right......M1L - picked up bar leans left. How did I not know this? Excellent way to double check. Thank you, Jana!

    I hope you go to Utah next year I want to join you so much !!! The shop ladies were so nice to me each time I have been in there !!! Still a raging beginner so maybe next year would be best.

      I’m just not good enough yet to try and go, still learning basics, next year I hope to be learning more stitches. I’m only 2 hours away so it’s easy for me to go…maybe I’ll see you there.

    Liking the mitts, but when it comes to the purls, do I M1P. ?

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I do not. I just do the M1L (make one leaning to the left) and carry on. Since do that make a tiny bar across the stitch that you've twisted to create the new stitch, it'll look just fine when you purl during the next round.

    Hi. May I ask how I'd adapt this into gloves? Thank you x

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't adapted a pattern to gloves, but I would think you could just divide the finger portion into fourths and knit the fingers by pulling the two sides of the knitting together? Although actually I'd suggest just finding a proper glove pattern that you like.

    Jana I recall a M1L by picking up the grandmother of the stitch you knit, place on the left needle then knit tbl or some such thing, are those the same stitches just done with a different technique?

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, different techniques that produce a slightly different result. You'll have to see which you prefer.

    Will it take more than 100 grams of yarn to do full mittens?

    What size needles did you use

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm using 2.5 mm. However, you'll want to use whatever needles give you the gauge recommended on the pattern.

    Her camera is TOO LOW. Hard to see all she is doing...sometimes it goes off camera completely. The demo with the YELLOW glove is awesome!
