Having seen countless thousands of races while chief announcer at Muncie Dragway (including Austin Coil with the Chi Town Hustler) I fell in love with the sport of drag racing.. it may be because it was rebellious and part of my youth. Being a senior citizen now (even older than Force) I admire what John has accomplished as a racer and as a pioneer in safety. NHRA started out as "Dedicated to safety" and convinced all who would give it a look this sport is here to stay. Well done, John Force and team!
I'm 63 and been watching John race from day one. I remember a interview he made and said if I dont win today I will have to go back to driving a truck. John your the best.
I have met John numerous times over the years. He has given me some of his memorabilia and I have given him some items for his museum. I also have an autographed race card from Eric. John is one of the nicest drivers I have had the pleasure to meet.
I am one of John Force biggest fans and how many years ago and got sick I had to have a kidney transplant and go before that is on dialysis and I was on the machine for 12 years it's been two years March 28th 2020 this year I received a new kidney and now we have other things to worry about everybody's life is one thing I do before I can do anything else I would love to see that make it him again and I would love to meet the girls come watch them all race together sniff my goal godspeed with you all be safe when you're apart and together pray for you all the time thank you for your entertainment can you just excite me you make me feel like I want to jump up and down even more with you thank you for sharing your love drag racing with us all ❤🤗🙏🏻
force is the true definition of the american dream he earned everything he accomplished got to meet him at maple grove what a great guy KEEP KICKING THEIR ASSSSSES
years ago while working on the road, wherever we stopped John Force’s funny-car had been on display, the car was loaded up, when the crew displaying the car seen me trying to see in their hauler they opened the doors backup and let me stick my head in, I’ve always appreciated that minute Force’s crew gave me.
I just watch them run at mile high in Denver. Been big into racing and a big fan of his grow up with my dad on the couch watching him. First race ever wasn't able to meet him but seen him and his Brittany and Courtney run was a blast. Only guy to drive down return road and wave to everyone so much respect can't wait to meet you in Ennis in October
WOW!! This is a most excellent video! There's little more to be said about one of our favorite Top Fuel hero's. John Force has indeed come so far and has brought so much to the sport, so we fans can only say Thank YOU John for your personality, for your fun but focused nature and the down right "FORCE"ful determination you've shared with us for so many, many years. You, your sponsors and your family deserve every good fortune we've seen in this video, but we're as well joining you feeling the loss you, your team and Eric's family went and will continue going through. Wishing you every best wish for the future and best of luck designing an even safer 1/4 mile (1000' now days) Land Rocket we call these Top Fuel cars!
This is a truly beautiful video! There are subtleties that are present which make the vid, not only an incredibly professional piece, but also delivers emotion that carries you through to the final seconds. The music chosen couldn't have been any better as well. If there are awards given for excellence in videography, this one should be entered. IMO it would hold its own in competition with all others, with all genres considered. Excellent work John and Company!
Was hoping to see John's fastest ride. While at the southern nationals I seen john make a pass. His daughter was.in the next set of funny cars . John (like any proud dad would. Jumped onto the.pit bike and was at the starting line before was started the car. I was very proud as a dad to see this in person. John your the man.
John is a legend. He could win no matter the equipment. But this shop and program is proof why top fuel classes have so few competitors and why the sport will eventually die. Even the highly above average racers cannot pay to play at this level. Multiple millions upon millions are forget it. And to think top fuel guys used to tow all they had around behind station wagons.
,,,,,,,Thank you Ashley.......I believe you had a big hand in this great video......I love the music,,,,,,reminds me of the movie soundtrack from 'Avatar' ,,,,,compelling,,,gripping.....and thus,,,,,everlasting in the ,,,mind.....
I had the privilege of serving as the track Chaplain at Indianapolis for 9 years and was able to meet and get to know a lot of these drivers and crew members. The heartaches and tragedy’s that I’ve been able to share in are, by the most part, never known by the general race fans so here is my advice. Don’t be too quick to judge or criticize anyone, you’ve probably never walked in their shoes.
John sure has come a long way from growing up in Bell Gardens....I think he is the best active driver in the sport, One of the all time greatest drivers to ever race!!!!!!!!.....For all Johns success racing, His real accomplishment is his family......I like watching his daughters race......I consider them very good drivers.....Eric was lucky to have had such great friends as John and his family....
I used to help a guy who had a fabrication shop in Angola,IN. called Top Speed Fab. We built alot of stuff for John Force racing. I've been in Johns shop in Brownsburg three times when we went there to deliver some things. If you go to the FB site Top Speed Fabrication you can see photo's of some of the stuff we built. We did 14 of his trucks when he changed brands.
Have been a fan during the times we (colors ) only watch from outside tracks. I met ur daughter Ms Ashley in Memphis, TN got a picture sign and she explained how she got into racing and ur family. After meeting her I became a follower of John Force Racing. c u n in both Houston and Dallas 2016. a fan!!!
Im in England .John is Mr Drag Racing .Love His inter Views He Talks Fasted then he Walks.Over The Years. He is Still No1 in My Books . its Just a Shame He Never Came 2 UK at Santa Pod Racway ?
That sign that says "Lion Country Safari / Orange County Raceway" was located on Irvine Center Rd. close to Lake Forest Rd. just down the street from me. I was going to snag that sign, but it looks like John got to it first.
I remember that car, I was a "pit rat" at Irwindale in the 70's too. The Fox Hunt (ladies get in free) and 64 Funny's were my favorite events back then.
Big john with all those nice toys ya got n that fab shop, I think it’s time we discuss building PULLING TRACTORS💪💪 hey it’s just drag racing on dirt lol!! It would fit you perfect big dog👊👍👍
Where I reside, there is no drag strip or motorsports facility in my town. So, in 2017....I went to Vegas and attended the Toyota Nationals. During touring the pits area, I can to watch John Force's pit crew do maintenance on his funny car. I then saw his team start to wear industrial respirators and ear muffs. They started the car to do a test and my eyes started to burn and tear badly....my breathing was bad that I was choking.....I never ever forgot that! I returned to town and told my boss what happened. He shook his head in disbelief and told me "i bet thats the FIRST TIME you had a close encounter with nitrous oxide huh......I said "no shit!!!"
I've always been a fan of Johns' team, ever since I went to my first drag race at 6 years old. I was never a fan of Ford in particular, but John as a person was, and still is so damn good at the sport, and has so much passion for it, that I didn't even care who his team was sponsored by. Still, I'm sorry to hear you guys are losing Castrol, but maybe not so sorry you're losing Ford, haha. I say, try and get in with MOPAR! They need more business, and you need a new sponsor! Besides, MOPARs have always been hangin' in neck-n-neck with your Ford team. But, at the end of the day, whether your car says Ford, Dodge, or Chevy, you're all running Chrysler-based HEMIs baby!
Jesus this place in unreal!! I gotta go here. Thanks for shooting this. It says his net worth is 14 million. lol. It’s gotta be way more than that not ?
I spend allot of time at Sanair race track in St Pie Quebec. It is where he won his first big race sure wish i was there back when top fuel raced here. Goint to Wendys restaurant in Granby to make a few bucks has sure changed for him and his family.
In this Day and age it's a good idea to have your own Media Company .. When it comes to Personalities I have to route for Force over Schumacher from what I have seen...go down..
crazy to see castrol and ford leaving JFR after 20+ years. i hope to see John and Brittany come out of this hole by the 2015 season with a new beginning, a new sponsorship to keep doing what they are doing!
If anyone deserves success coming up from nothing Johhny boy does. He worked his butt for years never quite getting to the top then there was no stopping him.
Hey John hey girls good job congratulations hope to see you soon whenever you guys get to Florida I hope to see you guys again you guys are so fun when you guys worked at the Maple Grove track you guys were awesome I just wanted to say I'm the biggest fan and I also work at the track I remember I was your security guard when you talk to you later have a good one good luck
where does force get the money to finance his operation, is he independently wealthy or does he have other forms of income ,say like Connie kalitta owns an airline service, etc.

Great time capture from the past to present and remembering those that carried the torch
Hopefully a new Major sponsor will step forward soon , good luck in 2014!

Kind of hoping for a "Tour", like the title says. Not just music and a brief overview by video.

they needed to find financial backing through a major sponsor and a manufacturer to keep racing.
Now John has a Camarofunny card and is sponsored by Peaks antifreeze
If anyone deserves success coming up from nothing Johhny boy does. He worked his butt for years never quite getting to the top then there was no stopping him.
