Around say 1980 or so at Bandimere speedway home of the mile high nationals while I was just a kid about 13 walking thru the pits with my Dad, Mr.John Force whom was taking a break from the day between qualifying rounds looked over at my Dad and I and invited us to have lunch with him , which we graciously accepted, was a memory Ill never forget , and what John Force gave me that day other then a lunchmeat sandwich and chips and the chance to have lunch with my hero, was the realization that the Hero was my Dad , Mr Force Running an unusual 2nd in that race . A day I will never forget ! Thank you so much Mr. Force , you are a class act and a credit to the sport and a even better credit to not just the race down the track but to the human race . Thank you so much. Dave Byrley
Got to meet and speak with John years ago at the Strip in Vegas early one morning. Super nice guy and was really excited when I told him I came all the way from Alaska to see the races. He promised I would have a great time, and I did.
Great job Ashley! I watched the entire series and it was an incredible documentary about drag racing, your family and all the ups and downs. You not only proved yourself on the drag strip but also behind the camera. You are quite the lady coming from a great family. Best of luck to you all.
When I was in my teens, my stepfather took me to Green valley raceway, just north east of Ft Worth Tx and I was introduced to drag racing. I loved watching the Anglias with big block engines stuffed in them, the Plymouth furies, and chevy Impalas all with fender well headers. I thought that it was the greatest thing I had ever experienced. Well after High school I was drafted and spend some time in the army but it was after the army that I finally went to the drags again and things were changing. I had a 64 ford Galaxie XLwith a 390 and four speed that I bought from my Mom and took it several times and the last time racing, I went against a 442 oldsmobile and beat it by just over a car length. But the change that was taking place that was really exciting was the top fuel cars and the speed they were reaching. Then came you. Man what a treat. I want to thank you, your family, and Robert for the experiences. Im so grateful for your safty in the sport and when you wrecked at Ennis I lifted you and your wife up to the Lord in prayer. Thanks for the example of teamwork and energy you bring to the sport.
I can still recall John winning an event; when the camera crew shows up to do the victory lane interview, he was very short with the camera crew (even more short than usual), as he ran to the tow truck he shouts over his shoulder "excuse me my daughter is being born I have to go!" I believe that is the youngest, who's in a funny now! LOL
Hi Johnny! Too funny! Been a fan forever. We went to a race I. Phx early one Sunday morning and my buddy wanted his picture taken with you car behind him.as I was taking the pic you came up and held up bunny ears behind his head!too damn funny. We've been major fans ever since.too bad my back is. Trashed,I would co e work for you or anyone of your team. I spent 20+ yrs in Auto Parts/machine shops and loved the sport every bit as much as your family did. My last job in the industry was working the 1-800 tech Lind for Federal Mogul. That was crazy and fun as hell. Helping the weekend sportsman and the pro teams who needed specs on our parts, mostly Pistons and lifters for the pros and everything else for the little guy. It was rewarding.before that I worked for a mom and pop three generations deep that did machine work, engine work and parts at killer prices.to see my customers build their baby's, then bring them in when they were done was the most rewarding experience of my life. Once you break in a Cam, take the car to the brackets, you're hooked.... period. To have you're entire family involved makes you the richest man on earth! Go team Force!!! And if you ever need help.....
Ashley, Just had to tell ya. You did a great job putting this together. My wife and I enjoyed it very much.Keep up the good work. Your just as good at this as a driver!
An Awesome idea, it let's us want to be racers see a REAL team behind the scenes. All aspects of making the Video were Excellent!!! Thank You !!!I Met John back around 1970 at the IHBA Races at Firebird Raceway. He was introduced at the awards by the guy handing out the Trophies, John took the microphone from him and 20 MINUTES later he finally gave it back. All the time this Guy was following him around trying to get it back, IT WAS HILARIOUS & everybody was in just cracking up.
I know early on he was sponsored by GM he raced an Oldsmobile and a Chevrolet and now he's back with GM but it's just odd not to see him wearing Castro colors and running a Ford Mustang
Great family of racing legends!!!!. I do wonder if a sponsor gets their money's worth by having one of so many decals displayed on the cars. It seems to me that most people would not be influenced by seeing a decal on a race car and be inclined to purchase a product from that company. I know I would not be.
fckn europ. tv brought some episodes with german sync. some years ago- it was exciting- entertaining - just awesome - dont know why they cancel. it but i hate it and i miss them !!.. great family!
john force you use to be my hero till you said you was a fox fan. wow i thought you were a hole lot better then that. maybe you should go back to ford. you and your girls was dynamite and was my hero.

What's that white ring around the sidewall of the rear tyre around the 0:15 mark?
I can literally fall asleep to the sound of a nitro fed, blown top fuel engine idle
what is the music in the beginning? Thank!
Is that the black ops 2 soundtrack?
❤️🏁
I know early on he was sponsored by GM he raced an Oldsmobile and a Chevrolet and now he's back with GM but it's just odd not to see him wearing Castro colors and running a Ford Mustang
