Never been on a train journey from the drivers perspective, never seen ringwood or lilydale either despite being born in essendon so thanks. The rain made it more enjoyable.
@@tressteleg1 ive often wanted to work on the train line but i dont think i could hack being a conductor if you get troublesome passengers and i daresay you need special training to be a driver, do you have any video of coldstream at all, ive always wanted to see that, i like the name.
@@johnb1150 I don’t know where you get the idea from that you will be a conductor. Melbourne trains and trams have been one person operated for many years. The only contact a train driver has with passengers is when they have to help somebody get on and off when in a wheelchair.

Between Ringwood and Lilydale, 3 level crossings in Ringwood East, Croydon and Lilydale will be removed by 2025 and building new stations at Croydon and Ringwood East.

I suppose it all depends on passenger loadings and whether the single track often results in delays.
Will be duplicated eventually, I imagine when the new 'Kinlsey Station' is built halfway between.

Our driver has told me that he has ‘done’ that line recently, so I expect to pick up the goodies in February.
