Very well done! Technically correct and helpful. I twirled for years. My finger twirl sequences were my strength. I had a physical advantage being double jointed in my joints. My fingers when extended curl upwards.
As a child I remember a girl on holiday who was a majorette. She could do all the baton twirling and I sort of got a hand roll from one to another but the finger twirls fascinate me! At the ripe old age of 61 I’m going to try and learn this with my drumsticks lol 🥁
Just started twirling two weeks ago at the silly age of 53. Doing fairly well with forward and reverse 4 finger twirls (and with bending over two hundred times a day to pick up the baton) but I'm having a lot of difficulty with the rollover and with the eight finger twirl. You make it look soooooooo easy! Your videos are incredible. Do you have any suggestions for learning how to manage the baton when you are maneuvering it across the backside of the fingers?
Me: *struggling while the nice music is playing in the background* If you can relate to this, and you're struggling, don't worry. Practice makes perfect! Keep on practicing, and eventually you will get it! You have to start from somewhere :D . If you like twirling, keep on doing it, don't give up doing what you love. That's some motivation for you.
I live this comment so much with my whole heart THANK YOU🥰💜💜💜 Im always super discouraged when I want to learn something new and I just panic and give up 😒 Ive always been a dancer but I have very poor motor skills and balance due to my autism so I always feel completely stupid when trying to practise some new skill. Thank you so much for this comment it made my whole day and made me feel less stupid and useless💜
What a awesome tutorial. Wonderful teacher also. I have two granddaughters and I hope to teach them twirling with your help with videos. Use to twirl when I was young. So glad it is still around. Hugs!!!!
Thank you so much for this, I literally just started learning and I have learned so much from you in such a short amount of time! You are also so pretty girl!💜
I agree with the previous review, great explanation. I've been practicing twirling for a few days to help regain some dexterity in my hands. You're to the point, and technically correct. Thanks
Thank u so much for the tutorial. My grand daughter planning to join majorette school band. I'm already 50 plus yo I forget already some steps of baton twirling .
I've been flowing with a 4' stickmobility dowel, a 4' broom handle, and a 4' 1/2" PVC pipe, focusing on finger twirls lately. Did a little martial arts as a kid and something told me to search finger twirls for batons. Glad I did. Super efficient finger moves. Have you applied them to a dowel or bo?
Me trying to start with normal moves.. its ridiculous how hard it is to keep the Fingers back. But well your beautiful and the explanations is Perfekt, guess I have to keep training 😁 Thanks :)
Hi Ms Adaline how do you measure the length of your baton and diameter? Your very good what you do. It looks fun to do , I'm starting I have fat linger but I would love to try that. 😋
Girlfriend should have used some polish remover first. Yikes. Or at least added a coat. But still great video and I am going to try this. Buying a baton from Amazon. woop.
i wanna do the whole twirling stuffs... but since we have limited space...and im still shy doing baton twirling outside... i will just practice with the firgers first
This is honestly the most amazing and in depth video on the internet 😭 you've taught me so much in just the first 6 minutes and 50 seconds
