- The Lexus LX 600 F Sport takes the already impressive LX adds additional style and makes the handling even better with 650 levels of dampening. Its 3.4L twin turbo V6 puts out 409 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque making this the most powerful LX ever. However, the price tag generates quite a bit of sticker shock. Is this more than just a fancy Toyota Sequoia? Does the LX600's performance and capability match its price tag, or is it overhyped and overpriced?

Everyone raving about gx550 but this is built to higher standards. Tundra and sequoia are no where near the quality of an lx and lc300
Lexus LX will always be the King of all SUV’s. No Range Rover, Mercedes, BMW or Rolls Royce could come close to it. Period!
It’s a great SUV, but I wouldn’t call it the King of all SUVs. I don’t even know if I’d call it the King of its class, but it’s a contender for sure.
Lol, Don’t get carried away. It is not even close to the Range Rover, Maybach, Q7 or X7. Reliability is the best? Yes. But luxury features? 👎🏾 NO

Great review man. This would be my choice as well due to the fact that its both plush and capable simultaneously. Its long term reliability will most likely outshine all the others in this segment as well.

Thanks for the thorough review. I am considering this, previously owned the LX 570, this is kicked up a coupke notches! And while I really like the Sport version exterior styling, I am not a fan of the red and/or black interior, which I know is all it comes in 😕

@@MOHAWKAUTO I am hoping they add massaging seats in the front (they should be standard) or I may have to look at the GX550. I don’t think the GX offers as much luxury as the LX. Keep up the good work.
How tall are you ?

At this price point, I expect a larger full LED Speedometer/and Instrument cluster, no analog gages for the temp, gas, it looks so ugly. More charging ports for phone in rear third row seats, a rear wiper that is hidden and tucked under the rear spoiler so it is hidden, a panoramic moon roof, better ambient lighting, little bit more ergonomic interior design to compete with MDX and Mercedes, better handling and road hugging like the BMW. Issue with the front grille is that it is all plastic, there is no bumper. So if you parallel park and someone backs into your front as they are leaving, your front plastic grill will crack, especially in really cold weather. For these reasons, I did not buy this vehicle. If Lexus addresses the above, then this vehicle will be a serious Range Rover fighter and a contender for the best full size SUV ever made and I will purchase one!
