Got my ‘22 luxury this year with less than 20k miles. Absolutely in love with this car, I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it tbh. There’s a reason you basically can’t find them at dealerships or on the road with less than 3k being made a year for the US market. The GX is nice but you can tell a world of difference in the build quality
I was looking at this but really, the back row screens are a definite no-no for me. Find it ridiculous to have such in the back. Each person does have their own. Imagine a collision and they hit into the screens. Anyway I won’t get one if there’s no option without some of the decorations like that.
Second row screens are a leftover from a couple of decades ago. I don't get it. OTOH, if second row passengers hit those screens, they're either not belted or the crash is so severe that they're going to be hospitalized at minimum.
Great review 👍 Time will tell if these are as bulletproof as the LX570. It is amazing how each new generation makes the older generation a gem. The LX450 are on another level of a gem. I wish those were available to buy today but unfortunately time cannot be bought.
Nice exterior particularly in that shiny green. I agree the two screen layout is such an afterthought 🤦♂️ Roominess is lacking vs. GM triplets. Honestly doesn’t matter if it lasts, In this market GM triplets dominate because they are roomy for passengers and luggage and haul and designed beautifully inside and out. This Lexus IS niche product nothing else.
I mean the LX 600 is very good if you compare it with the Japanese rivals but if you compare it with the American and European big Luxury SUV´s for over $ 100k, than I would say it´s mediocre. Thank you 😀
It’s a very capable off road vehicle as av4 WD so it would put any SUV to shane . Its a great daily driver that you can take it off the beaten track. There is no vehicle in its class .?

Many of the luxury and sport models do not come with the screens.
Great review 👍

Do you think the Front and Rear diff. will come in the future? And also bring back KDSS to the LX?
Hard to say, but I'd say very likely in the long term when they need to add some excitement to the lineup.
The interior is a bit disappointing and the drivetrain is mostly the same as the new GX550
The interior is nicer than the GX550. The drivetrain may be similar on paper. They do not feel the same as the LX is smoother.

They should make the rear tail light like the Cadillac escale the rear look cheap for a luxury suv👎
Grill is horrendous!!
$100 k and no massaging seats. New gx 550 has them.
