Honestly if the sunroof is your only gripe then get the Okavango. Other than that, this is a vastly better car with loads of features and a REALLY good fuel economy plus coding exemption. Way better car.
I was really disappointed that this ph spec does not have the sunroof that other markets have, I just wish that they would add that sooner, because it just adds more premium feeling to the overall vehicle, specially with the price. 🌟
I suspect theyre saving it for the Fortuner release. Then theyll add the sunroof to the Zenix when facelifted. But honestly it’s only the sunroof that’s missing. Even the ottomans and the power tailgate are included in the PH market. Sunroof lang naman talaga kulang that’s it.

Clarification: the advertised 188 Nm of torque is for the engine alone. For some reason I can't comprehend, Toyota has not published the combined engine and electric motor torque figures. Until they do, we can't say for sure but my guess is probably around 300+ Nm.
It’s hard to measure torque from electric motors because of some complicated physics thing haha! I tried reading on it, but was too complex for me to understand

The Zenix is actually directly competing, and aimed squarely, at the Okavango, along with some other MPV-crossover offerings like the Chery Tiggo 8 and GAC GN6 for the chinese brands, and probably the Honda CR-V (FWD) and Mitsubishi Outlander as its direct japanese rivals, all mentioned are front-wheel drive MPVs as well. The Honda Odyssey is a minivan and is competing with the US-based Toyota Sienna minivan which we don't have.
@@KyleLiongCars Other than the hybrid it hasn't evolved that much. But meh, I won't be buying another Toyota unless they bring the Crown here and since we don't get the Sienna I guess this is how it is for us.

it is an innova. zenix is a sub variant/class just like in corolla there is an altis, furia, levin and so on. if it is a zenix toyoya should have removed the innova badge but no innova is bigger than the zenix

DVR (dashcam)

We have multiple cars with sunroofs. Tbh, I use them like uhhh once a month at most. They’re nice to have, but honestly, not worth paying more for. They also have a chance of leaking after many years.
