On a street car I would call this a rice mod. The brakes don't get super hot in normal driving. Now if you took the car to the track every weekend, and or had a track only car. This mod would benefit you.

Now if I had a track car this would intrest me. As its from a known company, but I doubt I would buy it from subie speed. I also know they sell good items, but I haven't heard really any thing good about them from a customer side. Just put it this way. They know what their market is, and its not me. That's ok in my books. I'm not trying to fit in wirh 20 year olds in wrxs. When I'm almost middle aged my self.

What ever happened to the boomba racing brake cooling aluminum things....a lot simpler..... The reason I ask is that the earlier VAB chassis (pre 18 front) APR ducts looked beautiful. These look awful. What were they thinking? Sure, I know function...function...function....but much of the time I want to look at my car when off the track. ..... Anway, really dissapointed in APR on this one and will not buy these. Would if not so horrendous looking. For the dollars involve,d a little design would have helped a lot.

Will these increase or decrease the lifespan of the brakes?
Its made to cool down your brakes so im assuming it will save your brakes
