GMT-800 (1999 - 2006) Silverado Jump Seat swap to 2014 - 2019 seat

Video of my process for installing a newer jump seat/center console in my 2005 silverado regular cab truck. I took the new jump seat from a 2017 Silverado extended cab LT.

Does the center seat sit "level" with the bucket seats? How bad is it angled? I was looking into doing the 07-13 style swap but I'd much rather go this route thanks so much for posting. Thats great info, and I have a welder at home 😂

They are angled the same as the originals. They sit flat. Basically sit just like the original jump seat on the bottom. The back rest sits backwards about an inch or so from the other seats but it doesn't affect how you sit in it. I can send you photos if needed

did the 2017 seat come with that bracket already attached? all the jump seats I see online done have those brackets at the bottom ..

Nevermind I just saw it’s the same bracket from the original console, great video gave me the confidence to try it on mine soon haha thanks!

I'm not familiar with those jump seats. If they are similar I would guess you could do this process as well.
