This one isnt brand new, it's at least 4 years old and it's really solid. Most GMT-900 platforms with this console I've seen in the shop also have been really solid.
You could buy a whole new truck and pay that price every month for the next 6 years instead. I don't understand comments like this. If $800 is a big deal to freshen up your interior, add more productivity and storage solutions then you definitely won't like a fast majority of my videos, because it's offensive that things cost money. Save $100 a month and in 8 months you can afford it. Stop buying $3 coffees everyday or work some overtime. There you learned how to save as well.
The bottom cushion is almost in the same spot, do you just have to see how far the shifter throw back. Hurst makes a short throw shifter I believe for the trucks that will really tighten up the shifts.

I never understood why they designed it so that when there are 3 pepole in the front seat, there are no cup holders, but when there are 2 pepole in the front there are 3 cup holders. kinda strange don't you think?
The only think I can think why, it's possible through research they got feedback that people sitting in the middle were kicking the lower cup holders? And maybe to have bottom and top cup holders raised costs too much. I do really like have the 3 cup holders up top for regular use.

How often does that happen?
AnthonyJ350 I’m 17 so a lot tbh I ride with a lot of friends
Anyone know where to find this jump seat/console seat? It is no longer available on the site givin and the closest one to me is 3 states away( on FB Marketplace) with no shipping options, i`m screwed!! Help Please!!!
Are there any junkyards in your area?
@@AnthonyJ350 yes but, they were either torn up or already gone... I did find one through LKQ ( A reseller with a national database) Havent done the swap yet though, we have some snow on the ground and its way to cold to do it! ( I dont have a garage anymore). Soon as the weather breaks the jump seat and seat covers are going in! thx for the vid!!
@@MikeE-hb8zb Awesome! You'll love the extra storage this thing has.
I want the old jump seat😢😢
Ive got a jump seat
Sorry, turning it into a work seat.
There’s a specific socket for the front seat nuts.
Yaaaaaaa, but why????
Will this work in a 01 suburban?
Yes it should
Is this the same for a 2004 Tahoe
Should be, I'm pretty sure the seats and the floor pan are the same.
I have a 2011 1500 with that console and after a couple years it starts that squeaking sound when put arm on console. just a fyi.
This one isnt brand new, it's at least 4 years old and it's really solid. Most GMT-900 platforms with this console I've seen in the shop also have been really solid.
Can I get the captain seats in the back of the tahoe
Some Tahoes of this generation had it available I believe.
Wow, and to think it costs only ~$800 bucks at that link you provided. I will DEFINITELY do this upgrade (once I win the PowerBall jackpot).
You could buy a whole new truck and pay that price every month for the next 6 years instead. I don't understand comments like this. All I'm doing is providing you with an option, no one said it's mandatory to do the upgrade.
Will a 07 console bolt up to a 05 ?
It should
Has anyone installed this in 99-06 Silverado with a MANUAL trans? Will it affect shifting at all?
The bottom cushion is almost in the same spot, do you just have to see how far the shifter throw back. Hurst makes a short throw shifter I believe for the trucks that will really tighten up the shifts.
Bartolo Mena I just installed the same one. If anything it is so much more comfortable.
I installed one already also lol
@@bartolomena221 How was the fitment?
@@AnthonyJ350 it’s perfect if you ask me there’s no need for a short throw shifter
Wat year was the new console from???
It would range from 2007-2013. There are 2 different styles that I'm aware ofm
do you have a link to the exact one you got
Got them directly from Rough Country www.roughcountry.com/chevy-neoprene-seat-cover-set-91015c.html
Thinking about doing
This also to my 2007
Chevy avalanche but
$480 to me is crazy
Guess i will try a junk
Yard see if they have
And or asking for
Crazy prices also.
Cheaper than a truck payment for 1 month.
@@AnthonyJ350 wouldnt know havent
Had a truck payment in 16 years. Greed
Is what it is for $480 i can wait till i find
A deal.
@@AZ_WEDDO They're kind of rare. That's what I had to pay for mine. There is no equivalent from the aftermarket.
@@AnthonyJ350 question i see it comes with a lock (simuliar) to the
Avalanche push in locks. Can you
Change the lock or rekey it?
@@AZ_WEDDO I've never tried re-keying so I couldn't tell you.
I wouldnt swap im my opinion, the older seats are better due to the arm rest pulling down. I use it all the time, and it is my favorite feature of the seat😅
The driver and passenger seat are the original. Only changed out the middle.
Whats up the head unit on the floor????
Oh check it out here th-cam.com/video/7rl6DSUgmHw/w-d-xo.html
Will a 2018 for on an 03?
You'll have to modify the lower bracket to make it work.
@@AnthonyJ350 fabrication or just drilling some holes/hammering?
@@stupidsnek I believe fabrication. I think some people have done it if you check the forums.
Nice. I wanted to see how you wired the 12 volt. What harness? But it does look nice. 👍
I ran wires along the floor and found thick gauge wiring on the passenger side of the dash and added a fuse.
how much $$ is the newer console & where's it from & whats the sku #'s...... & how long it take to get to u there roughly...what web site it come from.......????
Just search for them on ebay, that's all I did.
What year center console is that
This one was 2010 I believe
Will this fit in a 2000 chevy Silverado the same way
@@betterthanyou2894 I would think so. The seats look the same and the cab itself never really changed.
Have u done any other interior buildd
@@betterthanyou2894 This is the most thorough one on TH-cam. I have videos on my 350Z and custom enclosures in other vehicles.
@ 5 19 or so..... u should have all 3 consoles in line so we all honestly see the newer 2014 one's compared to the other 2 there........ i wonder how much a 2014 console is any where ??? WHERE EVER U ALL LIVE NO MATTER WHAT CITY & STATE FIND OUT AT LOCAL JUNK YARD'S OR WHERE EVER & GET PRICES IF U ALL WOULD..... & BE READY TO BUY EM UP & SHIP 'EM OUT TO US ALL THAT CAN'T GET EM SO EASY YET.........
You want me to purchase all three just for a prop? Maybe in a few years when people start putting money in the channel so I can afford to do it, we could do stuff like that.
