Let's spread some positivity - what is the best thing that has happened to you lately?! Thank you everyone for watching & I hope you have a fab week! 😊❤✈ JJ
I submitted my Masters dissertation last week, now onto the next step of finishing off my Italian dual citizenship. Lots of positive things on my horizon.
My positive for this video is that my husband had a massive heart attack a few years ago which resulting him receiving a pacemaker/defibrillator implant. A month ago the defibrillator tripped twice. Medications were changed. Last week he went into the hospital for tests. We received the test results Friday and everything is good. Cardiologist feels that the defibrillator tripped due to fatigue. My husband’s job is extremely physical so fatigue does make sense. No further changes were made and he got the “good to go” response. God is SO good!
I’m currently visiting my Mother in the state of Georgia. She is 94 years old and staying with my cousin who 93 years old. Amazing how strong these two women are especially when I have chase them around when they are in Walmart. 😊
My positive is that my older brother had a very extensive open heart surgery. He came home and was airlifted back to the hospital a week later due to a bleed. He was in the hospital for another 2 weeks and was then sent to a home for rehab. He is coming home at the end of the week and is doing so much better. He is so strong now. Thanks be to God. I've been praying like crazy.
My positive thing is that I made 35 years at my Job. (Target) I didn't plan on it, but so grateful. Health, wealth, and Happiness Julia. Blessing Traci
The best thing that ever happened to me actually happened 46 years ago today. It was the day I became married to my wonderful wife. Today is a day filled with love and lotsof happiness! Here's hoping you have many great days.
Luna is so cute! My cat Peyton steals my bookmarks if they have a hassle. He’s super fast too. He will stalk it and then grab it and rub before it even realize he’s got it. 😂 So that is my positive - my cat is a bookmark stalking cuddle bug. 😂
In addition to brightening my (and our) days with your own authentic positivity in all of your videos, I had a feel-good moment at work yesterday! I work in Hospitality at Malvern Retreat House (not far from Philly!) and worked a retreat for married couples this past weekend. As they were leaving, a gentleman approached me and asked for my full name because he wanted to give me a special mention in his review! It reminded me just how grateful I am for my job and the work that I do to ensure everyone has the best possible experience on his or her retreat!
I've been to Alcatraz last year and it's so worth it. If you can take the last ferry there, so you can see the sunset and also the amazing night view of the city from the island. It's also just such a cool vibe to visit the jail when it gets dark outside. I loved the experience.
@@JettingJulia - Did you see your airline has announced new European destinations for 2025 out of PHL? Let's hope you have enough seniority to be able to catch a PHL > EDI turn with enough of a layover to castle visit, since you've mentioned that before in other vlogs. As always, Cheers from GEG!
Just returned from Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. 11 days as a Offical in the shooting. Really enjoyed the competition and meeting old friends. Love your videos and love watching Luna mess up your bed. Look forward to your next vid. ❤️
So I’ve become a nanny to Freddie. He is now 3 weeks old and gorgeous. My son also got married 3 weeks ago. So we have had a very busy and wonderful August. Now enjoying autumn and September with our little man. 🤩
My positive thing I'm celebrating is being at my job for a year and a half. Prior to this job I only worked in retail and I hated it so much. Finally after so long of trying I got a job that is fulfilling.
My positive is that after a decent day at work at a job I love, I came home and I’m snuggling with my kitty in comfy Jammie’s watching TH-cam. Not a bad life overall.
I love your channel. You are always so positive. I feel so proud today. My granddaughter has just been made head student at her school. She is an amazing girl who so deserves this award.
Luna was determined to get that bookmark!! She is a silly girl, but so adorable ❤ I've been to SF just once and visited Pier 39 and the Golden Gate bridge, but missed out on Alcatraz. How fun that you got an 'accidental' souvenir T-shirt!! 😊
I went to San Francisco for my honeymoon, Alcatraz was on my bucket list. It was fascinating and did not disappoint. We then took a cruise down the California coast and sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge. Such happy memories. The flight back to the UK was tough though. I hated all 11 hours in economy 😂😂
I have been to Alcatraz 2 times and really enjoyed both trips! I love history and this prison is loaded with stories and history! They give you a headset to listen to so you go through at your own pace and can stop and look around anytime you want to.
We love your videos! (My wife worked as an attendant so it’s fun to see what it’s really like!). Using the hanger clips to keep the curtain closed….what! Mind blown!! What a great idea!!
I have three. 1) Going on a mom-daughter trip with Alicia❤ 2) Getting Max-he has really helped me! 3) All the visits from you-I love that you can fly home for quick visits❤
If you are ever back in the SF area and want to see Alcatraz you could try going down to the pier where the ferry's leave from and see if you can get a ticket by going in person. Many years ago I took a large group but not everyone showed. They said since I had purchased the tickets with my reservation the extras were mine to do what I wanted with (give away, sell to someone on the street etc) so you may be able to purchase one or be gifted one if you go and see. I just gave my extra away, so you never know.
I LOVE the positivity idea! 🦄 My positive is that several big financial decisions/issues my husband and I have been very worried about have resolved! Thank you, God!
Hi Julia 👋 my positive moments today was watching Luna do her zoomie tornado 😆 and watching our furbabies running and playing in the yard without a care in the world. Nice Costco haul and shirt. Super cute. Tfs 😊
Hi Julia! Love your videos! I can’t imagine how bad it is to have your job! All that scheduling conflict, and inconvenience must be terrible! It’s nice to see you are grateful for your “On-Call” schedule! But, it’s nice to see your colored boots and socks! It’s gotta be really bad for have to go through all that… The whole packing of bags and such! I can’t imagine all those hotel rooms and those “wake-up” alarms! I think we all agree it sucks that the flight was stress free, and no turbulence, but you’re hungry. Enjoy breading your hair and having an “off” day! We can’t wait to see your next adventure!
I noticed that you wear glasses sometimes after long trips, maybe switching from contacts? I have extremely dry eyes, and used to wear contacts, and my optometrist recommended a Bruder mask that I got on Amazon. 30 seconds in the microwave, wear the mask for 10 minutes, and my eyes get blurry from how lubricated they become. It’s AMAZING! Highly recommend if you’re a dry eye sufferer!
My positive is that I’m excited you were in SFO because that’s my base! I do the American Eagle or Alaska SkyWest in the B gates where you were. I also work Delta Connection and United Express. I have 4 different scarves depending on which one I’m working.
Tonight, I discovered your videos and have enjoyed watching them. After watching several of your videos, I've got some idea what my son''s life was like flying domestic. He works for a major airline (DEN based) and is now an International Purser (HBIC) and can get a line every month; his seniority is finally paying off. I chuckled one day when he told me he had no idea what day it was. Keep smiling and hope all new contracts will pay all FA's for all airport time as well as boarding and deplaning time (or at least allow FA's to have cattle prods to aid in boarding and deplaning; in another life I use to travel a lot).
This was during Labor Day in San Francisco. We had a very nice weather there. No fog. Temperature here was 64°F Been on the Golden Gate Bridge and on top of the Coit Tower and I enjoyed Lombard Street. These places you gotta visit since I am a local and resident here.
I’m a native Northern California person, (the real Northern California). I’ve been to Alcatraz a few times and enjoyed it every time, and don’t forget to have an Irish Coffee from the Buena Vista and chocolate’s from Ghirardelli
My favorite airline is American. Recently I was visiting my family in Maine and while there I had fallen and hurt my left knee. So I decided I better upgrade to first class on my flight home to L.A. I had the best experience, I want to fly first from now on. I appreciate how hard flight attendees work and care about their job. Thank you Julia for doing a fantastic job.
My positive for this video is my husband and I are expecting our first baby within the next few days!! I’m 39 weeks and we have an induction tomorrow night due to medical reasons! Prayers and warm wishes would be awesome and sending love to everyone else!!!🩷🩷🩷
Hope this reserve month treats you good Julia! Something good that happened to me is that I’m gonna start my flight training this month! Hopefully one day I’ll be the one flying one of those planes!
Yes, the Alcatraz tour is really worth it. It has so much history, mystery and intrigue plus it has been preserved from when it closed in 1963. If you can, buy your ticket on-line a couple of days ahead because San Francisco really doesn't have a low season because the weather is mostly sunny year round. Take a jacket or warm sweater because it gets cold on the island later in the day!
Hey Julia❤Love your positivity! Alcatraz is totally worth it and next time you are in San Fran, go to City Lights Bookstore…home of the “beatniks” back in the day like Jack Kerouac… it’s cool and lots of history! My positive thing is that my friend who teaches yoga in her home started her classes again tonight. She is wonderful and peaceful, always a beautiful experience. Take care, love following your journey!
We love a good run to Wawa here in Bucks County ! Honestly, it sounds silly but most days I am just happy to greet the day and learn something new whether at work or play! Love the red jacket too!
My positive for this month is that I got accepted into a mediation program which will hopefully help me change my career from behind the desk to working with people to help them through difficult conflicts. Also, SF is my favourite city and when you are back some time try to visit the city lights bookstore - thanks so much for your lovely videos
Great video Julia. I always love a good Luna zoomie and tornado. My good news is I was on British TV on Saturday night. On a show called Blankety Blank.
I would definitely recommend visiting Alcatraz. It has been a while since I did the tour, but it was really interesting. I also got to do a tour once at night which added an extra element to the tour (can't remember if the night tour was a special thing or if it a normal offering).
On the Positive Im going back to school at CCP. im taking a leave this semester from flying just to get my self acclimated to online learning and figuring out what i can handle. Im really excited because ive never took online classes, and baby - im from nola and call everyone baby - im so thrilled. Its nice knowing when i return to flying Ill have school to fill in all the down time we have and itll feel like im getting paid to go to school, ya know. Other than that just enjoying this GORGEOUS weather we are having in West Philly and my dog
I always check those bloody hotel alarm clocks. It only takes 1 time being woken up when you don’t expect it. I was at SFO this Saturday. Flew home from EWR. My + was seeing my lil’ college buddies today in my lecture class. Luv my friends!!! Hi Luna ❤
OMG, you're so right. When I saw that streetcar something rang a bell in my head, and that's what it was! I went to uni in Toronto in the early 80s. A lifetime ago. Been in London (UK) ever since, but yup. Remember those streetcars. Thank you.
You’re in SF at the most beautiful time of the year here. Glad you enjoyed our city. ❤ it’s totally worth doing Alcatraz at Least once! Really cool old place with an interesting history.
1:35 yes, it does happen, you are proof. Good job sneaking in a Bahamas trip even if you don't get to get off the plane and enjoy it more but we know you wouldn't have complained about being stuck at the beach. Going to SF sounds less fun these days though it used to be a beautiful place. When I saw that Phantasma book, it reminded me of a 90s computet game Phantasmaoria. a 7CD game, didn't play it much but did buy it back in the day. The art looked similar too.
Hi Julia, How does reserve work for your airline? I am a flight attendant for SWA.💛❤️💙 At SWA, the reserve system is a rotation. All F/A below the top 35% in each base will sit reserve, which is usually every third or fourth month, depending on your base. Once you are in the top 35% of your base, you never sit reserve again. Every base's top 35% is different. I’m based in LAX. It’s 10.5 years before you reach the top 35%. In PHX, it’s 23 years; in DAL, it’s 19 years. To give you an example. My positive is my sweet little granddaughter, who is 6 yrs was so proud of herself for spelling the word purple. 💜
Hey Julia. A positive thing for myself would be that I started a new job in the company I work for in June. In the previous role, for the last 18 months, I had been hating going to work. I now look forward going to work.
Great vlog as always, Julia. I was hoping that you might go to fisherman's wharf when you were in SF and see the sea lions because they are so cute and funny. Speaking of funny, i think it's funny that Luna wanted your bookmark. It's always great to see the Luna Tornado
After 4 years of not really being able to take a vacation after helping my Daddy take care of my Mom in the final stages of cancer (Melanoma) and then having hip surgery that I put off for 2 years so I could be there for my Mom. Hubby and I are finally taking a cruise at the end of the month!! It's been hard after 3 family members were taken by cancer in 3 years the rest of us are healthy and I can travel again. My Daddy got a HUGE Jumpstart since he's retired and didn't have to wait for PTO at work to accumulate again. 🎉❤
I have a trip coming up in October. I am a blind person who uses a Guide dog. I have done this for 31 years. I will be traveling to California to the Guide Dogs For The Blind campus in October to have a weeklong training with my white cane. I have used a white cane often on since 1986, and I am excited to do this training because I will be exploring different travel apps and other things that are more modern and travel. I’m excited. This will make me a better traveler, both with my cane and with my dog. You have to have very, very good cane skills, and good orientation to work with a guide dog. You have to know where you are, and how to get where you are going. Your dog, of course, can learn routes, but they don’t know them at first. You also have to be able to get yourself out of difficult situations, such as getting lost.
When you get back to San Francisco, make sure you take the Alcatraz tour. I did it with my mom when I was very young and I found it so interesting. Thanks for the vlog Julia!❤️✈️
Alcatraz is an excellent visit. May be easier to plan for on a scheduled trip, or even on a weekday non-holiday week. Just there last year and yes, you have to plan ahead to get tickets.
Alcatraz is definitely worth seeing. I have taken the audio walking tour through the entire prison several times over the years and it is so interesting!
My grandmom pass away on May and it was very sad to me and my family, so to honor her and reunite as family I am taking them to Rome and Madrid next week.
Having lived in San Francisco for many years, I can tell you Julia. Ferry tickets sell out quick. Matter of fact, I enjoy walking the Embarcadero a lot more than the tour to Alcatraz. There is so much to do along the Embarcadero. Pier 39 is always a hot spot. Fisherman's wharf. Heck you can even walk the whole stretch to the other side of San Francisco and even hit Ghirardelli Square along the way. If you ever have a flight to SF again, check out Coit Tower. The views from the very top are just incredible. Always a go to for me.
I bought a Helly Hansen rain coat , for only the second time in my life keeps me dry and first coat lasted nearly a decade. Julia I’m ready for PA ready for 🌧️ 😊
hey julia! me and my mom went to alcatraz in 2010, still to this day was the most crazy tourist attraction ive ever done, including the colluseum. u should defitley go. its so bloody eeeirie.
I went to Alcatraz last August and I would 100% recommend! It was even more interesting then I thought it would be. Also the gift shop had some really good books! I read one called, Alcatraz Bride and I enjoyed it so much. It's a quick read (1 night) but it was very interesting.
Hi Julia - one good thing that has happened lately is that, I’ve been doing my music practice daily and working out at the gym with my personal fitness trainer to maintain a healthy weight and build muscular activity. ❤
You're on reserve because you're pro. I love your music choices please publish the playlist somewhere. A positive thing for me was not having a line at the bank on Saturday. A small thing but I needed that!
Julia, Make sure the next time you visit San Francisco you go to Alcatraz. It was so interesting when I went and you will enjoy it. Love your channel and enjoy watching your travels. Give Luna a hug for me❤! Laurie
Alcatraz is definitely worth it. I also love to take the cable car down to Ghirardelli Square...get some Ghirardelli and if the weather is nice, you have absolutely beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. I have a picture from a few years ago that is truly amazing. :)
My dad suddenly passed away recently, so finding positives is difficult for me right now. I do have an amazing boyfriend, 2 great doggos, and a job that I enjoy.
The Alcatraz tour is great! Make sure you get the headphones. We didn’t at first & so glad we changed our minds...it’s been awhile since I did it so hope it hasn’t changed!
Let's spread some positivity - what is the best thing that has happened to you lately?! Thank you everyone for watching & I hope you have a fab week! 😊❤✈ JJ
I just found out I’m having a 2nd nephew due in October.
I finally have 2 leg compression braces on today for the first time and it feels great
I submitted my Masters dissertation last week, now onto the next step of finishing off my Italian dual citizenship. Lots of positive things on my horizon.
Started my fall semester in uni and I love my classes!!
I announced my retirement!!!!!!

Yes! The Alcatraz tour is definitely worth it. I have done it twice and enjoyed the history aspect and the true stories about it very much.

Have been to Alcatraz. Very interesting and eerie at the same time. Always enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Love Luna. Best wishes
My fiancé and I have 2 beautiful daughters…ages 3 and 5 months.. and my positive is seeing the girls relationship really form.
Oh Luna was too funny with her digging zoomies, I was laughing out loud 🥰🥰 and I think you were right about the bookmark 😂😂
Yes, Alcatraz is 100% worth it! Also, the Disney museum and a cable car ride.
YESSSSS I JUST GOT MY FOOD AND FOUND U POSTED.!,!,! YESSS
Great vlog as always, Julia. I was hoping that you might go to fisherman's wharf when you were in SF and see the sea lions because they are so cute and funny. Speaking of funny, i think it's funny that Luna wanted your bookmark. It's always great to see the Luna Tornado
Oh something to do next time thank you!
Love your videos and your hair is always gorgeous ☺️
Luna is soo happy to see you she is so freaking cute!!!!!!
OMG! Love the skull and roses on the book cover 🍃🍂🍂🍁🍃🎃🎃🖤🖤💛💛🤎🤎🍁🍁🍃🎃👻👻🍃🍂🍃🤎💛🍃🍂🍂🍁🎃👻👻🍃🍂🍁🍃🎃🖤🖤💛✈️✈️✈️✈️🤎🎃👻👻🍃🍁🍃
Been on the Alcatraz tour, totally worth it!
Hi Julia, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I enjoyed watching your vlog this afternoon, and it's a beautiful day. Have a fantastic day
I did Alcatrez trip when my son was young. My husband went also. Was a great trip.
I saw that on Instagram😅, Luna stealing your bookmark is soo funny!
Ciao Giulia !!! sempre bella e simpatica, anche senza trucco !!!! Grazie per il video... i love it as usual...❤❤❤👍👍👍🙏
I have a roof over my head, a job, and food to eat.
:/
After being an ELO fan for over 50 years, I finally saw them in concert! It was phenomenal. Great video, Julia. 🥰
Oh that’s so cool!! I’ve seen some of my favorite artists in concert before and it’s such a fun experience 🎶😃
@@JettingJulia yes!
I went to Alcatraz last August and I would 100% recommend! It was even more interesting then I thought it would be. Also the gift shop had some really good books! I read one called, Alcatraz Bride and I enjoyed it so much. It's a quick read (1 night) but it was very interesting.
What beautiful weather in SFO! Alcatraz yes! Loved the music! ✌️
Hi Julia - one good thing that has happened lately is that, I’ve been doing my music practice daily and working out at the gym with my personal fitness trainer to maintain a healthy weight and build muscular activity. ❤
I applied to AA and Delta for FA on a whim. Yesterday I took their assessment
I have never worked in an airport, only a passenger. But since following you I didn't realise how complicated it can be
hoagie is PA and South NJ- North NJ and NY- it's a sub or a hero!
❤Another great video, Julia; much love to you, Eric and Miss Luna!
If you can get a ticket to Alcatraz, I highly recommend it. It is worth the trip, especially if you love history!!!!
Alcatraz is so worth it, just make sure you have a warm jacket for the ferry trip over is very cold and windy.
Laurie
Going to my horseback riding lesson this Wednesday at 5:10 am 2:36 So excited 😀😂😜😛🙄
