I dunno about the paladin's deck, but at least as far as jade goes, trump high rolled.
He's only half way through his deck and he drew 7 of his 8 jade cards.

People are saying "you lose a turn for playing crackling doom". I say...you also gain the turn that you play it. Is it absolutely insane as Trump thinks it is, no. But it is in no way bad. It's a Twisting Nether that lets you take next turn this turn, and is more flexible about when you can play it.

that's literally not the best player ever played. thats literally not includes math theory of card draw. that's literally telling that deck is't played by itself and that's literally shows that everybody dont think that way.

The arena format has just changed wildly and Trump's still learning it, and the recent changes may have increased the wins the lowest level players get and reduced the wins the highest level players get. When Trump says he has drafted the best deck he has ever made in arena, he is referencing the amount of times hes drafted with the very new arena rules which greatly, greatly improve the strength of the average arena draft and the old 4 year format with weaker decks.

I didn't see anything in this video that suggested crackling doom is less good than you thought it was, against tyrion any board clear would have lost the game in the same way, I think you probably would have gotten that game if he hadn't highrolled kodo, which is particularly impressive considering the new paladin secret should make that harder than ever to get the right one you need off of hydrologist. bad luck

Why did he hit the rag with his face.. i would have used jade lightning tbh. I guess value, but Trump is basically killing himself at that point. If he did that he would have survived at least one more turn.

Crackling doom has an art of fire and conflagration, but then when cast it's actually a lightning storm? Disappoint.

Yo @Trump: There is a perfect play at 22:40. Attack with 2/2 into taunt, then fire elemental it, then play jade claws. If one of the juggles goes face you have lethal (so thats a 50% 2 times). If both go into the minion you get a clean trade with your 3/1. Always check lethal options first my dear arena master. Man I'm so proud of seeing you go face more often. Pretty much started getting to know the game watching you back in 2014 when turn 2 yeti was still the dream. Keep it up man, started to enjoy watching your content again.

Huh, while I realize just general emote spam is perceived as bm, I saw it as actually genuinely saying "Well Played". Both decks were clearly insanely strong. I guess I just have more faith in hearthstone players than I probably should.

Worst part is he clearly didn't learn that you shouldn't draft that many crackling dooms...
They were dead in his hand multiple times because his deck was so good otherwise (the proactive jade cards were incredible). If your deck has bad curve, they get a lot better in multiples. They also get better when you have some reason to be overloading or some way to remove the overload. None of that either.

@8:21: Feel like trading both into mane, hitting corpse, and playing drake for full clear was the better play there.. Works too hard to set up crackling doom, eating 10 face damage to set up a big crackling just is not worth it, way too greedy.

That hunter got lucky as hell but I gotta disagree with putting the 1/1s down vs the Druid because of the power level of the decks nowadays. Multiple swipes and spreading plagues were actually a thing.

Crackling Doom is overrated despite the tempo it can bring, as said by the previous comment. It also doesn’t help that the average power level in Arena was way higher it seems.
It tells you that a lot of people are getting their best deck ever drafted these days.
Considering the recent changes, all decks went up significantly in power level. Even if it were his best deck ever drafted, all other decks got better, ultimately making the deck seem better than it really is.

Crackling doom isn't as good as it looks on the surface unless you have some cheese to go with it. Better off using minions + volcano/storm and still having some mana next turn. If your opponent follows up your doom w/ a board clear and plays a minion, you are worse off then when you started. It gets even worse from there because your opponent knows they get a free turn and they can setup up a play that you can't do anything to stop. In a meta where everyone gets clears, its not wise to pass your turn just to 1 shot everything.

"you are more likely to have a spikeridged steed in your deck than not have one" I played 3 paladin arena's and only got offered the card ONCE. Didn't get offered any truesilvers, tirions, or any of the good cards. Got offered unidentified maul a ton tho so that's good. Shame I never had a board though cause my opponent always has perfect curve/answers. Someone bless me with RNG just one time. I've only ever gotten 10 wins in arena lemme get my first 12 then i'll give your luck back
that's cos they recently changed the card occur rate so the arena decks are no where near as insane as when this card quality based patch came
I got mine when I drafted a rogue deck with 4 backstabs back in the days when oil rogue was a thing. The tempo swings were incredible!

Not everyone gets offered those cards constantly but if you made it to 11 wins you will most likely have those cards since they offer such a strong tempo swing thats hard to beat in arena. And Droga24/7 is just mad that their life is so shitty they have to take it out on random people

It's a losing play that's why. He would have overloaded for 10 and hardly any minion to play, while on the other hand his opponent would gain a 5-3 Ashbringer and be able to fill the board with minions
