I've really been enjoying all of the Arena videos lately! I know they're not for everyone, but they're my favorite content on this channel by far :)
i believe that arena is the best format right now in hearthstone tbh
@@madokakaname471 I think it needs more spells, and maybe a slightly larger pool to pick from, idk it needs to spice up, I love arena but it needs some love. I know spells can snowball, but then arena just becomes a game of tempo and can often be decided by turn 3, of course not all the time, but I'd like it to shake up a bit.
Its the only watchable hearthstone content right now :/

The druid at 5-0 telegraphed the UI. There is (almost) no other reason to play wild growth at 8 Mana.
It was still the correct play, I'd say. For cards like UI or Frost Lich Jaina, which have a strong long term effect but fairly small immediate benefit, you play them whenever you get a chance to.
@@krukblood-axe3649 I'm not saying the wild growth was a bad play. Playing booty bay when you know they are going to play UI is a bad play, though.
Trump gets a lot of flak for his bad plays, but game 2 was excellent

Imo he makes it easy for people to give him flak because he criticises himself often and is quite honest. Not a bad thing though.
this arena was really well played by Trump. the video itself was very informative. great thought process and reasoning behind every move you played. also, amazing draws and synergy. very enjoyable and although i have watched some very frustrating videos of your arenas too (as of late), this video showcased why I always come back here to watch you over and over. amazing dude

in one of his earlier drafts, he was picking snakes on hunter if I recall, and stone hill defender popped up and the chat was calling it "best snake"
blizzard generally has low performance for its mana cost, it's a panic button ad rarely clears the situation.

He calls it a snake because he did a poll during a draft of which card to pick between 2 Hunter Secrets that spawn snakes and a Stonehill
Trump was asking Twitch Chat to pick the best snake card out of the 2 in the poll
About 60-70% of the Twitch Chat voted Stonehill even though he asked which snake. So now Stonehill is a snake
Also he used his deck pretty efficiently and played very well after looking at this run. Seems like high level HS requires brains/skill
@@Aaronomus I mean technically speaking Stonehill has been a staple in control mage (another class with no class taunts) since KotFS.
@@amethonys2798 tbf..hunter dont actually need taunts to control the board, its deathrattle minions are a bigger threat than actual taunt minions plus spellhunter has enough controlling options with spells. On the side of mage, for eg big spell mage, it really needs to set up early minions just to reach that point where you just kept on clearing the board and play FLJaina turn 9
@@Azurus Blizzard is excellent if you want to SMOrc though. Get slightly ahead on board, oponent floods the board with minions trying to contest you, you Blizzard, smorc and win next turn. Works 100% every time. Unless you get AoE and you have no board. But that's why you draft SMOrc Pyroblast. This is not really Trump's style of playing so I can see why he doesnt like it.

Dear president Trump. The transform effect happens only when the card is in your hand. It is in human form by default so if you draw the card at correct time, you can have both forms in your hand and. They both change form while in hand so they will not have same form until played and returned to hand, shuffled to deck etc. It does not change form for while in your deck.
How does Trump displays the synergies and the little icons under the cards during the draft ?
I'm using ArenaTracker as well but I only have the score.

I recently started hearthstone and my strongest deck is a level 30 mech paladin, I am yet to beat the kobolds dungeon run, any advice?
Watch trumps videos on it. But its very build dependant, different for each class. Plus its a very big positive once you know a boss and what he can and cant do, but still its mostly rng. Sometimes you just get hard countered by a boss, or he gets insane rng.
I know I'll probably get hated for this a little from some people buut..

One common thing I notice is when he needs a 2-drop, a 2/3 with an ability he can't use gets skipped but a 2/3 or 3/2 (river crocolisk or bloodfin raptor) gets picked.
That relies entirely on what the other cards offered next to those 2 drops are. I don't know if you were trying to make a point or not but that's mostly random.
Just keep this thought in mind and watch future ones. If it's a 2/3 with a situational benefit, he will talk about the situation. If it's a 2 drop without, he will discuss how much he needs a 2 drop. It's not entirely on what other cards are offered because you have to watch your curve also.

if the opponent has 3 minions one of them being holomancer, does your mc tech steal a minion?
No. Battlecry happens first because holomancer effect happens *after* you play a minion, if it said *when* then you would steal a minion because the holomancer effect would happen first.
This is how the steps work
1. play minion
2. battlecry
3. minion enters play
If opponents effect takes place at step 2 or later then battlecry will happen first, if it happens at step 1 then battlecry happens after.
At 1:07:23 I personally would’ve done 18 damage to face, setting the opponent at 2, and then just fireblast face over the next two turns in case my minions couldn’t get through taunt. What do you guys think?
