Thank you for posting these Gimp videos! I tried watching another TH-camr earlier today and almost fell asleep....with you, I think I just finished binge-watching all your tutorials on here. Thank you again! These were great!
you Sir, are a GIMP god. Your videos helped me so much. Loved the thumbnail video and now working on my self-made avatar for youtube. Keep it up buddy.
If your text starts off too big (200+) the clip board will 'cut' some of it off starting from the right. That's why the second 'E' has lost some length for Nicks video attempt but not in the thumbnail. Copy smaller text and then resize the eraser when in use.
Hi again, and a little petition. Can you make some Scribus Tutorials, please? I think it should be great to make a complete Opensource Design TH-cam Channel in the future. Great job, and thanks for another amazing tutorial.
Really cool. Quick question. I know it would give less control over the effect, but what would happen if you open up the dynamics editor and set the eraser dynamics to random size and random opacity when you're doing the stamping? Would that save some time having to change the opacity and size manually each time? Or would the effect be too chaotic?
Sir, question. is it possible to have this artwork printed on t-shirt? If so, how to save the format thats good for printing? By the way thank you for all amazing videos.
Nick, great tutorials. I'm very new to this, but I've been learning a lot. One thing that drives me completely nuts is that every time I try to follow along with one of your videos, the new document keeps the setting that i last used. It makes it impossible to follow along since you start out all your tutorials as if it were a fresh install of Inkscape. So, i have to uninstall and then reinstall Inkscape every time I want to follow along with your videos. There's got to be another way. Any suggestions?
Thanks. I don't recommend making logos in GIMP though. Logos should be able to scale up infinitely without quality loss, therefore it should ideally be made in vectors. Inkscape would be a better option.
Hey Nick! I liked the vid and I think you should do the hole in paper effect, like somebody just punched a paper wall right open and there is some paper rapps around the hole. E.G.: i.stack.imgur.com/MOw7V.jpg
Eterno Games If I wasnt I wouldn't be asking. I already have the best settings I can like optimize, smoothing etc. But idk if there is something better...
I learn a lot from your videos but I get dizzy and nauseous when you are constantly moving your mouse in circles all over the screen. sometimes l don't catch where it lands so I keep having to go back.lol
Hey Nick.
Your vids have increased my productivity a huge amount.
Much thanks, from Ireland.
Glad to hear!
Watching these tutorials feels like I always learn what I should learn.

I love your work . Thanks for making gimp so easy for me to use!
I like how you always sign off with- "If you have any questions let me know and as always thanks for watching". 💞
So humble
That's a great idea! Thanks for the video.
Excelente, me gustan tus tutoriales y he aprendido mucho.
This is cool, i did not know that, copying text can be used as brush! Thanks Nick!
Yah, that's awesome!
Yeah it's a handy little trick
You're a Genius Brother♥️

Thats awesome. Another easy trick I'm going to try out. Might try a family photo.

Can you have multiple texts in the clipboard so that every brush can be a new text?
Great.

Great! You could use this for your Photographic Text tutorial too, right?
Yeah absolutely

i have a question, are you able to do that and make the text move ? like its falling in to place and then shows the eagel
Pls make a video, on how to make a logo using gimp. Dope VIDEO BTW.

Thank you for the response.
Nick Saporito can you make a webpage banner in Inkscape or gimp?
I am writing MEOW but ME is only visible in eraser. The clipboard image size is not changing.
Please help.
Once you download the font is it supposed to show up automatically in Gimp?
Yes, but you have to restart GIMP after you install the font.
For some reason when I click copy it doesn't copy the entire text that I write down only half of it. What do I do?
Hi, sorry if it’s too late, but i had the same issue and I just reduced the size of the text till it fits, I hope it works for you too
PLEASE TELL ME How to get that box where the layers are at
I figured it out

i wonder what the name of that bird was?
Best GIMP export settings?
are you serious?

Should say "Freedom" in stead of eagle.
